Base Class Challenge VII Voting Thread

Welcome to the voting thread for Base Class Challenge VII, You've Been PUNK'D (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=206927)! Voting will consist of each voter giving a first, second, and third place vote for three separate base classes. A first place vote is worth three points, a second place vote is worth two points, and a third place vote is worth one point. The class that ends up with the most points wins the challenge contest. Voting starts now and will continue until 23:59 on August 29th.

I liked almost all the enties a lot, but my favourites were:

The Aviator: Because I love me some dogfighting.
The Combinatoric Maven: For doing a really good job of making an interesting companion that's not just a ripoff animal companion or special mount.
The Generator: For tying the ideas behind ToB and warlocks together in a very clever way.

I'm assuming you mean "combinatoric maven," since you already voted for clockwork ubermensch and it's the only class with maven in it.

I have to say though, wow, this is quite an amount of people showing up to vote. :smalleek: I wasn't there at the first BCC's voting thread, so I dunno if there were more people voting that time, but we might have a close call here!

Wow, I'm glad I checked this out in the end, this contest has come a long way since I was in it, and it's good to see so many inspired entries. I'll toss my vote as follows:

1st: Generator - This one is extremely cool and innovative, and it strikes me as great fun to play, so it takes the cake here.
2nd: Progressive Blade - I like the idea behind this one, and the Discipline's good.
3rd: Combinatory Maven - While the mechanics could be clearer, the impression I'm getting of what it does is very cool (although bizarre) and interesting.

I'm really impressed with the quality of this round.
