Been taking some time revisiting the Ultimate splatbooks, and I just cant' get over my dissatisfaction that the Wizard (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/wizard) gets a free pass, but not the Sorcerer (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/sorcerer). Specifically, the Spellslinger (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/wizard/archetypes/paizo---wizard-archetypes/spellslinger) archetype.

The Spellslinger is a relatively simple conversion for the Wizard, so far as archetypes go, but becomes a little more complicated for the Sorcerer. All the changes go in at first level.

Arcane Bond >> Arcane Gun | A nicely balanced twist on the Arcane Bond, without making them too reliant on firearms combat.
Scribe Scroll >> Gunsmithing | Bonus feat for bonus feat. Simple.
Cantrips >> Mage Bullets | Those familiar with the Magus class should find this familiar. Here is where the Spellslinger starts to blend bullets with spells. You're giving up your 'limitless' spells here, so be ready to be making ammo for when you've used up your spell slots.
Arcane School >> School of the Gun | You want gun magic? You're going to pay for it with a total of four opposition schools. Chances are, if you're a Spellslinger, you already know the schools you'll be focusing on.

So, how do we go about making this archetype friendly for the Sorcerer, other than taking a one-level dip into Wizard? Let's begin.

Arcane Bond - This one is easy, but it is going to pigeonhole our SorcSlinger a bit. Fortunately, the features of this bloodline work well for the purposes of a blaster. The Arcane Bloodline (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/sorcerer/bloodlines/bloodlines-from-paizo/arcane-bloodline) grants this feature as its 1st-level Bloodline Power. Get it in, swap it out.

Scribe Scroll - Give up Eschew Materials. Done.

Cantrips - It hurts, but it's right there to swap.

Arcane School - And here's why I bring this to you good folks. Should our SorcSlinger now be subject to opposition schools as well, or should a higher level Bloodline Power be removed to make room for School of the Gun?

I personally think, and many agree, that the spellslinger gives up too much in the first place. Perhaps reduced spells per day/spells known ala the crossblooded sorcerer and the 3.5 battle sorcerer.

Or you could make gunslinger its own bloodline.
