My google-fu is failing. I've found a bunch of other really cool stuff, but I can't find the specific kind of picture I'm looking for.

I need a pic of a dungeon-y hallway illuminated by torchlight (if not torchlight, something else will do) from the perspective of the viewer. I've found a ton of pics of hallways with torches on the walls, but I want something that shows what the adventurers see as they walk through the dungeon carrying torches.

Anybody able to offer assistance?

Ok, if I'm understanding this correctly then you specifically want the dungeon to be illuminated by torches that the adventurers are carrying and not just a torch-lit dungeon. I didn't have much luck on that, but I did find some dungeons that don't have lit torches stuck on the walls so you could always "pretend" it's lit by handheld torch (I know, it's not much).

I also included some dungeons lit by wall-mounted torches just in case I didn't understand you correctly. Also, some of these have text/menu item bars on the borders, but they should be usable with minimal cropping.

First, pictures of torch-lit dungeons:

Third, pictures of dungeons lit by adventurer's torch (I said it wasn't much :smallsigh:):

Hopefully *some* of that helps. If not, you could pick a couple favorites and that might help us narrow it down.

Just as a thought if you have a copy of Skyrim for PC you can create that screenshot pretty easily.

You can try this:

OHMYGOD. That's amazing.

But I'm stuck over here in PS2ville on the corner of I'd-rather-stay-married Lane and Final-Fantasy-Tactics-cost-me-a-semester-of-college Avenue.

I've been looking at some Skrim screenshot threads and I think they may yield some fruit.

ALSO: Baj, that's some awesome work. I've seen some of those, but others were new to me.

I'm looking for this because I'm GMing for a group (five players) that has a collective total of almost 100 years of table top experience and I'm looking to stir things up. It's been awhile, but now we've started a game at 1st level, and I'm bringing in visual aids just as a kind of kickstarter for the imagination. For example, as they travel through the foothills toward the mountains, I put this (http://images.fineartamerica.com/images-medium-large/foothills-above-salt-lake-city-utah-images.jpg) up on the wall.

So it occurred to me the other day how insane it is for low-level types to be wandering around in the dark of the abandoned temple (or whatever, but in this case it is specifically a temple) with only a damn torch for light.

And so that's why the request for images.

(Incidentally, they loved it. I've got these five jaded gamers telling me how much fun they had last week, so the images will definitely be a part of my arsenal from now on.)

If you really want to hammer this home, Skyrim with one of the dark-dungeons mods might serve you even better. (All the underground areas have a certain amount of ambient light in the default game; there are a number of mods that strip that away - making it really, really, REALLY dark even with a torch.)

Something like this, for example:
