The Ultimate Random Adventure Generator

I have here an extensive collection of random tables for random adventure generation. Roll on each one, and you will have the skeleton of an adventure for any RPG system, although the tables assume the game you are using has a medival or swords & sorcery fantasy theme.

Setting

Located in the Grey/Shadowfell/Plane of Shadow.

Haunted by restless spirits.
Located in the Astral Plane/Astral Sea/Limbo.
Infested with fungus or quickly spreading plants.
Leakage from the Far Realm/Void/Dungeon Dimensions.

Objective

Rescue hostage.
Escape imprisonment.
Retrieve item.
Retrieve antagonist.
Kill antagonist.
Explore uncharted territory.

Hehehehe ... I just rolled up an adventure where the heroes have to escape a fungus forest while evading evil humans and their hulking clockwork servants, who are lead by a disguised dark elf.

Heh... not bad. But, I think it's more of a Fantasy-Only sort of thing.

I did state that it was intended for fantasy games. Although, I'm considering making a science fiction one.

Splendiferous! I've already concocted a get-rich quick expedition to jungle-ruins, followed by investigating a seaside necropolis. All the adventures share the same adventure, a Mind Flayer controlling first orcs, then local Deep Ones, and finally the resurrected inhabitants of the necropolis with blood sacrifice!
