There's a homebrew I saw here once; it was a pdf. The author did a very interesting job and I want to steal get inspiration from steal many of his ideas.
In his system, you had skill points and two modifiers for every ability... for exemple, if my character's Strenght was 15, it would have a +2 bonus, a +5 modifier and 5 skill points I could spend on Jump, Climb and Swim.
Also, you could spend 2 skill points in each skill, tops... there were three levels of skill training: untrained, trained and expert (at least I think so). That's what was so nice about his system.
Has anyone seem this homebrew around lately?
