So, does anyone have any suggestions for spreading the word for a recently published fantasy book? I have left business cards at the local coffee shop and ever posted up a few flyers where I can. Any suggestions that won't cost me an arm or a leg?

Sample Chapter on Facebook/Google+
Link to ebook format if it exists
Link to book for sale through your store front or amazon.com or somesuch.

Go sit in the book store and tell people about your book. I've seen plenty of authors down at the Chapters pitching their new book in this method.

What's the name of the book?

The book title is "Falls the Shadow", it's available in paperback, hardcover, ebook format on:
Barnes & Noble (http://www.barnesandnoble.com/s/Falls-the-Shadow-by-Melissa-Sasina?store=ALLPRODUCTS&keyword=Falls+the+Shadow+by+Melissa+Sasina)
Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Falls-Shadow-hardcover-Melissa-Sasina/dp/1257632418/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1323484947&sr=1-1)
Lulu (http://www.lulu.com/spotlight/MelissaSasina)

It has a Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Falls-the-Shadow/197453996999415) page, as well as a group page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/chroniclesofmidgard/) for the entire series "The Chronicles of Midgard".

It can also be found on Good Reads and Selfari.

I actually do have a sample chapter up, but its on deviantART (http://www.shiovra.deviantart.com/gallery/?offset=24#/d463qen)

I really don't do twitter and don't really have a store front aside from my Author spotlight on Lulu, but I do have a blog... (http://melissa-sasina.blogspot.com/)

Unfortunately, since they closed Borders, the nearest book store by me is about an hour away :smalleek:
