Alarra's Gems IV

[Alarra]

Alarra's Gems resides just down the street from Trog's. Inside, black velvet draped displays showcase dozens of dazzling loose gems, intricate rings, amulets, and earrings. Here and there is peppered slender crystal wands, and stones.

A sign claims that Alarra can craft anything your heart desires and specializes in magically enchanted amulets and rings.

A small woman, with long, curly dark hair, and bright green eyes, her nametag says Rhianne, stands behind the counter ready to sell premade pieces or take specifications for custom orders that Alarra will craft later.

(Do not ask how much things cost. Alarra has no idea. Whatever you pay her, as long as it seems remotely reasonable, is how much it costs.)

There is a doorway in the back of the room, leading to a stairway. Alarra and El Jaspero live here.

A leopard and lion tend to prowl around the displays, when they're not hanging off Trog's cat tree of course, discouraging any theft. Mik, Thecla, and a Tarrasque have taken up residence here as well. And two elven kids, Kint and Ala, are usually bouncing around here somewhere too...at least at the moment.

Shattered glass crunches as El Jaspero steps to Alarra's side. "My love..." he touches her arm carefully. "You're alright?"

[Alarra]

"I'm fine." she wraps her arms tightly around his neck. "And you? Are you alright?"

[El Jaspero, the Pirate King]

El J gives her a battered, sooty smile. "A bit knocked about, but I'll recover." He looks around the damaged shop. "I should..." he suddenly shivers. "I should do something about the front door." He kisses Alarra, then heads into the basement.

[Alarra]

Alarra continues to fix display cases and sweep up glass.

[El Jaspero, the Pirate King]

El Jaspero returns from the basement with a few planks and a hammer. He puts on a spare coat and rummages around outside for whatever of the previous door he can salvage, then sets to doing whatever repairs he can.

"Dnflgh," he says with his mouth full of nails. "Uogh mxdh veh sznbghfzz llzzhyty wzrks."

[Alarra]

Alarra finishes up fixing the display cases and moves to help El J with the door. "Don't worry, I'll fix it tomorrow."

A lifetime of piracy teaches a fellow to make quick and efficient, if not exactly beautiful repairs. With Alarra's help the house soon at least has a door, if not one that could be boasted about.

He sets down the hammer and turns to Alarra. "So...aren't you curious what they were?"

[Alarra]

"Of course." Alarra continues to straighten things.

[El Jaspero, the Pirate King]

El J picks up the debris of his coat and puts it in the garbage after making sure it's not still on fire and pulling the unharmed living rose from what was once his lapel. "Well, the usual drivel, Kyrian being an unworthy foe and all, but then something about his parents, that he's the son of a king and a goddess or some such."

He carefully removes a fine silver necklace from one of the light sconces. "It's not much to go on, but at least it's a start."

[Alarra]

Alarra considers this as she continues cleaning up.

Once the glass is swept up so the room's at least safe to walk through, Alarra and El Jaspero sigh and lean their brooms in the corner, then make their weary way upstairs. They help each other undress and get ready for bed; Alarra makes a tsk at the hacked, burned state of his hair as they share their ritual of combing. They climb into bed and, after a moment of shared thanks for their safety, are fast asleep in each other's arms.

Morning finds Alarra, El Jaspero, and Rhianne busily fixing, cleaning, and straightening the shop after last night's brawl. Cases are mended, floors are scrubbed, and throughout the day the store slowly returns to its prior orderly state.

the kender skips by the gem shop, happy. it stops. it turns slowly. it sees all of the metal....

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

it rushes in, heavy rod a-waving. the kender trips and falls, the heavy rod smashing into some of the glass cases. getting up and dusting itself off, the kender thinks to itself

well, as long as the metal is out of the case.......

the kender then amuses itself by touching the jewlery with the end of the rod. the metal is slowly absorbed, as if the rod was sucking up spaggetti. the gems were left, however.

the kender has absorbed most of the gold and silver with the rod. bored with this, it wanders off, dragging the rod behind it.

it leaves behind it a store with smashed glass and gems lying around everywhere

Hearing the smash of broken glass, Alarra comes out of her back office to see the shop once again in shambles. She sighs, wonders where Rhianne had gotten to to let this happen, and gets out a broom, again.

El Jaspero returns from the OmniShop with the new front door. Seeing the shattered glass and poor Alarra cleaning the shop for the second time in less than a day he shakes his head in wonder. What sort of miserable wretch would do this, anyway? He sighs and sets to hanging the new door.

the kender skips through. seeing the glass and wondering what happened and who would do such a thing, it tries to help

it pokes the pile of glass that had been swept up. rather than being absorbed, like the kender wanted, there was a flash of light. when the light vanished, the glass was once more in the shape of a case, ready and waiting to be put back on top of the display case

the kender stares at the rod with wonder

WHOA! that is SO COOL! i didnt know it could do that!!!!!

the kender hangs out, at least long enough that someone might ask a question and get an answer.

[Alarra]

Alarra smiles and picks up the newly reconstructed case to put it back. "Thanks. That's a neat thing you have there."

[McBish]

Lillah steps inside.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian enters and looks around.

[McBish]

So are you going to tell me why we are here?

[Kyrian]

Well, normally when proposed to, the guy has a ring to give....I figured we just get that now.

[McBish]

Isn't it traditional to suprise the girl with the ring?

[Kyrian]

Um....suprise?

[Alarra]

Alarra comes out of the backroom, "Kyrian, Lillah, hello...Can I help you find something?"

[McBish]

Lillah laughs and waves to Alarra.

[Kyrian]

We're looking for rings actually.

[Alarra]

"Well we do have a large selection of rings... She gestures at several displays, looking for something particular?"

[Kyrian]

Kyrian gives a big grin. Um....

[Alarra]

Alarra raises an eyebrow, "Are congratulations in order?"

[Kyrian]

I believe they might be...

[Admiral One]

Erdan walks in a begins looking at various gems displayed throughout the store.

[Alarra]

Alarra waves at Erdan, "I'll be with you in a minute!"

"Why that's wonderful, Kyrian!" she gives him a hug before leading the couple over to the display of engagement rings. "Just go ahead and take a look, let me know if there's anything you like. I could make a custom one for you too, if you'd rather."

She then turns back to Erdan, "Hi. Can I help you find something?"

[Kyrian]

Thanks Alarra.

The couple begin searching through the rings, where I'll leave them for the time being.

[Admiral One]

Erdan nods at Alarra.

"Yes, thank you. How good are you a working existing gems into amulets and such?"

((damn, that was fast, you came over much faster than I though, I'm still working on the amulet I want, lol))

[Alarra]

"Some might call it my specialty," she smiles. "What'd you have in mind?"

[McBish]

Lillah runs her hands over the rings. Trying to find one she likes.

[Admiral One]

He pulls out a small red gem with a strange symbol on it, hiding it within his cloak.

"I need this turned into an amulet. It is very valuable to me and...not exactly...supposed to be in my possesion. Nothing too illegal, but I need this to remain somewhat confidential. I hope I can trust you on this."

His voice is also somewhat lowered. Obviously.

[Kyrian]

This is what you want, right? I'm not rushing you into something, am I?

[McBish]

Lillah tries to nod and shake her head at the same time. This is what I want.

[Alarra]

Alarra raises an eyebrow "Nothing too illegal?" she shakes her head. "Does that imply, slightly illegal then?"

[Kyrian]

Kyrian holds her as she feels through the rings, tears of joy returning to his eyes. I love you so much.

[McBish]

Lillah smiles and continues looking/feeling over the rings.

[Kyrian]

If you have anything special in mind, Alarra can make it for you.

[McBish]

I... I haven't really thought about it. I'm not that good at desinging things.

[Kyrian]

It's ok, I want you to find the ring that you want.

[Admiral One]

Erdan grins.

"Well, yes. But I don't consider stealing from pure evil to be a bad thing."

((he's true neutral, by the way, but he worships st. cuthbert))

Jesion pads in and sneaks up behind Kyrian. She bites him on the ankle.

El Jaspero emerges from the back room. He brushes Alarra's shoulder and smiles, then heads over to Kyrian and Lillah.

"Ahoy there, Prince Kyrian." He winks. "How's the Town's newest royalty today?"

[Kyrian]

Ow! Jesion, what was that for? Doing very well today Jas...yourself? Kyrian gives a big grin.

Jesion smiles and sits down next to Kyrian.

[Alarra]

Alarra shakes her head, "I'm sorry, but I can't work with stolen gems, be they taken from evil or no. Amiria does some jewelry work as well, if you'd prefer to take this to her." Alarra smiles, looking apologetic.

[El Jaspero, the Pirate King]

El picks a shard of glass out of his new coat, but smiles as he looks at Alarra; the living rose in his lapel shines crimson, flecked with pink. "Nothing a broom couldn't solve...twice...and it sounds like Janae is running the Liza through her paces again."

The windows rattle to the distant report of cannonfire in the bay.

Lillah gives Kyrian an odd look at the mention of royalty.

[Kyrian]

It's something Tejin said as he died last night. Something about me being the son of a king and goddess.

[Alarra]

(Likely so, there is a decidedly celtic bent to much of the jewelry.)

[Admiral One]

Erdan looks surprised.

Good move, Erdan. You should know better than that by now.

"Oh. Um, alright. How could I find Amiria?"

[El Jaspero, the Pirate King]

El Jaspero grins at Kyrian. "Just think...castles, hunting lodges, servants at your command. The life of luxury. You've earned it at least."

[McBish]

Lillah finds a ring and holds it up showing it to Kyrian, What do you think?

El J chuckles and touches Lillah's arm gently. "Sounds like you'll have more than you could deal with. I mean, think about it...sounds like the father's the poorer of the two."

[Kyrian]

Alarra, I believe we've found the right one. How do you figure that one, Jas?

[Admiral One]

Erdan smiles, but he still looks a bit disapointed.

"Ah, it's alright. I understand. Once this is done, I can put all that scum behind me. Although I did say that a few days ago to Lillah. Well, thank you for your help anyhow."

He walks out the door.

[McBish]

To El J Yeah but I think I am soon going to get to know a lot more gods and goddess.

[Alarra]

Alarra hurries over to look, "Oh, that's beautiful."
She takes it and carefully wraps it up for them.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian takes out a small pouch, full of platinum, and hands it over to Alarra as payment.

[McBish]

Lillah beams at everything, probably because she is very, very happy.

[Kyrian]

Do you want to tell them?

[McBish]

You tell them.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian grins. Jas, Jesion....I've got some great news.

[Alarra]

El J grins, "Better news than being royalty?"

[McBish]

Lillah smiles as she takes Kyrian's arm.

Jesion shows Kyrian her teeth

[Kyrian]

Kyrian debates moving away from Jesion before speaking, but doesn't. Lillah and I, are getting married.

Jesion starts to wash her paws.

[Kyrian]

You're going to bite me later, aren't you Jesion?

[Alarra]

El J laughs, "Well I assumed as much, considering you're looking in the engagement ring case." he grins. "But congratulations both of you."
And while he smiles, there's a flash of doubt in his eyes as he thinks of Ceika.

Alarra straightens the rings in the case they were looking in.

Jesion grins up at Kyrian, Of course

[Kyrian]

Where would you like to go now, Lillah?

[McBish]

I think home sounds good. And thank you Alarra and El J.

[Kyrian]

Yes, thank you both. Let's go home. Jesion, you coming? Kyrian goes and opens the door for Lillah.

[McBish]

Lillah steps outside.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian follows.

Jesion smiles at Kyrian and vanishes in the shadows.

[Alarra]

Rhianne comes running breathless into the shop, "Sorry....I....things....I didn't mean to leave earlier." she seems rather out of breath.

"Don't worry, nothing of value was taken, just a couple cases knocked over. But you'll stay and watch things the rest of the night now?" Alarra still looks a bit concerned.

"Of course! And I'll finish sorting all the loose gems and cleaning the glass and....."

Alarra laughs and interrupts her, "I'm sure the shop will look spotless."

She smiles at El J, "Well, since she's here now.....Shall we?"

He takes her hand and they head upstairs.

[El Jaspero, the Pirate King]

El Jaspero rattles down the stairs followed by the music of Alarra's giggle. He gives Rhianne a wink then heads back into the office. After a moment of rummaging noises he charges back upstairs, his arms laden with sheets of paper, bottles of ink, and quills.

The door pops open and El Jaspero returns with two thermoses, several folios of maps, pens, ink and paper, and a brown paper bag. He shucks off his boots in the hall and runs upstairs with a smile on his face, singing as he goes:

"The snow is snowing and the wind is blowing, but I can weather the storm;
What do I care how much it may storm? I've got my love to keep me warm.
I can't remember a worse December, just watch those icicles form.
What do I care if icicles form? I've got my love to keep me warm.

"Off with my overcoat, off with my glove,
I need no overcoat, I'm burning with love!

"My heart's on fire, the flame grows higher, so I will weather the storm;
What do I care how much it may storm? I've got my love to keep me warm..."

[Admiral One]

Erdan walks in, clothed in elegant robes, and looks around.

[El Jaspero, the Pirate King]

Rhianne appears from the back room. Yes, may I help you?

[androgial]

Yaltrik walks in with a very very large sack, in fact he appears to have been dragging it all the way from the mines.
" ho rhianne. i hit a good pocket of diamonds for alarra to look at."
the very large sack holds nothing but diamonds.......thousands of diamonds.

[Alarra]

Rhianne looks a bit in awe at the large quantity of diamonds, but outlines the general prices Alarra gives for diamonds.

thanks kitten. tell alarra and el jaspero not to be strangers eh. my mine is open now but im still the only one out there besides frik and frak. frik handles the incoming orders and frak handles the outgoing supply. it would be better if the dwarven construction crew hadnt gone and left for a month long celebration, but hey im just a kobold whats it matter to everyone if my business suffers.

yaltrik leaves a bit down hearted obviously heading back out to his mines.

El Jaspero blinks awake in the morning cold, smiling as Alarra instictively snuggles closer to him. He puts an arm around her and kisses her softly, smiling in the darkness. My love, my darling...soon. He sits in bed, holding her close and making plans.

[Alarra]

Alarra cuddles against him late into the morning, being very content right where she is.

the kender appears in the shop.

the rod demands MORE JELWERY!!!!

the kender goes on a rampage, absorbing all of the metal in the shop. silver, gold, pewter, the metal lining on the cases, the chandelier. all of it is currently falling victime to the kender

and the kender finishes its deeds. the NPC's notices the noise and stop playing Parks & Politicians long enough to poke their heads out. all metal is gone, and the kender is heard giggling as it runs off

Rhianne comes out of the back room where she was reorganizing some inventory and looks around at the shop in shambles. She stands around in shocked silence. Of course....Alarra would take off sailing and then this would happen. She sighs and starts cleaning up again.

Thecla and Mik 'port back into the shop. She looks around and wonders what happened and reminds herself to ask Rhianne in the morning.

[Mik]

Mik goes over to their corner and curls up.

[wxdruid]

Thecla follows him over and crawls under one of his front legs to get comfortable.

[Mik]

G'night my cutie... Mik's tail wags slightly.

Thecla peeks her nose out and promptly cuddles up closer to Mik

Thecla wakes up restless and hungry, she crawls out, trying not to wake up Mik. She leaves the shop.

[Mik]

Mik wakes up and looks around. With a small sigh, he gets up and shifts to hybrid. He goes out to the kitchen and begins to cook a couple of steaks, in case Thecla comes back soon. As he sets the steaks on the oven, the front door's bell rings. Curious, Mik goes back out to the store front.

A cloaked man looks up as Mik enters. From under the hood, he gives an evil grin.

I'm looking for a friend, could you perhaps help me?

....depends....who?

Do you know a man named Kyrian?

Yea, he's ok.

Without warning, the man rushes Mik, and sends a sword straight through the hybrid's heart. Mik falls to the floor, the light already fading from his eyes. The cloaked man gives a laugh and leaves, as the blood pools out from Mik's wound.

Thecla 'ports back in and the smell of steak and the smell of death intermingle in the air. She looks around and spots Mik and goes over to him. She shifts to hound archon and quickly checks him over.

[Mik]

He's dead, and it was recent.

[wxdruid]

Thecla nudges him and licks his cheek. She points her nose to the sky and howls.

[Mik]

The body lays there.

[wxdruid]

Thecla pulls him over and 'ports out

[Mik]

Mik returns to the shop, alone. He curls up in the corner and cries himself to sleep.

[Mik]

Mik wakes up, haunted by nightmares. He gets up and leaves the shop.

[Mik]

Mik 'ports into the shop and sniffs around, just trying to keep Thecla's smell. He curls up in their corner, facing the door.

Thecla returns to the shop, her tail down. She comes over to Mik, sniffs him and wonders why is he wearing a necklace? She curls up near him and goes back to sleep.

[Mik]

Mik shifts slightly as he feels Thecla's weight against him.

[wxdruid]

Thecla wakes up and goes around to check the corners, windows and door.

[Mik]

Mik wakes up, and seeing Thecla moving, he sits up and shifts to hybrid form. The chain stays around his neck, but the ring is now hidden under his shirt.

Thecla comes back to him and tries to crawl in his lap.

[Mik]

Why'd you run off?

[wxdruid]

Thecla looks down, I was upset, I was mad, I felt... She gets back up and paces in a circle.

[Mik]

Felt what?

[wxdruid]

She stops and looks at him, Frustrated, that's it, I was very frustrated

[Mik]

Frustrated? Why? Mik looks at Thecla with sadness in his eyes.

Thecla lies down on the floor and flattens herself as far as she can. She covers her muzzle with her paws, because you died and I wasn't here

[Mik]

Thecla...I don't blame you...

I do Thecla covers her eyes with her paws.

Please don't, cutie...

Thecla closes her eyes and sobs.

[Mik]

Mik slowly strokes Thecla's back. It's ok, I still love you.

Thecla creeps into his lap.

[Mik]

Mik wraps his arms around Thecla's neck, licks her cheek.

[wxdruid]

Her tail starts to wag and she puts her muzzle on his shoulder.

[Mik]

Mik starts petting Thecla. It's ok...

She licks his cheek and wags her tail.

[Mik]

I love you cutie, no matter what.

Thecla sighs and tries to knock him over while she licks him

[Mik]

Mik falls over and laughs.

[wxdruid]

Thecla giggles and gives him slobbery wolf kisses.

[Mik]

Mik wraps his arms around the wolf and attempts to give her slobbery wolf kisses as well.

[wxdruid]

Thecla playfully tries to turn it into a wrestling match.

[Mik]

Mik gives a grin and attempts to pin Thecla.

[wxdruid]

Thecla nips at him as she struggles to escape.

[Mik]

Mik grins and playfully nips back at her.

[wxdruid]

Thecla changes tactics and tries to tickle him

[Mik]

Mik tries to hold strong against the wolf, but her cold nose against his neck is just too much for him and he rolls over laughing.

Thecla giggles and tickles him more

[Mik]

Mik finally rolls away. You hungry?

[wxdruid]

Thecla grins and her tongue lolls out, Oh yes, hungry to tickle you.

[Mik]

Mik stands up and laughs. Well, you'll have to catch me first.

Thecla leaps for him

[Mik]

Mik 'ports into their corner, still standing.

[wxdruid]

Thecla tilts her head to the side as she slides to a halt. She turns back to look at him with a questioning look.

[Mik]

Mik laughs as he pulls the ring out. Magic item. I had it made.

[wxdruid]

Now I know you are silly

[Mik]

Just evening the odds...

[wxdruid]

Thecla laughs and goes over to him, putting her front paws up on his chest.

[Mik]

I love you cutie. Mik smiles at her.

I love you too, Mik. Dinner?

[Mik]

Sure, how's steak sound?

[wxdruid]

mmmm, steak and bamhacon?

[Mik]

Mik ruffles Thecla's ears, and smiles at her. Sounds good.

Thecla wags her tail and gets back down, she goes towards the kitchen.

[Mik]

Mik follows her, and sees that there's a mess from the two steaks he'd started cooking last night.

Oh crap!

Thecla looks up at him I don't think it quite fits that description.

[Mik]

Mik laughs and cleans up the mess, before cooking the steaks and bamhacon.

Thecla sits down by his leg and leans against him while he cooks.

[Mik]

Mik looks down at Thecla with a smile, as he puts the food on plates. And how would my cutie like to eat tonight?

Thecla changes to hound archon and puts one arm around Mik's waist, That answer your question?

[Mik]

Mik smiles as he hugs Thecla.

She looks down at the plates and picks one up. She takes it and some silverware over to the table, she sits in one chair, waiting for Mik.

Mik takes some silverware and the other plate over to the table and sits across from Thecla.

[wxdruid]

She lightly kicks her feet under the table as she smiles at him before digging into her tasty dinner.

[Mik]

Mik smiles back at her and starts into his.

[wxdruid]

Thecla finishes and licks her muzzle clean, she gets up and goes over to wash her plate. Thank you Mik, that was very tasty.

[Mik]

Mik finishes and gets up, taking his plate over to help Thecla. You're welcome cutie.

She steals his plate from him and cleans it.

[Mik]

Mik wraps his arms around Thecla's waist and lays his head on her shoulder.

Now what silly?

[Mik]

I don't know. Personally I just want to hold you in my arms and never let go. What would you like to do?

Thecla giggles, I don't know

[Mik]

Mik laughs and rubs his cheek against Thecla's.

Thecla leans back against him

[Mik]

Mik slowly rocks a bit, enjoying the feeling of Thecla in his arms.

She enjoys the feeling and starts to pull him over to their spot. She wants the blankets.

[Mik]

Mik smiles and sits down on the floor.

[wxdruid]

Thecla sits down in front of him and leans back against him, pulling the blankets around them.

[Mik]

Comfortable, Thecla?

Yes, very. I'm sorry I was mad at you.

[Mik]

It's ok Thecla.

[wxdruid]

Thecla smiles and snuggles closer.

[Mik]

Mik holds his arms around Thecla and smiles at her. I like this. It's really comfortable.

You are comfortable to lean against. She closes her eyes.

Mik smiles and closes his eyes as well.

Verdandi steps inside and smiles at Rhianne.

Iames steps inside behind her. Hello. Any trouble to report?

Nothing recent. Rhianne smiles warmly at the couple, making Verdandi somwhat self-concious. She clings a little closer to Iames, and smiles timidly back.

Verdandi blushes very slightly. I really don't wear much jewelry.

Iames smiles at her. There's nothing wrong with that, but you didn't answer my question.

Rhianne turns back to the couple, "Actually, I do have some trouble to report. Someone's made a mess of the shop, twice. This last time they took all of the metal out of the cases and settings and even the light fixtures."

Iames smiles. I need to talk with Rhianne for a minute. Go ahead and browse, and if you see anything you like, show me.

Turning to Rhianne, Iames says, Oh, yes. The little fellow with the rod? He's been apprehended and I can assure you that the incident will not be repeated. You do, of course, have the option of pressing charges against him.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi looks concerned, but nods and browses.

[Alarra]

"Oh...he's been apprehended? That's good. The rod....it puts things back as well, yes? I don't want to press charges per say...I mean really, it'd be best if I could just get all the metal back and have Alarra never find out anything even happened." she smiles. "Is that possible?"

[Lord Iames Osari]

Iames winces. Unfortunately, I fed the rod into a sphere of annihilation. I've heard that gods can restore things so destroyed, but I've never tried before, and I might screw it up.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi pauses as she sees a number of rings that perfectly match her eyes.

[Alarra]

"Oh....well....I'm sure Alarra won't be that upset, It's clear Rhianne thinks Alarra really will be very upset, and I'm sure there's someone around that can fix it.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Well, I suppose I could try. Iames concentrates.

[Alarra]

Rhianne watches expectantly, hoping very much that it works.

[Lord Iames Osari]

The rod slowly materializes in Iames's hand, and he looks at it, then at Rhianne. He offers it to her.

Verdandi smiles and wonders if any of the rings would fit.

[Alarra]

Rhianne takes it carefully, "I don't. Umm...how does this work then?" She looks it over.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Iames shrugs. Actually, now that I think of it, it would probably be best if I took that back. The little fellow was driven mad by it, and I wouldn't want anything similar to happen to anyone else.

Verdandi moves on to another display case.

[Alarra]

"Ooooh, but it looks so fun! Couldn't I play with it just a little first?"

[Lord Iames Osari]

I definitely need to take that back. Iames puts a slight psionic edge behind the words and extends a hand.

Verdandi looks up, almost affected by Iames's words.

[Alarra]

Rhianne gives the rod a couple of taps to see if it does anything before handing it to Iames.

Iames accepts the rod with a smile. Thank you. He examines it, then closes his eyes. Opening them again after a moment, he says, I think I can use it now. What needs to be done?

[Alarra]

"Oh, well, um..." she gestures at the cases which are haphazardly being held together with wooden boards and the like. "All these had metal fixtures and edges and all the gems had settings and umm..." she looks around looking for other obvious things, there's clearly a fair bit of things that are still a mess.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi waits for Iames to finish.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Right. Iames raises the rod and the various metal fixings flow out of the rod like liquid to their proper places. That everything?

[Alarra]

Rhianne stares at the rod in amazement, "That was......sooooooo coooool....Are you sure I can't have it?"

[AmberVael]

Verdandi starts as the case she was looking at regains a large amount of jewelry and metal.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Yes, I'm certain. After I'm done undoing what it's done, I'm going to destroy it again. Is there anything else that the rod absorbed?

[Alarra]

Rhianne gives a pouty look, "No....that was all. Thanks." She turns toward Vera, "Find something you like?"

[Lord Iames Osari]

Iames secretes the rod somewhere inside his cloak and turns to Vera as well, smiling.

[AmberVael]

Well- there was- no, not really.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Are you sure?

[AmberVael]

Verdandi casts a glance at the case she had lingered at longest, then nods to Iames.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Iames notes her gaze, but accepts her answer. Alright. Shall we go then?

[AmberVael]

We probably should.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Iames opens the door for her, nodding a good night to Rhianne.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi ruffles her wings and goes outside.

Iames follows her out.

Thecla peeks her nose out of the blankets, (sometime in the past day she switched back to wolf)

[Mik]

Mik, having switched back as well, opens an eye and licks Thecla's cheek.

She turns back to him, giggles and tries to burrow underneath him.

[Mik]

Mik smiles as his silly cutie burrows under him.

All he can see of Thecla is her wagging tail.

[Mik]

Are you comfortable, cutie?

Well, I'm warm, you?

[Mik]

I'm warm too. Mik's tail wags slightly.

She crawls and sticks her nose out under his chin and licks him.

[Mik]

Mik sighs happily. I love you.

Mik laughs.

Thecla giggles and crawls out from under him, she playfully jumps on him.
