Acorn of Summoning
Each acorn of summoning is a small nut, with a darkwood shell, embedded with a small Siberys dragonshard. By crushing the nut between thumb and forefinger, a character with the Mark of Handling may summon 1d3 dire squirrels (treat as dire rats, but without the disease ability) or a squirrel swarm (treat as a rat swarm, but without the disease ability). The summoned squirrels last for 5 rounds, after which they return from whence they came.

Faint Conjuration, CL 5th. Craft Wondrous Item, summon nature’s ally II. Cost 125 gp + 10 xp. Price 250 gp.

Argent Mine
These mines, iron disks studded with Siberys dragonshards, are used by House Kundarak for protecting items in cases where lethal force is needed. As a standard action, any character with the Mark of Warding within 60 ft. of the mine may detonate it. Upon being detonated, the mine explodes in a blast of force, dealing 5d4 points of force damage to all creatures within 20 ft. of it, with a DC 14 Reflex save for half damage.

Faint Abjuration, CL 5th. Craft Wondrous Item, explosive runes, creator must have the Mark of Warding. Cost 600 gp + 48 xp. Price 1,200 gp.

Artifex Brooch
An artifex brooch is a small pin, made of gold, with a Syberys dragonshard in its center. two small charms, resembling the Mark of Making, can be detached from the brooch, and will adhere immediately to the body of a construct they are touched to. As long as the wearer of the brooch has the Mark of Making, he is constantly aware of the location and state of the constructs, as the status spell. In addition, the wearer of the brooch can use repair spells or infusions on the charm-wearing constructs at a range of 30 ft., rather than touch.

Moderate Divination, CL 6th. Craft Wondrous Item, status, creator must have the Mark of Making. Cost 12,500 gp + 1,000 xp. Price 25,000 gp

Bed of Calming Rest
This bed is made of rich darkwood, with Siberys dragonshards embedded in its headboard. It provides a +5 competence bonus on all Heal checks made to tend to a character resting in it. In addition, three times per day, when a character with the Mark of Healing uses one of his mark’s abilities to heal damage to a character in the bed, the amount of damage healed is increased by 50%.

Bottled Snowfall
A popular toy amongst the children of House Lyrandar, a bottled snowfall appears at first to be a crystal flask holding nothing more than slightly cloudy water. However, when the vial is held by a character with the Mark of Storm, the liquid glows electric blue. When poured into water by a 'marked character, the elixer turns up to 10 gallons of water to a light, powdery snow. 8 lbs. of snow are created from every transformed gallon of water. The snow can last indefinantly in freezing temperature, and is resistant to the effects of heat - it persists for 2d6 hours in temperatures above freezing.

Faint Conjuration, CL 5th. Craft Wondrous Item, sleet storm, creator must have the Mark of Storm. Cost 12 gp + 1 xp. Price 25 gp.

Calling Card
These cards, upon being created, resemble a blank pasteboard card, covered in minuscule Siberys shards. However, as a standard action, a character with the Mark of Passage may touch the card to leave his personal imprint on it, leaving a blurry depiction of his face on the front of the card, along with his name. Once a card has been imprinted, no other character may imprint it. As a standard action, a character may tear an imprinted card in half to teleport the character who imprinted it to his side, as the greater teleport spell. If the character to be teleported is unwilling, the effect fails. He is informed that he has been called, and is given a mental image of the character that tore the card in half before he must choose whether to go or not.

Strong Conjuration, CL 13th. Craft Wondrous Item, greater teleport, creator must have the Mark of Passage. Cost 2,500 gp +200 xp. Price 5,000 gp.

Calmstone
An amulet made from a Siberys dragonshard embedded in a sphere of bluestone, calmstones are luxuries used by many members of House Lyrandar. Whenever a character with the Mark of Storm puts on the amulet, it creates an invisible field, which diverts in precipitation that would falll into it. A 'marked character wearing the stone is immune to the effects of rain, falling snow, and falling sleet. Hail is not affected by the calmstone, and the stone cannot effect snow, sleet, or similar that has already fallen to the ground.

Faint Evocation, CL 5th. Craft Wondrous Item, wind wall, creator must have the Mark of Storm. Cost 1,500 gp + 120 xp. Price 3,000 gp.

Cleansing Basket
These wicker baskets, which have Siberys dragonshards woven into them, are mainstays of Ghallanda inns. Whenever a character with the Mark of Hospitality places a garment into the basket, it is immediately cleaned and folded neatly.

Faint Transmutation, CL 5th. Craft Wondrous Item, prestidigitation, creator must have the Mark of Hospitality. Cost 75 gp + 6 xp. Price 150 gp.

Earring of Communication
An earring of communication is a platinum ring, studded with one to three small Siberys dragonshards. When worn by a character with the Mark of Scribing, it gives him the ability to speak, read, and understand up to three languages, determined at the time the earring was created.

Faint Divination, CL 5th. Craft Wondrous Item, tongues, creator must have the Mark of Scribing. Cost 1,000 gp + 80 xp (1 language), 1,500 gp + 120 xp (2 languages), 2,500 gp + 200 xp (3 languages). Price 2,000 gp (1 language), 3,000 gp (2 languages), 5,000 gp (3 languages).

Eldritch Compass
An eldritch compass resembles a normal compass, save that it has a slender Siberys dragonshard in place of a needle. When held by a character bearing the Mark of Detection, the needle points to the item or spell effect with the strongest magical aura within 60 ft. of its bearer. The compass automatically ignores auras originating from its bearer.

Faint Divination, CL 5th. Craft Wondrous Item, detect magic, creator must have the Mark of Detection. Cost 375 gp + 30 xp. Price 750 gp.

Eye of Fortune
These devices, which look like hand telescopes with lenses of Siberys dragonshards, can peer into extradimensional spaces, and are often used to insure the contents of a House Kundarak-kept vault are safe without going to the trouble of opening them. As a standard action, a character with the Mark of Warding may point the aurascope at any item containing an extradimensional space. If he does, he may see the interior of the space. Even if there is no light in the space, the user can still see everything perfectly, as if it were brightly lit. If an item contains multiple extradimensional spaces, such as a handy haversack or a belt of many pockets, the user may, as a swift action, adjust a dial on the side of the scope to change the view from one space to another.

Moderate Conjuration and Transmutation, CL 9th. Craft Wondrous Item, darkvision, secret chest, creator must have the Mark of Warding. Cost 3,000 gp + 240 xp. Price 6,000 gp.

Goggles of Discernment
These goggles, with lenses made of ground Siberys dragonshards, reveal the weaknesses of opponents. As a standard action, a character with the Mark of Detection wearing the goggles may examine an opponent. The wearer learns any weaknesses or protection it may have, including damage reduction, immunity to certain effects, vulnerability or resistance to certain energy types, or spell resistance. The goggles may be used up to three times per day.

Faint Divination, CL 7th. Craft Wondrous Item, arcane eye, creator must have the Mark of Detection. Cost 20,000 gp + 1,600 xp. Price 40,000 gp.

Mirror of Cloaking
These pendants, made of Siberys dragonshards polished to a mirror sheen, are used by agents of the Houses of Shadow to maintain cover. Whenever a divination spell would reveal information about a character with the Mark of Shadow wearing the talisman, such as his alignment, surface thoughts, or similar to its caster, it instead reveals the same information, but in regards to its caster–thus, a caster would perceive the wearer as being of the same alignment as he is, and having the same surface thoughts as he does. The caster does not receive any indication the information is not accurate.

Faint Illusion, CL 5th. Craft Wondrous Item, misdirection, creator must have the Mark of Shadow. Cost 6,000 gp + 480 xp. Price 12,000 gp.

Ring of Allies
Each ring of allies is attuned to a twin ring, both created at the same time. As long as the wearer of one ring of the pair has the Mark of Sentinel, the wearer of a ring gets a +4, rather than +2, when the wearer of his ring’s twin uses the aid another action. In addition, when the two ringbearers flank a creature, they get a +4, rather than +2, bonus on attack rolls.

Strong Divination, CL 12th. Forge Ring, telepathic bond, creator must have the Mark of Sentinel. Cost 6,000 gp + 480 xp (per pair). Price 12,000 gp (per pair).

Sailcloak
A well-made cloak with a Siberys dragonshard clasp, a sailcloak provides Lyrandar heirs the speed of wind. As a standard action, a character with the Mark of Storm wearing the cloak may unfold it into a pair of sail-like wings. While the wings are extended, the wearer gains an enhancement bonus to his base land speed based on the current wind strength, as below. The wearer may retract the wings as a swift action.

Faint Evocation, CL 5th. Craft Wondrous Item, gust of wind, creator must have the Mark of Storm. Cost 3,250 gp + 230 xp. Price 6,500 gp.

Seeker Mask
This thin, metallic mask, with a Siberys dragonshard embedded in its forhead, enhances its wearer’s locate creature power of his Mark of Finding. The range of the ability is tripled, to 1200 ft. + 120 ft./level. Whenever he uses the ability, he automatically learns the direction of the creature he seeks. In addition, he also gets a basic impression of the creature’s condition–whether it is at full health, partially wounded, disabled, or dying. In addition, running water and lead cannot block the effect.

Moderate Divination, CL 7th. Craft Wondrous Item, locate creature, creator must have the Mark of Finding. Cost 5,000 gp + 400 xp. Price 10,000 gp.

Sentinel Talisman
A sentinel talisman is made up of a small Siberys dragonshard enclosed in a sphere of electrum wire, used by Deneith heirs to protect both themselves and their charges. As a standard action, a character with the Mark of Sentinel may touch the talisman and expend a use of his dragonmark to charge it. The talisman remains charged for 24 hours or until discharged. Once charged, the wearer of the talisman–which need not be the same character who charged it–may take an immediate action to discharge the talisman, surrounding himself in a field of force that lasts until the beginning of his next round. The field grants him a deflection bonus to AC, the exact amount depending on the strength of dragonmark that was expended to charge the talisman.

Faint Abjuration, CL 5th. Craft Wondrous Item, shield or shield of faith, creator must have the Mark of Sentinel. Cost 4,000 gp + 640 xp. Price 8,000 gp.

Thundergrasp Gauntlets
These metallic gauntlets, with Siberys dragonshards embedded in the palms, crackle with static electricity. They are often used to repair airships or docking towers in dangerous weather. When wearing the gauntlets, a creature with the Mark of Storm may climb sheer surfaces, as the spider climb spell, as long as the surfaces are metallic.

Faint Evocation, CL 5th. Craft Wondrous Item, shocking grasp, creator must have the Mark of Storm. Cost 6,000 gp + 480 xp. Price 12,000 gp.

Thiefbane Vault
A thiefbane vault is a modified form of an adamantine voluminous vault, described in Sharn: City of Towers. It is generally considered to be the most secure way House Kundarak has of storing an item, though very few of them exist. In addition to the normal effects of a voluminous vault, the interior of a thiefbane vault constantly generates a repulsion effect. When the vault is closed, the repulsion effect is contained within it, but when opened, it immediately activates, effecting all creatures within 110 ft. of the vault. The save DC of the effect is 19. If a character with the Mark of Warding opens the vault, he may choose to deactivate the repulsion effect until the vault is closed. House Kundarak rents out thiefbane vaults for storage at a price of 1,000 gp per week, or 50,000 gp per year.

Strong Abjuration and Conjuration, CL 11th. Craft Wondrous Item, arcane seal, repulsion, secret chest, creator must have the Mark of Warding. Cost 75,000 gp + 6,000 xp. Price 150,000 gp.

Watcher in Shadow
A watcher in shadow is a small, darkened mirror with a number of Siberys shards embedded in its frame. Small spikes extending from its back allow it to be affixed to a wall or any similar surface. As a standard action, a character with the scrying or greater scrying power of the Mark of Shadow may expend a use of that power and touch the watcher to charge it. The watcher remains charged for 24 hours or until discharged. While charged, the watcher protects the area around it with an alarm effect. When the alarm is triggered, the watcher is discharged. In addition to the normal effect of the alarm spell, a scrying effect, targeted on the creature that activated the alarm, goes off, reporting information to the character that set the alarm. No save is allowed against the scrying effect.

Simple, Cheap, Effective. I like.

I agree about the Thundergrasp Gauntlets. I can only climb metallic surfaces, and I'm paying 15,000 for the ability? I think 9-12,000 is more appropriate.

Seems some what expensive, but nice none the less.I think I could take the price on them down a bit.


Pretty cool, But I could see a case for these to be used by House Deneith,Naw, finding out things is Medani's job - Deneith is just brute force and magical protection. However, I think if someone's smart, they'd be hiring protection from both houses.


Interesting, but seems a bit expensive.Okay, I'll reduce to 12k.

I love the Artifex brooch. I can slap them on Golems, and send them in to trigger fights, and know when to break into help.
