this is to be a collection of failed checks that helped you in the long run. it is for stories in RPG's. i have two examples: there was an illusion that was flying in the air. i failed my will save and switched to my bow, and figured it out in the same round, and had my bow out and it was ready when the evil flying snake woman revealed herself. the other time was when i tried to deafen the snake woman with a thunderstone, to give her a 20%percent chance of spell failure, and i deafened myself and not her and she used charm person, but i was deaf, so she couldn't talk me into doing something, so i just sharpened my dagger for the rest of the fight.
