I wonder why Western Character has to be civil war veteran.
Blueberry- Former Southern Plantation Owner who joined the Union when a slave saved his life.
The Searchers- Confederate Veteran
Call of Juarez- Confederate Veteran
Even the space western has one
Firefly- the Main Characters (Malcolm Reynolds, Wash and his wife) are the series' equivalent of Confederates.
P.S- I want to clarify that Union uniform is blue and has a blue kepi.
