Protein Bloodline

You are descended from a long line of MEAT.

Class Skill: Profession (Cook).

Bonus Spells: restore corpse (3rd), bull's strength (5th), spherescry (7th), fleshworm infestation (9th), animal growth (11th), stone to flesh (13th), regenerate (15th), animal shapes (17th), hold monster, mass (19th).

Bonus Feats: Athletic, Great Fortitude, Intimidating Prowess, Shapeshifter Foil, Skill Focus (Profession Cook), Self-Sufficient, Still Spell, Toughness

Bloodline Arcana: Unlike most sorcerers, whose innate magic is powered by force of personality, you use your muscles to understand and master your mystic powers. You use your Strength, rather than your Charisma, to determine all class features and effects relating to your sorcerer class, such as bonus spells per day, the maximum spell level you can cast, the save DCs of your spells, and the number of daily uses of your bloodline powers.

Bloodline Powers: Your ancestral reliance on muscles and meat is the source and center of your magical talents.

Grill Skills (Su): At 1st level, as a standard action, you can imbue a serving of meat with healing power. A person can consume this meat as a swift action, healing 1d3+1/2 sorcerer level heath and removing fatigue. A single person can only benefit from ability once every 12 hours, due to the filling nature of the meat. The meat retains its healing properties for 24 hours. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to you Profession (Cook) modifier.

Meatsense (Ex): At 3rd level, you gain the scent ability regarding things made of meat (for example, zombies and flesh golems will be detected but skeletons and gelatinous cubes will not) with a range of 30 feet. At 9th level the range extends to 60 feet. At 15th level you gain blindsight (30 feet) with the same restriction.

Waste Away (Su): At 9th level, you can make a melee touch attack against one creature to do 1d4 + ˝ sorcerer level Strength damage. The damage lasts one hour. The target may make a Fort save to take half of the strength damage. At 11th level you can choose between dealing Str or Dex damage. At 13th level you can choose between dealing Str, Dex or Con damage. You can use this ability once per day at 9th level, twice per day at 17th, and three times per day at 20th.

Unstoppable Force (Ex): At 15th level, you get a speed bonus equal to your Str bonus x5 feet. This can apply to you or a meat-based mount. In addition, if your hit points drop below 0, you automatically stabilize and begin regenerating 2 hit points per round for a number of rounds equal to your Strength bonus. You still die if your hit points reach a negative number equal to your Constitution score, regardless of whether you are regenerating. This ability only works once per day—if you drop below 0 hit points a second time, you do not benefit from this ability.

Meat is Magic (Ex): At 20th level, you attain true union with your bloodline; meat and mystical power become one and the same. Once per day you can feast on meat to regain spell slots. You must spend a minute of feasting per spell level you wish to regain (maximum of 10 minutes spent to regain 10 spell levels). If you are interrupted during your feast (you must use a move action to continue feasting and you cannot concentrate on anything that takes longer than a standard action) then you only regain spells for the minutes that you have finished. You can divide these spell levels between as many spell slots as you want. You cannot regain spells above 6th level with this ability nor can you regain more spell slots than you would normally have. For example, a sorcerer that spends 8 minutes feasting can regain a 6th level spell slot and a 2nd level spell slot OR he can regain two 4th level spell slots OR eight 1st level spell slots OR any combination of spell slots to equal 8.

This homebrew is fairly kosher, by my standards at least :smalltongue:
