As you likely know, I make Bloodlines (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?p=11487854#post11487854). I'm always looking for inspiration and taking requests. Because of this, I've come across a number of truly exceptional, and often quite large brews. Pretty much, I wish to compile a list of all of the homebrews that go so far as adding a new supernatural system.

The list so far:

Evolutionist (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=112349)
Ozodrin (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=153536)
Xenotheurgy (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=122103)
Xenoalchemy (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=205119)
Vocations (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=114229)
Malefactions (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?p=11237346#post11237346)
The Way Words Work (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=90961) (It Counts)
Descent of Shadows (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=74519) (Same. Still counts.)
Kitty Magic (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=165573)
Harrowed (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=188148)
Enigmist (http://brilliantgameologists.com/boards/index.php?topic=10990.0) (Brilliantgameologists)
Spellshapers (http://brilliantgameologists.com/boards/index.php?topic=11341.0;topicseen) (Brilliantgameologists)

Surely there are more like these, I just haven't come across them yet. As such, I'd very much appreciate it if you'd spike out any that I'm missing.

The Enigmist- Practically at will casting (http://brilliantgameologists.com/boards/index.php?topic=10990.0)

Spellshaping- Like ToB, only for blasters (http://brilliantgameologists.com/boards/index.php?topic=11341.0;topicseen)

Those are the only pseudo-complete ones I can think of at the moment.

I have a food-based magic system which isn't quite done yet, but you may want to keep a spot open on your list.

Uh, ****ing Descent of Shadows (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=74519), much? :smallwink: Technically it's an overhaul of shadowcasting, but it's so expansive and huge that I think it's earned a place here.

Woops, how could I have missed that one? Even did a Bloodline for it! Well, added.

Not entirely sure if this counts, but my Polymath (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=169353) class uses Techniques.

May not count as I never managed to complete a selection of forms for it (I still plan to, but have had trouble due to my realization that I have no real idea how spells balance at higher levels, thus making it hard for me to come up with any), but my ethercasting (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=153867) is its own type of magic. Also, similarly incomplete but much more recent and getting more frequent updates would be my necroclock devices (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=210375).
Also, I suppose that my wisp fire guide (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=106072) might be said to be it's own system.

By Zeta Kai there is the Bio Mage (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?p=2487790).
Morph Bark made the Limit Dragoon (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=168962).
Can't think of other's off hand.

Oh dang. The ethercasting system? I have to say Owrtho when I saw that I immediately fell in love with the concept. I hope you can figure out what to do with it. :smallfrown:

The Harrowed is pretty much the largest/most famous homebrew on this site! Why isn't it on the list?

Wut? WUT?! Have you looked at any of those things? Not to say that the Harrowed isn't famous, but it isn't even close to the largest. I mean... Descent of Shadows? Xenoalchemy? Xenotheurgy? Ozodrin? The Way Words Work? The Engineer? The Evolutionist? Sir, I believe you have been misinformed.

Well, it's the one I come across the most, at least.

While it's true that the Harrowed and Ozodrin pretty much compete for the most popular class in these forums(and deservedly, too, as they're pretty great), only the Ozodrin actually creates a new casting-type system, in essence. Still, I suppose Harrowed might qualifies. Still, this is a thread to list homebrewed casting/supernatural systems and their associated class(es), not the biggest pieces of homebrew, and I'm not sure entirely if the Harrowed qualifies. Still, I could be wrong.

@Welknair, Also, just wondering, would my Necrotic Points system for the Death Knight count? They can be used both to create temporary undead and cast necromancy spells, hence why I wonder if it would count as its own casting system.

Look closer. The Harrowed is on there.

Hmm....So it is. I don't think it was part of the list when all Harrow-related posts were done, though.

Owrtho

I have to note though that the Limit Dragoon was based of a system made by an old fellow homebrewer, filling in a large gap in his system. Then again, it was so well-received here and so many people helped add on to the original work I made... I was honestly stunned.

My Hemoscribe (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=176746) does have its own unique system though, and I still need to create more runes and bloodcasting abilities for it, but I just don't have the inspiration for it now, so it is still rather small. Sad, as it deserves much more. :smallfrown:

That's correct. Or, more specifically, when my post (the first one on the topic) was made.

Hmm, it claims the last edit was yesterday, when yours was today. Then again, I have no clue on how they measure that, so I wouldn't be surprised if it counted some edits weirdly or somesuch.

No, it was on there from the start. Pretty much every homebrew work that he based a bloodline on was on there. As for edits, they use the same time scale as normal posts, which are stated in the time zone selected for your account.

Here are some of my classes:
Disciple of the Fade (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=205460) > Uses fades and veils, akin to combining the invocations system with the martial adept system
Lunar Scythe (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=206552) > Uses lambents which use recharge times (and have lots of randomness)
Malefic Horror (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?p=11471263#post11471263) > Slight modification of invocations, combined with duskblade-esque channeling ability (not sure if this is different enough to count)
Ninja (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=210462) > Not done yet, and not all of the abilities granted are magic, but...
