Ah I see. He was good. The only reason I thought it was him was the word 'Baron'. It made me think of Germany and the hat looks kinda German to me. But the actual Baron isn't bad, if a little dark. Maybe that's my computer though.

You know what? Despite finals season, I'm in a good mood today. I've decided to do some work for Sophistemon's comic, drawing his characters, and I eventually decided that since I do like character design so much,

Specifically for The Town, I will take commisions on the conditions:

1. I agree to do so, as there are some characters that I either just don't want to bother drawing, or aren't interesting enough for me to put full effort into.

2. I have as long as I want, because I'm swamped with work. You might end up with a full color if you're lucky, but more likely it'll just be a sketch.

Yeah, if you turn the sword right-side-up, there's a happy face in it. I just did that on a whim. And I did realize afterward that I made her look kind of cute, what with the her feet melding into shadows and the shadowy flame hair (although it won't really be evident till the finished version) not complimenting cute. But I dunno, cute fits the character, regardless of evil goddess-ness.

This is the basic sketchwork on Joseph. I haven't decided on the detailing for his revolvers, but I like the poor, dead vampire in that coffin below him. Adds dynamism.

Ms. E had Iris say, a while back, that she, Revenant, and Alastor were becoming a messed-up little family. Well, I decided to make a family tree, just to map it out. And I realized, yeah, they are pretty screwed-up. Consider that Revenant, a human personification of vengeance, and a living hallucination with a hat fetish are all, due to those crazy magical ties as opposed to normal children, half-brothers.

On a seperate note, a friend of mine (the attractive one I mentioned a while back; we still haven't decided whether to hook up or not) commented that because I shaved my distinctive soul patch recently, we need to do something else to assert my individuality, visually. Although I think she's REALLY doing this because a mutual friend has really been coming on to me hard since I changed my look (think "Oh, was my hand on your thigh? I'm sorry; I didn't notice"), I eventually decided what I wanted to do.

(I'm the elf in Wukei's comics that holds up the Indurain doll.)
It was a big gimmick with my character that I was ambiguously nude because my avatar only had a face and bare neck on it. Sneak drew my doll behind a bush and that stuck.
Blame Indurain.
This is just a rough sketch, so there's a bunch of scratchies. I dunno if I'll color it or not. That's a leaf she's picking out of her hair, by the way. :smalltongue:

Sikka: I love her wings, and the "feathery hair" effect I give most winged characters, now. But I really can't wait to color those wings.

After seeing a drawing of the Town, I thought I should make some changes. I didn't get rid of anything, I moved the desert because a desert next to a forest? cmon! Below the picture I have a quick guide to the way I see things...

Country Side- This is where small Hamlets and other villages are set up. It is a quiet place except for the frequent goblin raids on the nearby villages from the many goblin tribes. Recently the goblins haven't been getting anything good from their raids on the villages and some are dareing enough to enter the Town at night and steal what they want.

The Mountains- The mountains are a place of hardship, seperating the Town and Country Side from the Desert. The mountains hold many dungeons and underground caverns for exploring. In the middle is a Valley

The Valley- and empty place where creatures and adventurers wander... that's all I got

The Forest- The forest is a quiet place, usually filled with treants and other Fey's.

Swamp- The swamp is not a pleasent place. It smells of rotting bodies and has a right too, for the place is covered with rotting corpses. The Swamp once held a strange disease, now those that were afflicted lie around the Swamp, their dead bodies attracting Ghouls, Vampires, and other creatures that eat dead bodies.

Deep Woods- The Deep woods are a place far more hostile than the Forest. When you pass the Swamp that means you are now in Deep Woods. In the Deep Woods there are large Herds of Dire Animals and a LARGE tribe of Hobgoblins. There is also a small warband of Kobolds, near am underground cave that are trying to mine the minerals in the cave. Other types of creatures also wander the Deep Woods.

Desert- The Desert holds many lost tombs that hold riches and are well worth exploring...

It's just a random guy. I drew it in about 10 minutes, so I can do a LITTLE better. For some reason, I couldn't completely erase my pencil marks so erase those. I put the thumbs on the wrong side too...

Also, for some reason, tonight I just couldn't draw competent eyes, even though I usually can. I tried to compensate by giving him an eyepatch, but as it turns out I can't draw one of those either...

I just gave him emo-hair and what appears to be a hole in his head, but you can still see his right eye... ... ... ...
