Races and Templates
(please note that there is a separate monster thread for non-playable monsters)

In this thread will reside every user-submitted race or template designed by the Playground. When submitting your races, please do so in the approved format, with no extraneous detail. Doing otherwise will result in a thread that is hard to navigate.

*Note: Please disable your signature when posting to this thread. To do so, uncheck the "show your signature" box under additional options when posting (or editing).*

Entries should look like this:

[LA#][RHD#] Race Name (http://google.com): A one-line explanation of the race.

If your creation has 0 LA or 0 RHD, do not skip the tag. Include the 0.

For instance:
[LA3][RHD6] Were-bear (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/lycanthrope.htm#werebear): The werebear from the SRD.
[LA4][RHD0] Half Celestial (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/halfCelestial.htm): a template.

EDIT: New [Tag] designation. Many of the playable monster classes that the playground has started to develop use the Savage Species path of advancing templates each level. For these types of monsters/templates, were going to add a [SS] (Savage Species) tag to denote this sort of advancement over time.

Thus,
[SS][LA0][RHD3] Half-Celestial (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showpost.php?p=8538254&postcount=434): A Savage Species style conversion of the class template.

It is particularly important this your tags are formatted in the right order. LA should come first, and there should be no space or comma between the two tags. Thus, someone looking for a +2 LA template could search the thread for [LA2][RHD0] and get exactly what they're looking for.

That's it. Please provide nothing else and try to limit your explanation to one line. Please try to consolidate all of your homebrews into one post if you come back later to add more.

If you think that this thread would be improved by a [Tag] system, please suggest it in the discussion thread.

Happy 'brewing!
