Thrall of Dwiergus

Of Dwiergus the Chrysalis Prince, little is spoken, for he is a reclusive and ancient being and hides in the deep recesses of the Abyss. An obyrith lord, ancient Dwiergus is a master shaper of flesh and crafter of the various forms of demonkind. Few know his name and fewer still do him homage, for the Chrysalis Prince is a singleminded entity who cares little for followers and offers no certain fate but eventual annexation into his amorphous and maddening form.

The obyrith lord has one objective, it is said: to turn all life into demonkind. In pursuit of this goal, Dwiergus very rarely takes servitors who can spread the twisting of form and propagate chaos and the repudiation of nature. These rare thralls attract the Fleshforger's interest through the touch of true evil and corruption, and are gifted with a warped and horrid form and the ability to share the "gifts" of Dwiergus' transforming touch.

Requirements
To qualify to become a thrall of Dwiergus, a character must fulfill all of the following criteria:

Alignment Chaotic evil
Skills Knowledge (Arcana) 10 ranks, Spellcraft 10 ranks
Feats Thrall to Demon, Willing Deformity
Spells Must be able to cast at least five different spells with the [Evil] descriptor.
Special Must have been subjected to the effects of a Corrupt spell (whether of your own agency or that of another).

Hit Die d8
Class Skills The Thrall of Dwiergus' class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are Balance (Dex), Concentration (Con), Craft (Int), Intimidate (Cha), Knowledge (arcana) (Int), Profession (Wis), Spellcraft (Int), and Tumble (Dex).
Skill Points at Each Level 2 + Int modifier.

Class Features
All of the following are class features of the thrall of Dwiergus prestige class.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency Thralls of Dwiergus gain no additional proficiency in any weapon or armor.

Spells Per Day At 2nd level and each level thereafter, the thrall of Dwiergus gains new spells per day (and spells known, if applicable) as if he had also gained a level in whatever spellcasting class in which he could cast five or more spells with the [Evil] descriptor before adding the prestige class level. He does not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained. If the character had more than one spellcasting class in which he could cast five or more spells with the [Evil] descriptor before he became a thrall of Dwiergus, he must decide to which class he adds each level of thrall of Dwiergus for the purpose of determining spells per day.

Abominable Form Newly-made thralls of Dwiergus receive the blessing of the Chrysalis Prince, taking on a twisted form much like their own, only made horrid and terrifying in the sight of lesser beings. A 1st level thrall of Dwiergus gains the Abominable Form feat, and can use the better of his Constitution modifier or Charisma modifier when determining the duration of the shaken condition it applies.

Awe of Madness (Ex) Thralls to obyrith lords do not suffer the normal effects of an obyrith's form of madness ability. What others see as logic-defying, horrifying or otherwise mindbending, these thralls perceive as the great and wondrous light of the sinister truth at the heart of creation. Whenever a thrall of Dwiergus would be exposed to an obyrith's form of madness ability, he instead gains a +2 insight bonus to attack rolls, damage rolls, skill checks and saving throws for 1 hour, during which time he is not affected again by the same obyrith. An obyrith may spend a swift action to force a thrall of Dwiergus to save against the normal effects of its form of madness, though the thrall benefits from his insight bonus on the saving throw even if it came from the same obyrith.

An important aside: Pale Night does not have a form of madness. Thralls of Dwiergus have no special protection from her truth beyond the veil ability and their awe of madness ability does not apply to it.

Oath of Fleshforging (Su) Dwiergus extends certain protections to his thralls in tandem with their new deformities. No mortal magic can permanently affect or fix a thrall of Dwiergus's form. Effects such as polymorphing or petrification force the thrall of Dwiergus into a new shape, but at the start of his next turn he immediately returns to his mutable form as a free action. In addition, when casting a corrupt spell, the thrall of Dwiergus reduces ability damage or ability drain from the spell's corruption cost by 1, to a minimum of 1. Lastly, for each deformity feat a creature has, it takes a cumulative -1 profane penalty to saving throws against your spells and spell-like abilities.

Additional Deformity (Ex) At 2nd level and each level thereafter, the thrall of Dwiergus can select a bonus deformity feat for which he meets the prerequisites. Once every hour as a full-round action, the thrall of Dwiergus can exchange any number of his deformity feats for other deformity feats for which he meets the prerequisites, provided he retains Abominable Form and does not have both Deformity (gaunt) and Deformity (obese) simultaneously. Willing Deformity is not a deformity feat and cannot be exchanged.

Deforming Gift (Su) Beginning at 2nd level, the thrall of Dwiergus can share the blessing of dark transformation with others. As a standard action, the thrall of Dwiergus can grant a deformity feat to another creature within 30 feet to whom he has line of sight and line of effect, even if that creature does not meet the prerequisites. This feat lasts for as long as the thrall of Dwiergus wishes, though he cannot sustain more gifts than he has levels in this class. The thrall of Dwiergus can grant multiple deformity feats to the same creature or share them out among many. He may even gift another creature deformity feats which he does not himself possess or provide one creature with both Deformity (gaunt) and Deformity (obese). A creature unwilling to receive the deforming gift may make a Fortitude save (DC 10 + thrall of Dwiergus' character level + thrall of Dwiergus' Cha modifier) to resist deformation. A successful save prevents a new deformation attempt against that creature for 24 hours, though current deformations remain.

A creature with five deformity feats received in this way must make a Fortitude save at the start of each day (DC 20 + 1 per day) or lose each of those feats and transform into a chaos beast permanently. Only wish or miracle can reverse this transformation. A deformity feat given in this fashion can be removed via remove curse or restoration with a successful caster level check against DC 10 + thrall of Dwiergus' class level + thrall of Dwiergus' Cha modifier. Greater restoration removes all deformity feats given through this ability without requiring a caster level check.

Creatures immune to polymorph and similar transformation effects cannot be affected by this ability.

Corporeal Instability (Sp) At 3rd level, a thrall of Dwiergus is capable of channeling the touch of the Chrysalis Prince. Once per day, he may use corporeal instabilityPlH as a caster of his character level. The save DC is Charisma-based. At 5th level, the thrall of Dwiergus may use this ability a second time each day.

Malign Spell Focus At 4th level, the thrall of Dwiergus gains the Malign Spell FocusBoVD feat.

Cocoon (Su) At 5th level, the thrall of Dwiergus can bestow the Chrysalis Prince's ultimate gift upon one whose flesh has already begun the sculpting process. Upon gifting a creature with its fifth deformity feat (counting any deformity feats it has obtained on its own or from other thralls of Dwiergus), the thrall of Dwiergus may offer it the chance to be transformed into a demon. This ability functions as the temptation effect of the atonement spell, requiring the subject to remain present for 1 hour as the thrall of Dwiergus enrobes it in a cocoon of the Chrysalis Prince's silk and slime. When the cocoon is complete, the subject may choose whether or not to transform into a demon. No duress, compulsion, or magical influence can force the subject to take advantage of the opportunity offered if it is unwilling to transform. If the subject decides to transform, it enters a comatose state for a further 1d4 hours as the cocoon fuses with it. During this time, a wish or miracle can rupture the cocoon and restore the subject to normal. At the end of this period, the subject loses all deformity feats and permanently transforms into a tanar'ri of a type whose CR is no more than half the subject's prior HD plus its Charisma modifier (rounded up). The subject is a standard member of that tanar'ri species with only a vague memory of the creature it once was. A creature that interrupts the forming of the cocoon or refuses to transform once the cocoon is complete is freed from this ability and must immediately make a saving throw to avoid transforming into a chaos beast if it has five or more deformity feats given to it through the deforming gift ability.

Deformity Feats
Deformity feats represent some horrid twisting of the body's natural state that result in abberant, extraordinary abilities at the cost of becoming misshapen and warped. These feats have appeared in multiple sources, but only in Elder Evils were any specifically classified as deformity feats. The following are all feats with the [Deformity] descriptor for the purpose of a thrall of Dwiergus. Special notes are provided for certain feats below.

{table=head]Feat|Source|Notes

Unlisted feats that have Willing Deformity as a prerequisite are considered deformity feats for the purposes of this class.

Hollow Hunger
This horrid disease is a result of the unnatural fusion of deforming gauntness and deforming obesity. The unfortunate victim's flesh slackens as muscle atrophies and fat remains, weighing down limbs and causing skin to hang loose and low off the bone. Even as the victim's ribs show plainly through thinned skin, its gut spills out profusely as though unchecked by natural restraints.

Infection Special. Hollow hunger is a disease obtained through possessing both the Deformity (gaunt) and Deformity (obese) feats simultaneously.
DC 20
Incubation 1d6 days
Damage 2d4 Str*, 1d6 Dex*, 1d4 Con, 1d6 Cha

Hollow hunger comes on slowly, beginning with the horrid rosy pallor of the flesh, which grows an unhealthy pink where it is heaviest and is almost bleach-white where it droops. Muscle visibly shrinks and softens, and the bones of the limbs become more and more visible as flesh slips from its moorings. The afflicted becomes consumed with a terrible hunger, as though a cavernous void within the victim requires filling. A victim of hollow hunger who fails to eat at least four times the normal amount of food on a given day suffers an additional 1 point of Constitution damage. The sufferer is always treated as though starving (it must make a Constitution check each day (DC 10, +1 for each previous check) or take 1d6 points of nonlethal damage). Successful saves do not allow the character to recover; only the removal of one or both deformity feats will end the affliction.

*When damaged, the character must succeed at a second saving throw or 1 point of temporary damage is permanent drain instead.

Thrall of Ugudenk

Old and unknowable, dread Ugudenk is the vast and some say infinite lord of the 177th layer of the Abyss. A lesser-known obyrith, the Squirming King has no known agenda save intruding into other layers and other planes to selectively devour things and then depart. So little rhyme or reason exists to the immortal demon's feeding pattern that some claim Ugudenk is nothing more than a feeding tendril of the Abyss itself. So alien a creature has no use for worshipers or followers unless they plan to become its next snack.

Those few mad souls captivated by Ugudenk's raw antediluvian power may seek to channel a mote of the demonic force and might that the Squirming King represents. Some just want to call down the devouring demon lord against a thing they despise, but a rare few look to the silent earth as the cradle that awaits the birthing of the maw that consumes, and these deranged individuals wish to participate in the triumph of the cthonic over that which exists under the light of the sun.

Requirements
To qualify to become a thrall of Ugudenk, a character must fulfill all of the following criteria:

Alignment Chaotic evil
Base Attack +5
Skills Balance 5 ranks, Climb 10 ranks, Disguise 5 ranks
Feats Thrall to Demon, Willing Deformity
Special Must have experienced being swallowed whole.

Hit Die d12
Class Skills The thrall of Ugudenk's class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are Balance (Dex), Climb (Str), Concentration (Con), Craft (Int), Disguise (Cha), Escape Artist (Dex), Intimidate (Cha), Knowledge (the planes) (Int), Move Silently (Dex), Profession (Wis), and Survival (Wis).
Skill Points at Each Level 4 + Int modifier.

Class Features
All of the following are class features of the thrall of Ugudenk prestige class.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency Thralls of Ugudenk gain no additional proficiency in any weapon or armor.

Whenever a thrall of Ugudenk would be exposed to an obyrith's form of madness ability, he instead gains a +2 insight bonus to attack rolls, damage rolls, skill checks and saving throws for 1 hour, during which time he is not affected again by the same obyrith. An obyrith may spend a swift action to force a thrall of Ugudenk to save against the normal effects of its form of madness, though the thrall benefits from his insight bonus on the saving throw even if it came from the same obyrith.

Deformity (parasite) At 1st level, a thrall of Ugudenk gains the Deformity (parasite)EE feat.

Stability (Ex) A thrall of Ugudenk is firmly rooted to the earth where he stands and will not be dislodged. He gains a +4 bonus on ability checks made to resist being bull rushed or tripped when standing on the ground (but not when climbing, flying, riding, or otherwise not standing firmly on the ground).

Tremorsense (Ex) A thrall of Ugudenk automatically senses the location of anything that is in contact with the ground within 30 feet. If he is aquatic, he can also sense the location of creatures moving through water. If no straight path exists through the ground from the thrall of Ugudenk to those that he's sensing, then 30 feet is the maximum distance of the shortest indirect path. The thrall of Ugudenk must himself be in contact with the ground, and the creatures must be moving. As long as the other creatures are taking physical actions, including casting spells with somatic components, they're considered moving; they don't have to move from place to place for the thrall of Ugudenk to detect them. At 5th level, the range of this ability increases to 60 feet.

Corrosive Spit (Su) Beginning at 2nd level, the thrall of Ugudenk secretes the acidic bile of his master, which he can collect in his mouth to spit at foes. A number of times per day equal to his Constitution modifier (minimum 1), the thrall of Ugudenk can spit a line of acid 5 feet wide with a length of 10 feet plus a further 10 feet per level of this class he possesses. This line deals 2d4 acid damage per level of this class the thrall of Ugudenk possesses and knocks prone all creatures caught within. A Reflex save (DC 10 + 1/2 the thrall of Ugudenk's HD + Con modifier) halves the damage and negates the prone condition.

Earthen Link (Ex) At 2nd level, the thrall of Ugudenk begins to forge a strange and alien link with the ground. His Constitution score permanently increases by 2 points, and he gains the Earth Mastery ability:

Earth Mastery (Ex) The thrall of Ugudenk gains a +2 bonus on attack and damage rolls if both it and its foe are touching the ground.

Swallow Whole (Su) By 3rd level, a supernatural corruption has taken root within the thrall of Ugudenk. By distending his jaw to a grotesque and impossible length, he can expose a dank and cavernous rift to some concealed extradimensional space into which he can "swallow" his enemies. The thrall of Ugudenk can attempt to "swallow" a held enemy by making a grapple check. If it succeeds, the enemy takes damage as from the natural weapon used to start the hold (usually an unarmed strike) and is pulled inside as the thrall of Ugudenk's jaw snaps shut. Once inside, the opponent takes 2d8+12 points of crushing damage plus 8 points of acid damage per round from the extradimensional space. A "swallowed" creature can cut its way out by using a light slashing or piercing weapon to deal 25 points of damage to the walls of the space (AC 17). Once the creature exits, some alien property of the space seals the hole; another swallowed opponent must cut its own way out. The thrall can contain a number of opponents simultaneously based upon his size:

{table=head]Thrall's Size|<D|T|S|M|L|H
Diminutive|2|-|-|-|-|-
Tiny|8|2|-|-|-|-
Small|32|8|2|-|-|-
Medium|128|32|8|2|-|-
Large|512|128|32|8|2|-
Huge or greater|512|512|128|32|8|2[/table]

Walk Without Rhythm (Ex) A 3rd level thrall of Ugudenk has mastered tremorsense to the point where he understands how to move without triggering it. His Dexterity score permanently increases by 2 points and he cannot be perceived through tremorsense by any means, rendering him effectively invisible to creatures with no other ability to detect him.

Too Much To Swallow (Su) A 4th level thrall of Ugudenk has a singular and disturbing quality: whenever something attempts to swallow him whole, a flash of something long, white and abominable is seen peeling away from the attacker's jaws and the thrall of Ugudenk remains where he stood, looking only mildly the worse for wear. His Constitution score permanently increases by 2 points*, and whenever a creature attempts to use the swallow whole ability against him, the thrall of Ugudenk instead drops into a square adjacent to his attacker and takes 1d8 damage per size category larger the attacker is. If this ability is suppressed (as by an antimagic field) and the thrall of Ugudenk is successfully swallowed whole, he bursts out into an adjacent square as soon as the suppression ends, dealing 10d6 damage to the creature that swallowed him. This ability fails against Ugudenk himself, whose swallow whole ability completely invalidates this protection and associated effects.

Unquiet Earth (Ex) At 4th level, the thrall of Ugudenk is constantly exuding fear and menace into the earth around him. As long as he is in contact with the ground, terrain within 30 feet of him is treated by enemies as difficult terrain. Once per round as a swift action, the thrall of Ugudenk can treat the area within 30 feet of him as though within his melee reach, and can make an attack of opportunity against a creature that would provoke within this area, provided he has line of sight and line of effect to that creature. A flash of something white and abominable streaks under the earth to deliver this attack and vanishes as quickly as it was seen.

Earthquake (Sp) At 5th level, the thrall of Ugudenk has gained the power to shake the earth. Once per day he may use earthquake as the cleric spell (caster level = thrall of Ugudenk's HD, save DCs Constitution-based). When the thrall of Ugudenk uses this ability, glimpses of a horrid white something flash through the cracking, heaving earth.

What Lies Squirming (Su) A 5th level thrall of Ugudenk has completed the corrupting transmutation that his master has granted. His Strength and Constitution scores permanently increase by 2 points each*. When he would die from damage or another cause, if he is in contact with the ground, the thrall of Ugudenk's body shrivels from within as something inside heaves mightily and then vanishes into a hole in the earth. One round later, the thrall of Ugudenk attempts to seize a new body, which must be a creature of the same type as he is. This creature can be any target within 1000 feet of where the thrall of Ugudenk's body lies. The target gets a Fortitude save (DC 10 + 1/2 thrall of Ugudenk's HD + thrall of Ugudenk's Constitution modifier) to resist this attack; if it fails, something long, white and wriggling shoots up from the ground into its body, instantly killing the target and transforming its body into a replica of the thrall of Ugudenk. The thrall of Ugudenk uses this new body just like his old one, except he has the new body's equipment rather than his own (which remains with his old body until retrieved) and has only half his total HP (round down). If the target succeeds on its saving throw, the thrall of Ugudenk dies. This ability can only trigger once per week; once used, a full seven days must pass before it will activate anew.

If the thrall of Ugudenk dies while this ability cannot trigger, his body undergoes a hideous metamorphosis as the truth of his new nature is revealed: stretching and distorting wildly until it is 80 feet long, the corpse becomes a fusion of the thrall of Ugudenk's features with a vast, gaping, distended maw and an abominable giant white worm, rooted into the earth. Creatures within ten feet of the body when this transformation occurs take 8d6 + Con damage as the unworldly flesh crashes down upon them.

*These increases are treated as extraordinary, not supernatural, by effects which interfere with (Su) abilities.

Wow! These look great . Really creative, unexpected, and in line with the themes of the demon lords without directly copying them. Kudos!

Comments and questions:

I didn't expect for them to be five levels long. All the official Thrall PRC's that I can recall are 10 levels long. Any particular reason for this choice?

The Thrall of Dwiergus doesn't gain control of the demon produced by its Cocoon ability right?

The focus on Deformity feats for the Thrall of Dwiergus was actually really unexpected for me. I was expecting some abilities based on fiendish grafts.

The focus on "earth" for the Thrall of Ugudenk was also pretty unexpected for me. I mean it fits but I was expecting a focus on worms and parasites given those are in the demon lords portfolio. Interesting...

If you're going to require Willing Deformity for the Thrall of Ugudenk, then why not grant Willing Deformity (Parasites) as a bonus feat for it? It fits and isn't overpowered at all.

For the "Unquiet Earth" ability, how does its effect of allowing the thrall of Ugudenk to treat the area within 30 feet of him as though within his melee reach as a swift action look like? So if a medium Thrall hits someone 30 ft away by using the ability, what does an observer see?

If you're interested in doing more Thralls I'd actually be particularly interested in your take on a Thrall of Pale Night. I have absolutely no idea what kinds of abilities that PRC would have.

Thralls of Obox-ob also sounds pretty cool. So do Thralls of Adimarchus (a PRC based around madness and insanity would be awesome. There's also his split personality which could have some interesting stuff). Thralls of Lamashtu would be awesome but probably too graphic for this forum (and maybe it would step on a Thrall of Dwiergus/Pale Nights toes a bit?)

(these are all just suggestions of course)

Was the making of these two PRC's hard because of the scant information on these Demon Lords or because of something else?

Shouldn't the Thrall of Ugudenk also have Hide as a class skill?

I am going to go over to the minmaxboards and tell them about this thread. This stuff has to be shared .

I didn't expect for them to be five levels long. All the official Thrall PRC's that I can recall are 10 levels long. Any particular reason for this choice?

Both Dwiergus and Ugudenk are stated to have small to nonexistent followings, and those largely temporary. Neither holds on to followers long enough for a 10-level PrC.

The Thrall of Dwiergus doesn't gain control of the demon produced by its Cocoon ability right?

He does not.

The focus on Deformity feats for the Thrall of Dwiergus was actually really unexpected for me. I was expecting some abilities based on fiendish grafts.

I felt that was closer to the work of a sibriex and took away from Dwiergus's ability to directly mutilate the soul, not just the body.

The focus on "earth" for the Thrall of Ugudenk was also pretty unexpected for me. I mean it fits but I was expecting a focus on worms and parasites given those are in the demon lords portfolio. Interesting...

The intent was to imply that the thrall of Ugudenk is becoming something like his lord, something horrifying, immense, and concealed just beneath the ground. Wanted to play in a different territory, flavorwise, than that occupied by Kyuss et. al. I drew from various inspirations on that, including The Fly, the final scenes of Hellboy, and Lovecraft's short stories The Festival and The Dunwich Horror.

"Whateley's Squirming" -> "What Lies Squirming"

If you're going to require Willing Deformity for the Thrall of Ugudenk, then why not grant Willing Deformity (Parasites) as a bonus feat for it? It fits and isn't overpowered at all.

Done.

Added.

Was the making of these two PRC's hard because of the scant information on these Demon Lords or because of something else?

Mainly because of their narrow ability sets; especially Ugudenk, whose abilities largely center around LOOK I'M A BIG WORM HAHA!

I'm wondering if the Thrall of Ugudenk should get a special clause that allows them to negate (or at least lessen) the drawback of using the Deformity (parasites) feat...it would make the feat a lot less crappy to use. On the other hand, "special" clauses feel clunky and fiaty.

Both Dwiergus and Ugudenk are stated to have small to nonexistent followings, and those largely temporary. Neither holds on to followers long enough for a 10-level PrC.

Point. Though doesn't Juiblex also have a really small to nonexistent following? His PRC is 10 levels. Hm.

When would a Thrall of Dwiergus use its Cocoon abilty? I mean it's probably lessening the power of the creature its transforming and the Thrall doesn't get control so...?

What is the range of the Deforming Gift ability?

Build Ideas:

Thrall of Dwiergus: Focus on fear and Cha obviously (the handbook provides pretty good advice on this front). Various Deformity feats+ Cha focus+Intimidate as a class skill means nice fear stacking is a good idea. the problem here is that squishies aren't good in melee range...which Intimidate requires. A gish maybe...? Some abilities require touch range...

5 or more levels in Red Wizard allow you to take the Favoured of the Zulkir vile feat. It reduces he corruption cost of Corrupt spells by 1. This synergizes with the Oath of Fleshforging and Red Wizard is a pretty nice PRC in general.

6 levels in Legacy Champion give you moar Deformity feats at the cost of another Caster Level. Also allows you to give/inflict more Deformity feats on others.

The Chosen of Evil feat is a Vile feat and allows you to take 1 point of Constitution damage to gain an insight bonus equal to the number of vile feats you have. Until the end of your next turn, you can apply this bonus on one attack roll, saving throw, ability check, or skill check. Given that all Deformity feats are Vile feats...:smallamused:.

Thrall of Ugudenk: Con focus obviously. Various Con SAD builds have been made so Con focus optimization is fairly knows (deepwarden, fist of the forest etc). Gape of the Serpent helps with swallowing enemies of the same size (unless the Thralls ability bypasses that limitation?). a Totemist dip would help with melee and sneakiness.

Other than that...I got nothing. I'm sure other members of the Playground could do amazing things with the Thralls more unique abilities but I'm not one of them. Be Con SAD! Done.

Point. Though doesn't Juiblex also have a really small to nonexistent following? His PRC is 10 levels. Hm.

Juiblex doesn't consume his own followers. As often.

Dwiergus eventually assimilates his few cultists, while Ugudenk barely notices his unless they're summoning his wrath to a specific location, in which case they tend to end up as part of the meal.

When would a Thrall of Dwiergus use its Cocoon abilty? I mean it's probably lessening the power of the creature its transforming and the Thrall doesn't get control so...?

6 hit dice + 16 Cha = Babau. 7 hit dice. Damage reduction. Darkvision. Spell-like abilities. Immunities. Slime. More power. Hooray.

Usually, though, it's just to make more demons, because yay, demons! It's not about conserving the power of the subject, it's about stripping it of its humanity. Demon > chaos beast and one of the two is going to happen. If you have an hour to kill, why not make the offer?

What is the range of the Deforming Gift ability?

30 feet.

One of the chief deities of the Loku, Tsauku is the god of just leadership, who commands the mighty forces of nature at the heart of the volcano and provides the invaluable obsidian to his worshipers with which to make tools and weapons of the hunt. Tsauku warns against those who would claim to lead through deceptive words and appeals rather than merit, sending his omens through the earth to tear down the undeserved and raise up opportunities to prove mettle. Not one to value strength for the sake of strength, Tsauku provides to all who show courage his greatest gift: the incredibly sharp, beautiful volcanic glass known as obsidian, with which can be made tools and weapons to be used not just by the strong, but by the clever and the bold.

Tsauku manifests as a tall Loku, darker blue than normal and with magmatic veins instead of the slender white veins of his people. He wields a spear of pure obsidian that glows with the heat of the volcano, and ashen clouds spout from his mouth and ventricles when he speaks.
