Improved familiars otherwise use the rules for regular familiars, with two exceptions: If the creature’s type is something other than animal or vermin, its type does not change; and improved familiars do not gain the ability to speak with other creatures of their kind (although many of them already have the ability to communicate).

An Improved Familiar causes your familiar to act as though you were of lower level. When you gain an Improved Familiar apply the indicated adjustment to the master’s level (in parentheses) for purposes of determining the Familiar’s characteristics and special abilities.

Here are a few suggestions :
1-Instead of putting the appropriate letters ''in the air'', put them in parenthesis.
2-Maybe you could do an alignment column, and mention than no alignment component must be opposed between the master and the familiar (as written, a CG character can choose a babau). In that case, I'd suggest adding a ''one step only'' restriction for outsiders.

Your table requires formatting to be broken up for readabiliy, such as the Summon Moster spells on, dare i say, D and D wiki (http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/SRD:Summon_Monster_I)

In other news: Dire Shark=Awesome

Done.

That rule isn't present in this. Also Demons are allowed to chaotic goods, but allying with a demon is an evil act in itself so you will slowly turn evil.
