I'm working on making some Halloween music lists's. Looking for creepy songs, movie soundtracks, haunting tunes, or lyrics referencing monsters/supernatural creatures.

Mixing classics with obscurities, and all genres; metal, country, celtic, classical, it's all good.

What I have so far:
A Night On Bald Mountain - Leopold Stokowski
Creepy Doll - Jonathan Coulton
Drive Away - A Series of Unfortunate Events sound track
Enter Sandman - Metallica
Ghostbusters - Ray Parker Jr.
Ghost Riders - Johnny Cash
Gollum's Song - Lord of the Rings soundtrack
Hand of Fate - Signs soundtrack
Halloween Theme - Halloween soundtrack
Heirate Mich - Rammstein
Howl - Florence & the Machine
I Believe In Ghosts - Jason Aldean
It's A Monsters' Holiday - Buck Owens
Keep The Streets Empty For Me - Red Riding Hood soundtrack
Lady In Black - Uriah Heep
Love Me Dead - Ludo
Mercedes Lullaby - Pan's Labyrinth soundtrack
Midnight In Montgomery - Alan Jackson
Monster Mash - Crypt Kickeers
Nightmare - Brainbug
O Death - Jen Titus
Scaredy Cat - Lou Rawls
Sittin' Up With the Dead - Ray Stevens
The Cask of Amontillado - Alan Parson Project
The Gravel Road - The Village soundtrack
The Highwayman - Loreena McKennitt
The Howling - Within Temptation
They Pray With Snakes - Boondox
Those We Don't Speak Of - The Village soundtrack
Thriller - Michael Jackson
Werewolves In London - Warren Zevon

Open to additional suggestions :smallamused:

Anything by Van Helsing's Curse (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0JzPDL2v3l8) is awesome for this. Sometimes cranks up the cheesiness, but still.

You could search through the archives and see the list we came up with last year at this time. I've got no complaints with the mix you came up with, though.

Any idea what it was called? Think I got a bunch of these from a list that was once on here. Didn't think it was last year though.

I don't recall off the top of my head. I do recall posting to complain that their original list had an inexcusable lack of Warren Zevon.

Ah. My Google-fu is up to the task (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=172946).

Ah ha, yeah, that was it. Not a big fan of the majority of those. Many are only vaguely creepy or hallowthemed.

Creepy songs?

Twinkle twinkle (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jRXQsQKGqIU)?

The girl who was... death (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v8geiz4dGgA&feature=related)?

EDIT: For the second one, put on headphones and lie down on the floor in an entirely dark room. One of the best musical experiences I've ever had. Also, nightmares for months.

American (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N9wKGYm_NF4) McGee's (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6LVJ8rOg_ug&feature=related) Alice (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KGNOgoW1_wo&feature=related) has a decidedly creepy suondtrack.

Danny (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZktSPrGSck) Elfman (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yW0FieYfiM4) is the man to look for (he is also the author of this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=udRQLPy35v8) masterpiece).
