I have this probelem on this thread (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?p=11899112#post11899112). It says I am the most recent poster but doesnt show my post. Any help?. nvm posted again and it fixed the problem.

Known issue, you can see the post if you hit reply, just wait for another post to make it visible, I believe the mods are looking for a fix, other sciencey stuff.

Since there's no actual post in the topic, I can't report it as a blank topic via the Report system, and since there's no actual post in the topic, it appears I cannot reply to the thread, and I'm guessing that means others can't reply to it?

Out of curiosity, there are say 1200 posts in thread, then forum shows 1199 replies in the main view. Okay, understandable. But, in some threads it shows less, say, 1197 or 1195 replies. Why is that?

We're having a similar problem here (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?p=11958978), and not even other people attempting to post seems to work - they appear in the thread preview when replying, but they don't appear in the main screen. Any way to salvage it?

Just happened to me in the interview thread. Is there an official policy on this? Am I supposed to double post so its visible, or just say tough luck, they won't get to answer my q's?

Just leave it be. Most people will notice the inconsistency and can easily see the hidden post by clicking Reply (without actually replying). Then, when someone has a legitimate reason to post, it will reappear.
