forum too busy

so, whats with all the "forums is too busy" messages the last couple days? i used to get them occasionally but not often. however over the last 2-3 days i have been getting this message upwards of 15 times a day.

The forums are too busy.

Seriously though, it's the servers. It was the servers back when you got the message less often, and it's still the servers. They're being taxed by how popular the forum's become, and sometimes have more traffic than they can take; rather than just crap out entirely, they coded it to give that message.

Also I believe that when the servers do that, the best thing is NOT to go trigger-happy on the refresh button. Just wait a few minutes and try again. Going trigger-happy on the refresh button just makes the forum busier.
