I've looked at some matches, and I've adopted a format I think works, tell me if I'm off.

Start in M25, Shield in one hand, Axe in the other, locked into place with the locked gauntlet.

Thoughts for the curious:
Opponent Action Soliloquy: Veldryn has one directly offensive spell, Color Spray, with a range of 15ft, the other spells are either buffs or not offensive enough to spend a round in anticipation. Since he made himself harder to hit with his Gift of the Spider Queen feat, I'm thinking he already used, or tried to use his Animalistic Power buff earlier. This is confirmed by his lack of forward movement.

Since he hasn't cast a spell in the last round, he can't have a true strike waiting for his hit, so my guess of his color spray readied action is further supported.

Own Turn Planning: Color Spray has a range of 15ft, so for him to waste a casting of it, I can come within 20ft (out of range, but a 5ft step would work), then ready an action to move if he comes within 15ft or tries to cast a spell. This is both to have him waste his color spray by moving away should he 5ft step then cast, and to prevent him from going with true strike by moving into melee should he try to directly cast true strike.

Of course, he can still do other things like other spells and more GotSQ, but I'm limiting his actions. Once we're in melee, I can either go full attack, or standard attack in combination with a strike if I have to move to get there.
I'm going out on a limb trusting that you won't read my thought for the curious tags, as they're meant for onlookers/refs. :smallwink:

My bad, I'll remember that next (this) time.

Thoughts for the curious:
My plan worked, somewhat, as I didn't get color sprayed, but he didn't lose his spell. However, I am in melee range for both my weapons, and since maneuvers are only one attack at this point, and since he still has that mirror image I didn't forget, I'll go full attack, either getting rid of his image, or having him spend more resources getting more up. Either way, the path is clear, threaten him, full attack, hope for the best with the next attack of his that's a hit due to his True Strike.

Lazy Genius, lack of sleep caused me to make a mistake there. Your 16 is below my AC and was a miss. My mistake and I am sorry there.

This means I'm at 0HP and disabled, I got one mroe shot, so I'll try to make the best of it.

Thoughts for the curious:
I can take free move actions, no penalty. Of course, those don't get me anywhere, so clearly I'll have to make an attack, hope it hits and hope I win the bleed-off. Then there's the option of Sapphire Nightmare Blade. large chance of hitting, more damage, and same effect on my health; -1.
