The short of it: Shifters in my campaign, instead of the different Traits, channel the properties of different animals; the specific animal channeled can be changed daily. I need a paragon class that can be used to focus a Shifter on one particular animal. As it stands, the available animals to channel and the abilities granted:

Wolf - +2 STR, Improved Trip as bonus feat
Bear - +2 CON, +2 WIS
Tiger - +2 CHA, +10' base land speed
Viper - +2 DEX, DCs of poisons you use increase by half your HD
Hawk - 20' fly speed (average), Track as bonus feat, +4 to Survival checks
Ape - +2 STR, 20' climb speed
Owl - +2 WIS, +4 to Spot, Listen, and Search checks

Here is something i pumped out in two hours. I hope it doesn't show. It's slightly geared toward an inside joke here at work but feel free to modify as needed. If you want them to have to choose, simply add in this level 1 class feature:

Heritage Affinity: Upon taking your first level of this class, select one of the animals you can channel. This is your animal heritage and you gain benefits from this class based on that animal and that animal alone. Once this choice has been made it may not be changed by anything short of a wish spell or similar effect.

Also, Channeled Focus for example wouldn't have "for the day" in its description. Stuff like that.

"We needed a hundred lawmen to tame New Eldeen Reaches. We got one. You know something? He was enough. Because one day, a lawman appeared with powers of hawk, wolf, puma and bear! Protecter of peace, mystic man from afar. Champion of justice, Marshall Bravestarr!"
-From the Chronicles Of Marshall Bravestarr, Liberator of New Eldeen Reaches

Class Features
All the following are class features of the shifter paragon.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: shifter paragons are proficient with all simple weapons, with their own natural attacks, and with light armor.

Channeled Focus (Ex): Depending on your channeled animal for the day you gain additional benefits.

Wolf – Natural Attack (Bite) 1d8, if you hit with the bite you may make a trip attempt
Bear – Natural Attack (2 claw attacks) 1d4
Hawk – Increased maneuverability and +2 to spot listen and search, low-light vision (quadruple normal vision)
Puma (Tiger) – Additional +10 to base land speed and Run feat
Viper – +2 to hide and move silently and poison damage is increased by +1
Ape – Improved Grapple and +4 to Jump checks
Owl – Primal Screech (Ex): As a standard action you make scream as an owl does, striking fear into the hearts of your enemies. All enemies within 30 feet must make a Will save DC 10+Wis+Shifter Paragon class level or be shaken for 1d3 rounds. You may use this ability times per day equal to your Wisdom bonus plus your shifter paragon class level.

Improved Channeled Focus (Ex): As channeled focus but increased benefits.

Wolf– Weakened Strike: If attacking a prone opponent with a melee attack, you gain an additional +4 to attack rolls and add double your strength modifier to damage dealt.
Bear – Rend: If you hit with both claw attacks you rend your opponent. This deals an additional 2d6+Str damage.
Hawk – Estranged Sight: Your eyesight pierces the veil. You now gain dark vision 60’ and the ability to see invisible within 30’.
Puma – Sprint: Times per day equal to your Con mod you may run at 7 times your base land speed for rounds equal to your Con mod.
Viper – If you catch an opponent flat-footed (similar to sudden strike, not sneak attack) you may make a poison attack in addition to any attack made in that round. If the attack you choose is a poison attack, you may make two.
Ape – Constrict: On any round that you have your opponent pinned, you may deal 2d6+Str and a half to the target.
Owl – Concussive Screech (Ex): Your screech is even shriller and causes enemies who are shaken to become stunned from the force of the sound. Enemies within 30 feet who are shaken must make a Will save DC equal to Primal Screech +2 or become stunned for 1 round. Using this ability counts as a use of Primal Screech.

Primal Focus: The pinnacle of your race; you are an exemplar of what it means to be a shifter. Whether the chieftain of a tribe, or simply the loner who has delved into his heritage; you have become an avatar of your peoples.

Shapeshifter (Su): You gain the ability to transform fully into the animal you are channeling. Your equipment melds into your new form and ceases to function as if you were using Wild Shape of the druid class. You do not gain the statistical benefits of the animal as listed in the Monster Manual, you instead gain these benefits listed below. In the case of Natural Armor increases a character without a natural armor score is considered to have a natural armor of +0.

Bear/Ape: +4 Str, +2 Con, Natural Armor score +4, DR 5/magic
Wolf/Puma: +4 Dex, +2 Str, Natural Armor +4, +20 base land move speed
Hawk/Owl: +4 Wis, +2 Dex, Natural Armor +2, Bonus Feats: Alertness and Skill Focus (Spot, Listen, Search, or Survival)
Viper: +4 Dex, +2 Int, Natural Armor +2, Bonus Feats: Dodge and Combat Expertise

Statistic Increase (Ex): Additionally, based on the animal you are focusing for the day, you gain the below benefits regardless of being shape shifted or not.
Wolf – +2 Dex
Bear – +2 Str
Hawk – +2 Dex
Puma – +2 Con
Viper – +2 Dex
Ape – +2 Str
Owl – +2 Wis
