The Package (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0418.html), the cup (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0472.html), and the message (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0827.html) are present in the comic yet it is not shown or revealed. What are they and are (or will) they connected to each other?

The cup is a cup of coffee, and the message is presumably a warning that Redcloak recovered the phylactery and the Resistance is dead. As far as I know the package was just part of a joke and hasn't affected the plot in any direct way.

They are all the same thing.

I don't get it!
How about
Numidium or Heart of Lorkhan from Morrowind. I think like Package could be mantella and the cup might be an improvised key.

Cup of tea would make the most sense, given the setting. But I always took the joke to mean that there is no cup of anything they want to have--it's just an excuse to get together (and do the nasty).

But martianmister is correct.

The "package" is just part of the double entendre comic strip. It being another euphemism for penis. The message is just telling Hinjo that the whole Resistance has been wiped out and the phylactery found.
But I always assumed it was an invitation to go on a date because she mentions it when she thinks Daigo is dying and that's just much sweeter than regret that she hadn't slept with him yet...

And you seem slightly obsessed with Skyrim...

What else would they be?

Yep! I thoughtThanh would be brainwashed like Ulfric Stormcloak instead he's dead like a blue cloth!

I don't understand what this thread is about? Do you really think a couple of throwaway lines from 400 strips ago are related to what's going on right now??? :smallconfused::smallconfused:

The Package (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0418.html)

A pointless gag

the cup (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0472.html)

A cup of coffee for their date (which considering lead to marriage isn't that much of a mystery)

the message (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0827.html)

A message to the lord about their resistance

are present in the comic yet it is not shown or revealed.

Actually they are revealed, and the message we don't know yet if it will be shown.

What are they and are (or will) they connected to each other?

How do you draw that conclusion or speculation?:smallwink:

I thought they would be chekov's gun that are meant to be fired.
Sorry, I think!

The cup was originally mentioned in the last panel here (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0468.html).

And you seem slightly obsessed with Skyrim...

This leads me to believe that this entire thread is some sort of reference to another work of fiction that has no meaning to anyone who hasn't also read/watched it. And thus has no real relevance to OOTS at all, other than to try to make inside jokes to other fans of the other work.

I used to be obsessed with skyrim like you, then I took an arrow in the knee.
Sorry, someone had to do it.

Awful. Terrible meme too. Skyrim has so many better things to meme.

Got to thinking, maybe I'll create the next Skyrim meme and I just don't know it yet.

i would have to agree that every single thread has a comparison to Skyrim, and it is really annoying.

as many have said, package was a euphemism used in a double-entendre.

The cup is possibly the most common used phrase for asking someone out without actually asking them out.

the one thing i will add is that niu cuts off thanh before he finishes telling her what to do, while this most likely is nothing, he could have told her something she didnt know that hinjo would need to know.

Actually, it's morrowind. And I thought and I already learned my mistake.

It's a bit like a puppy that's been given a shiny new squeaky toy. It's kind of adorable at first seeing how excited it is, but it gets annoying very quickly when it just doesn't. Stop. Squeaking it.

Well you can't blame it. You are obviously the smarter one, seeing the annoyance behind their fun.

And the thing, it doesn't know anything but pure enjoyment without complexity, not being able to comprehend anything else but that the toy is fun. Not seeing a bad side to anything. Wouldn't be too bad a way to live really.:smallamused::smalltongue:

Everyone else beat me to replying, so I can't really add much, except that I just noticed an extra word in the package comic (first panel, "save this one this" in Lien's speech baloon).
