New server?

Im just wondering if the advertizing is generating the sort of revenue Rich was looking at in order to upgrade the server, because over the last week or two, I have noticed a real slowdown in terms of service. At least half of my posts do not trigger the new post subscription and are invisible until the next post is made, and threads seem to take forever to open at times. Its not my computer, every other website snaps open, and there seems to be no consistent time that it will or will not be slow.

IIRC, the official answer is "it fluctuates between almost enough and nowhere near enough."

Sheriff: We're aware of the ongoing server issues, and the recent events surrounding Kickstarter, daily OotS comics, and such have only exacerbated the problems.

I wouldn't dare to venture a guess as to when we can address the problem, but we're always working on it. (Which is to say that Rich and Rawhide are always working on it and I am there, too, sometimes!)
