My friend and I are currently in the process of constructing a couple of classes based around the idea of shape-changing/mutating. Not polymorph/wild shape etc., more permanent than that.
For example, there will be some mutations you start before you rest, and wake up changed, through to more permanent ones a la the plant companions for druids in Dragon Magazine #357.
One class will be focussed on mutating themselves, another on mutation companions (like animal companion type things)
Does anyone know of anything like this that currently exists, that I could look at for reference?
