Does anyone follow any of the awards that RPGs get?

I was looking at Dungeon World and discovered that it'd just won this year's Golden Geek for RPG of the year. I wasn't really aware of the Golden Geeks for RPGs, although I think I've seen a gaming interview podcast with one.

The thing about RPG awards is they're not all that easy to find on Google if you don't already know their names...

I know of:

Golden Geek Awards (http://boardgamegeek.com/award/8314/golden-geek-awards)
Origins Awards (http://gama.org/OriginsAwards/tabid/2720/Default.aspx)
Indie RPG Awards (www.rpg-awards.com/)
ENnie Awards (www.ennie-awards.com/)
Diana Jones Awards (www.dianajonesaward.org/)

Are there many more? How do they become credible? I mean where's the line between a legit award and "some guy with a website says what's best".
