Trog's Tavern CXXXII

[AmberVael]

We are based in an old church down by the docks. When I go back I could take you there and sign you up. Aesa flips her magic rod out into her hand and begins twirling it between her fingers.

[Romulus]

"Sounds like a plan." Romulus watches her twirl the magic rod.

[gegiet]

Iria calls her psicrystal back to her side and then gegiet teleports them out.

[Dispozition]

*Dis yawns rather loudly*

"If you'll excuse me, I should probably sleep some more..."

*Dis gets up and walks to the back of the tavern. He sits down in a chair and stares Aesa in the eyes for a moments then closes his eyes and goes to sleep*

Aesa nods and spins the magic rod a little more before setting it on the counter. The single sapphire on her bracelet clicks on the counter as well.

[Romulus]

"I noticed you studying that bracelet...what is it? If I may ask, that is."

[Rebonack]

Regiji yawns and stretches as he stands up from his table. Inexplicably the wolf hound sitting next to him levitates off the ground as he does so. He then begins to make his way toward the door. Oddly enough, the tower of three dozen peanuts he had built on his index finger is still hovering in mid air.

"I wish you all a good day and/or good evening depending on your time-zone," Regiji says. He accompanies this farewell with a grin so impish that it could shatter even the fourth wall, which it apparently already has.

He heads out the door with the hound close behind.

The door closes after Regiji has left which causes the self-propelled peanut tower to collapse back to the table.

[Ramza Hawkwing]

The man doesn't receive his grog and bores quickly, so he leaves.

[AmberVael]

It was- is- a gift from a friend. An old friend. I had... lost it at one point, but I got it back. Aesa fingers the sapphire with a small, genuine smile that contrasts her hawk-like features.

[Romulus]

"Ah...I think I understand..." Romulus nods. "Well, at least you've got it back."

[AmberVael]

I never thought I would see it again. Aesa has an odd expression on her face that appears to be longing, but she shakes her head after a moment and resumes her normal cool demeanor. So what brings a potential mercenary to town?

[Romulus]

"Just traveling around, mostly. Never been here before, so I thought I'd check it out."

[Ryohoshi]

Angelus lights up a cigarette as he leaves.

[AmberVael]

And why should I let you into the guild? Aesa leans back against the counter, smirking a little.

[Romulus]

"Hmm...why should you let me in the guild...hmm......well, I can shapeshift, if I so choose. And I've managed to find a way to allow my gear, including weaponry to shape shift as well. So I've mastered pretty much every weapon known to....basically anyone."

[AmberVael]

Have you now? Does that include magic? Aesa picks up her rod, raising an eyebrow.

[Romulus]

"I'm sorry, do you mean, can I shape shift magic, or magic items?"

[AmberVael]

Some would consider magic a weapon. Myself included. Aesa conjures a bit of crackling lightning in her hand. Its certainly deadly enough. Can you use magic?

[Romulus]

Romulus gives a sly grin. "Well, in either case, the answer is yes."

[AmberVael]

Interesting, and good. Those who cannot use magic are far less worthy opponents in my opinion; the last nonmagic wielder who dared to fight me was slaughtered mercilessly. Poor fool. Aesa chuckles as she remembers fighting Cain.

[Romulus]

"I'll make sure to stay on your good side then. By the way, you don't have any problems with fire, do you?"

[AmberVael]

Aesa raises an eyebrow. No I do not. Why do you ask? She is intrigued by his question.

[Romulus]

((This post is me assuming the lightning's still in her hand))

"Just wanted to make sure before I did this..."

Romulus waves a hand, and the lightning in Aesa's hand turns to a small ball of fire. He grins.

"Wanted to make sure I wasn't going to hurt you."

Interestingly, only half of Aesa's lightning changes into fire. The other half remains as it is, somehow unaffected, as if it were not magic at all. Hm. I think I could come to like that. Aesa spins the crackling, burning energy around in her hand.

[Romulus]

((Sure...this character's only half sketched out...so likely it's just a magic ability of his))

"Oh...I haven't done something like that in a while...last time I didn't that I chose water and electricity...didn't end too well for my opponent."

[AmberVael]

Aesa grins. I can imagine. You will find it hard to influence my magic, however. Her yellow eyes lock on to him. Since it is not magic.

[Romulus]

"It's not?" Romulas raises an eyebrow as his attention is captured.

[AmberVael]

Its Seid. The divine art of the norse pantheon. Only a few have mastered it, and no mortal could ever hope to truely understand it. Seid draws on many sources other than the arcane, and therefore it is not quite magic. Aesa watches the crackling ball of fire and lightning, then flings it at the tavern wall where it disappears in a snarl and small roll of thunder.

[Romulus]

"I wonder....you think you could teach that?"

[AmberVael]

Perhaps. I have one student already, but she is human and unlikely to ever master the art. Shall we continue this conversation at the guild? Aesa stands, assuming that his answer will be yes.

[Romulus]

"I don't see why not." Romulus stands.

[AmberVael]

Aesa holds out her hand to him. I will teleport us there, if you do not mind. She slips her rod into her belt.

[Romulus]

Romulus takes her hand, "Don't mind at all."

[AmberVael]

Aesa teleports them to Heaven's Exiles.

Mourn slinks down the stairs and to the bar,orders his breakfast and an ale

Mourn finishes his meal,pays the barkeeper and begins to leave, muttering something about needing to find work for some one of his expertise

Loki enters, sneezing. He sits at the bar, huddled. He's at least managed to find some bandages to wrap his wound with, but he still sits shirtless.

Lager, please, Cosmo...

[Shujaa]

"Well met," a thin man dressed in nothing but finery says with a low bow, entering the tavern on totally silent feet.

[Wukei]

Loki jumps as he hears the man and turns, bringing his hands up as though casting a spell. When nothing happens, however, he seems quite disappointed and goes into a coughing fit before turning back to the bar.

[Merant]

A heavy hand clamps down on Loki's shoulder "Shall we go...?"

[Wukei]

Loki tenses and ends up coughing. Yea, sure.

[Merant]

Merant grins, and planeshifts to his choosen destination with Loki

[Romulus]

Romulus appears at the bar. He orders a Black Shadow.

Rain and Aramir pad into the Tavern, Rain stops to look around.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian enters and heads for a table. Aramir nudges Rain before he follows Kyrian, to make sure Rain sees where they are at.

Kyrian orders himself a rootbeer. Aramir looks to Rain.

They serve that here? Oh, I'll just get it...wouldn't want to know how Cosmo got it.

Kyrian summons a nice chunk of antelope for the cats.

Rain purrs as she attacks the antelope haunch.

Aramir tears into the antelope as well. Kyrian sits back and takes a drink of his rootbeer.

[Romulus]

Romulus takes a sip of his drink and watches the three at the table.

Rain quickly devours her part of the antelope and then sits back to groom herself.

[Kyrian]

Aramir finishes and begins to help Rain groom herself.

[wxdruid]

Rain turns and makes it mutual. She grooms him as he grooms her, she purrs.

[Kyrian]

Aramir purrs his reply.

[Romulus]

Romulus rolls his eyes and turns away from the cats.

[wxdruid]

Rain rolls and bats at Aramir before jumping/climbing the cat tree.

[Kyrian]

Aramir growls playfully and jumps up after her.

Rain goes directly to the top and rolls over on her back, hanging her head off the cat tree to watch everyone down below.

Aramir climbs up after Rain and lays down beside her.

[Romulus]

Romulus wonders where everyone is and looks around for something to do.

Mourn stomps in through the bar doors and mutters angryly under his breath
"No damn work"
pulls up a chair and orders a grim bewery brand ginger

Rain watches the new people, wondering who they are.

[Kyrian]

Aramir watches the two people he doesn't know from the top of the cat tree.

Aesa appears and leans against the bar, looking around for potential work and recruits.

Mourn orders another grim bewery brand ginger
and starts muttering to himself

[Romulus]

Romulus turns and smiles at Aesa.

"Nice to see you again."

Mourn moves towards Aesa abd says
"You looking for people to do work?
If so what do you need done?"

[AmberVael]

Aesa nods to him. Romulus. She resettles her wings and looks over at Cosmo. A Black Shadow- oh wait- I do not need to buy from you. She snaps her fingers and a glass of Black Shadow appears. The black winged Vala looks at Mourn appraisingly. I am looking for recruits for my mercenary guild.

[Romulus]

"I see we've even similar taste in drinks..."

Romulus takes a drink from his Black Shadow.

[The_Librarian]

Kratos runs into the tavern and yips happily at the two cats in the tree before racing around the feet of the librarian and Greeny as they enter behind him. The librarian lays down a few silver pieces and orders three hot chocolates.

Actually I have never tried one of these until now. Aesa sips it and shrugs. Not bad.

[Romulus]

"So...I'm ready for training anytime you're ready to teach."

[Kyrian]

Good to see our paladin on two legs again...

Kyrian grins at Libris from his table.

[Wukei]

Fenrir comes running into the tavern, carrying a tray of chocolate. I made fudge! He sets the tray down in front of the Librarian. He smiles, and it would be charming were it not for the fact that he was only eight years old.

[AmberVael]

Are you now? Aesa does not seem to believe him.

[Romulus]

"I am. And eager to learn, I might add."

[wxdruid]

Gwen walks in and takes a seat at the bar. She orders a hot chocolate and smiles at the cats.

[AmberVael]

Hmmm. Aesa looks him over. What do you expect me to teach, exactly?

[Gorbad the Limb Rippa]

Mercanary,huh?Ican do that,aslong as Im paid.

[Romulus]

"Anything and everything about the Seid."

[Nevrmore]

Descartes swings the door open violently, letting it slam against the wall adjacent. He sits in the doorway for a moment, expecting that everyone is staring at his awesome new cloak.

Gaze in awe! Gaze in splendor!

He laughs, entering the tavern. He leaves the door open.

Gwen's hot chocolate comes and she adds in the chocolate chips and stirs it with a mini-tornado.

[Kyrian]

G'afternoon Gwen. How are you today?

Kyrian gets up and walks over to Gwen, hugging her as he takes a seat next to her.

[AmberVael]

Aesa smirks. It still puzzles me that you want to learn Seid.

[Wukei]

Fenrir walks over, silently offering Kyrian some fudge.

[Romulus]

Aesa smirks. It still puzzles me that you want to learn Seid.

"And why's that?"

[AmberVael]

Well, I suppose you would not know, would you? Seid is ergi. Aesa snickers over the last word.

[Romulus]

Romulus raises an eyebrow.

Gwen hugs Kyrian back, I'm doing fine, How about you?

[Nevrmore]

Descartes takes an empty seat, counting the patrons.

Wonder which one has the tastiest brain...

[Kyrian]

I'm doing good.

Kyrian turns to Fenrir.

No thanks....Fenrir? Is that you, Fenrir?

Do you still wish to learn it? Aesa looks over Romulus, amused.

[Romulus]

"Well, first, what's ergi?"

[Wukei]

He smiles. Yep. Got reincarnated as a puppy. So it won't be that long til I'm full grown.

"So do i need todo to join?"

[Kyrian]

So...how's Wu and Hawkeye?

[AmberVael]

Oh excuse me. Ergi means "unmanly;" Seid is a woman's art. She glances at Gorbad. Just fill out some papers.

[Romulus]

"Maybe I should pass then..." Romulus smiles as he understands why Aesa is so amused.

[Wukei]

He shrugs, In their room, like always. But last I saw it was because Wukei had passed out from being given greater god powers...which is really hard on a mortal. She transferred them to Hawkeye as Loki'd planned, though.

Were do i get these papers?

[AmberVael]

Well you never know. Odin thought it was worth it, though he is still ashamed of himself for learning it. Aesa chuckles, then glances at Gorbad. I can them for you.

[Kyrian]

Just as I figured...they didn't care... Hey Fenrir...do you still remember fighting me...months ago?

[Ryohoshi]

Angelus sits down at a table and eyes everyone in the area, he then calls Paige over and orders ale.

[Romulus]

"Hmm...I'll get back to you on that...I mean, would be nice to get more powerful in magic.."

[Wukei]

You know...I don't know what's been going on too much...but in all fairness, they've been through quite a bit in the past few days. They even died...the only way for them to be brought back was Loki giving his life.

And I don't remember which fight you're talking about. Most of the fights I've had were under the influence of a collar.

Gwen sips her hot chocolate as she watches the other patrons.

[Kyrian]

Well, I'm sorry for what I did to you Fenrir...whether you remember it or not.

Kyrian sighs.

Maybe I should just go talk to them...

We could all go to the guild now, if you wish. Or I could just summon the papers here. Aesa thinks for a moment. I should probably see to Cassandra, come to think of it.

"Don't matter where to me. Besides, I might just stick to another useful ability of mine..."

To the guild then. Aesa rips a hole in the fabric of reality, making a portal to Heaven's Exiles. She steps through.

He shrugs. S'your call. Seems things have finally quieted over there. He grabs a piece of fudge and stuffs it in his mouth.

Descartes grumbles as no one is gazing at his amazing, awesome new cloak.

Romulus steps through.

Fenrir sighs, sitting down, his tiny legs hanging over the chair. He swings them boredly.

Aramir jumps down and slowly heads over to Gwen and Fenrir. He sniffs at the latter.

Descartes winces.

No one here appreciates my greatness.

He stands up and leaves.

Fenrir growls instinctively at the large cat, forgetting he's in his human form, and that it's rather tiny at the moment.

Rain turns back over and watches Aramir.

Gwen finishes her hot chocolate.

Aramir backs up and tilts his head at Fenrir.

Cassandra walks downstairs, not seeing Aesa she heads outside.

Fenrir, happy that he seemed to be the dominate one, grabs another piece of fudge and pops it in his mouth.

Um...right... Aramir brushes against Gwen's legs.

Maal comes downstairs and considers his options. He sits at a table, pulls out his spellbook, and studies.

Gwen pets Aramir and smiles at him.

Aramir smiles up at her and purrs.

Angelus walks back in to Trog's, his eyes glowing red as he sits down smoking a cigarette.

Maal looks up at the newcomers, but then looks back down at his spellbook.

A dark, robed man steps up. "Yes, I'm Jissnae. Are you the Heaven's Exiles that I have hired?"

I'll stay here with Rain...are you going to be ok going back by yourself?

"Heheheheheheh.... Your guildmaster killed my friend. he was in the slums a while back. Do you know of this?" The man stands up and takes out a blunderbust (Type of gun) and aims it at Mourn.

Gwen smiles down at Aramir, I'll be fine.

uses swift invisibility,runs up to guy and stabbs himthrough the heart.

Angelus gets up and walks to Gemini and puts his hand on the gun, This is a place to relax, take it outside. He also stands in between the two.

Gwen stands and pets Aramir once more before she leaves.

Maal watches the situation, wondering if he might profit from it.

Fenrir shakes his head, waiting for someone to rip Angelus' throat out for interrupting.

The man heals his wounds and shoots at random people, killing innocents. Jissnae fires at Mourn, aiming at his head.

Vinnie walks into the Tavern, and sees the other Marshals passed out at a table.

"HEY! WAKE THE HELL UP!"

The Marshals yawn, and regain conciousness.

"Stupid water! I hate this place more 'n more as we go!"

"Glad to see you back, Vinnie. Have a good rest?"

"Oh yeah, prison cots are very comfortable. So, any plans yet?"

"As a matter of fact, yes..."

Vinnie sits down as Rex fills him in on their plans.

Romulus draws his sword and swings at the man with the gun.

Angelus grows claws and slashes at the gunman's chest. His eyes glowing blood red.

The Marshals stop their conversation to watch the fight with mild interest.

Maal wonders how long these people will be disturbing the tavern.

Deadly appears in a swirl of black flames and sits down at the bar, looking around. Cosmo, a glass of wine. he says and throws the gnome some coins.

A cloaked figure strides into the Tavern, he takes a seat by the bar and says "Ale please!"

((wow, people are realy calm considering the fact that people are fighting to the death))

((It's Trog's, baby. This stuff happens all the time. In fact, it's an amazing day when a fight doesn't break out here.))

Jissnae dodges the swings and jumps into the air, shooting at Maal. He then lands and runs neaar the counter.

The person, Ale in hand, sips it and leans against the bar as he watches the battle.

[Romulus]

Romulus gathers a ball of fire in his hand, and suddenly, lightning crackles all around the fireball.

Regiji walks into Trog's, clad in his trademark blue tunic and wearing his usual grin. He seems more up beat than usual today, if that's even imaginable.

He pauses for a moment, wondering how long the random stooges have been attacking each other. He thinks for a moment, then get a good idea.

Regiji tosses a platinum coin to Paige.

"That's for the quiet jar."

For no readily apparent reason, huge black tentacles burst from the doors and windows and begin grabbing at everyone in the tavern. Due to the fact that the two combatants are noisier than the rest of the patrons they receive most of the tentacly attention.

Oi,just try to do my job so cut it out withthe tentacles

tries to cut his way out of the tentacles

((These are people used to seeing the Tarrasque come in and order a drink, not to mentioned getting assaulted if someone says the Q-word. A little scuffle on the other side of the tavern doesn't bother them))

The Marshals see the tentacles coming at them.

"Awww, what now?"

"I dunno, but I don't like it. Take 'em down, boys."

The Marshals kick out of their chairs, and take a defensive position behind their table. Rex and Phil open fire with their pistols, while Vinnie flings several daggers at the tentacles. Silver revs up his chainaxe, and leaps over the table, bringing his weapon down on the largest mass of tentacles.

[Ryohoshi]

Angelus jumps in to the tentacles and begins to tear them apart, a smile of joy on his face.

[Deadly]

Deadly takes a sip of the wine Cosmo brought him and leans back, enjoying the show. He offers one of the tentacles a seat and orders a drink for it

[Gemini]

Jissnae ducks and watches the arrow whisle by and kill a civillian. "Nice one, that's right, kill more." Jissnae runs up to Mourn and tries to stick the gun up to his chest and shoot him.

The cloaked figure flips his stool and smashes the tenticle. He takes the broken legs in his hands and stabs it into it. Then he gets back to drinking.

Romulus throws the lightning/fireball at Jissnae

[Kenyon]

One of the tentacles manages to grab Phil by the ankle, and tug him to the ground.

"Agh! Dammit! Leggo!"

The tentacle lifts him high in the air, slamming him into any flat surface it can find.

"GUYS! GET M-OW! GET ME-OW!-DOWN FROM-OW!-HERE!"

Silver glances at Rex. "Boss?"

Rex grins, and shakes his head. "I'm in a teachin' mood today. Let him figure out how to get down."

"Aww, you guys can go to hel-OW!"

[Gemini]

Mourn fails to hit the gun away as the bullet enters his body and perices the skin. Mourn's dagger impales his stomach, and the fireball smashes up against his back, pushing him into Mourn. "Damn you.....you won't get away with this..."

[Rebonack]

Regiji takes a seat, seemingly oblivious to the tentacles. Every time one gets close he simply... shifts... instantly from the chair he's currently seated in to one of the other unoccupied three around his table.

He chuckles to himself and then waives Paige over. Regiji, despite the chaos, orders a hot chocolate and pays with a single gold coin in advance. He places both hands behind his head and leans back, content with watching the melee.

((Quiet. Thats why all the tentacles are here at the moment))

Maal dodges away from a tentacle near himself and then suddenly vanishes as he shifts to the plane of shadow and water adjacent to the material.

[Gorbad the Limb Rippa]

Ow, you bastard,your the one whos going to pay!
continues slashing unless wound are mortal

"Not if I die here, you won't never take me back to your guild prison....." Jissnae shoots himself in the head with his gun. He dies.

[Carrion_Humanoid]

The cloaked figure jumps up onto his new stool and whips out two revolvers from under his cloaks "Stop fighting or you will be under arrest!"

[Carrion_Humanoid]

He then receads his guns "Oh. . . Snap"

[Deadly]

Deadly orders two muffins, giving one to the tentacle and taking the other for himself So, what brings you here? he asks it while watching the fight.

Rain watches the action from her spot on the cat tree.

[Romulus]

Romulus glares at the cloaked figure. "You've got no authority."

[Kyrian]

Aramir climbs back up to Rain and licks her cheek.

Mourn picks up Jissnaes body and takes it back to his guild

"Authority my ass pal, these guys were killing innocents in that fight! Theres no law against stopping a fight!" He barks at the man.

Phil, still being swung around like a rag doll by the tentacles, manages to grab one of his pistols, and attempts to aim at the base of the grabby, invasive mass. However, being swung every which way is hell on his aim, as the majority of his shots go wild, one flying in Regiji's direction, another at the cloaked figure, a pair at the fighters, and another in the general direction of the Marshals. They duck behind their table to avoid getting hit.

"Dammit, be careful with your aim, you idiot!"

Phil, thinks for a minute, then reaches up and grabs the tentacle with both hands. Pulling himself up to it, he takes a big old bite. The tentacle seems to yelp in pain, and lets Phil go, leading him to enjoy a good 10-foot drop, face-first, to the hard tavern floor. Not being the Tumbling type, he lands with a rather heavy thud.

Aramir grins and bats playfully at Rain.

"Sure, why not?"

"Now you drop 'im or i'll shoot you!" He says, keeping his pistols drawn.

[Romulus]

Romulus looks at the pistol weilding idiot.

"Now here me again. We're on guild business. You've got no authority to do a damn thing."

[AmberVael]

Maal wonders how long he will have to hide on his shadow plane, then briefly switches back to see if things have died down.
A bullet grazes past his face, and he takes that as a "no" and quickly shifts back to his plane.

"Drop-Now!" He Yells, spitting rather far at a spitoon.

[Romulus]

Romulus opens a portal for Mourn and continues to glare at the idiot.

"Shut up and sit down."

The stray slug hits Regiji, but instead of blasting a messy hole in him it impacts a glassy barrier that suddenly ripples into view. The bullet simply shatters on impact. He shoots a glance at the gunman and shakes his head.

The tentacles, having been once again vanquished, slither back to the foul pit from wince they came. And Regiji gets his mug of hot chocolate.

"Thanks, Paige," he says. "Sorry about the Q-ward, I had hoped it would slow down the brawl a bit," he jerks his attention to the fight as the final shot rings, wincing at the blood spray from the head-wound. He sighs, glancing about at all the dead NPCs. "But apparently not..."

Aramir grins and playfully bites at her neck.

The cloaked figure fires a whole clip of incinerary rounds on his right gun at the man, the feedback lowering his hood, showing Eralin.

Deadly looks at the retreating tentacles and shrugs Not the talking type, I guess. Ah well.

As the bullets near him, they all melt to nothing.

Rain stretches her head forward so he can nip it.

"Ah? SO I'll have to roulette you, eh?" He says as he reloads his pistol with acid shots and raises his left gun "If your a demon, Vampire, Angel, Demon, whatever, one of those are in here" He says as He fires the whole round, fireing everything that could injure any type of demon or angel.

Maal pops back in and sees the fight still going, but weakened slightly. He sits in the very back in the furthest corner.
Damn people.

[Romulus]

Romulus grins as the bullets shapeshift into water, and harmlessly hit him.

"You must be the Town dumbass..."

Aramir keeps growling playfully as he does nip.

Silver picks Phil up and dusts him off.

"There you go..."

"Thanks, big guy." He glares at the others. "Fat lotta help y'all were."

"Hey, you got out, didn't you? You've been gettin' your ass kicked every which way recently, so I wanted to make sure you could still hold your own. Looks like we still need to work on your landin', though." Rex bursts out laughing.

"Yeah, pick on the guy who can't Tumble..."

They all turn to observe the after-fight-fight.

Descartes enters the tavern for the second time.

"I heard the sounds of meatbags killing each other. Where'd it come from?"

Seemingly under its own power the stool Eralin is standing on gets yanked out from under his feet as he begins to fire.

Regiji sips his hot chocolate.

[The_Librarian]

Kratos peers out from under the librarian's chair.

"Is the fudge gone yet?" he whimpers. The librarian smiles as Greeny shudders.

"Oh dear, gone off fudge now?" she asks the wolves innocently.

"It's cruel to taunt the afflicted, Libris."

"Hmmm yes, remind me to mention that to Naivete." She glances over at Kyrian, and then looks at her sadly cold hot chocolate. She pays for three more as the npc on duty comes by, and sips the hot beverage blissfully.

Maal hides an arm behind his back, letting a large flow of eldritch pool into his hand.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian appears back in his seat, only so Libris can have the conversation they should have had earlier (stupid server problems...) He grins at her.

[Deadly]

Deadly sighs and sips his wine while absentmindedly staring out the window.

Regiji glances up and spots one of the soldiers that had attacked the temple of Inari the other day clad in a billowy black cloak. He jumps to his feet, knocking over his chair as he does so and jerks a finger at Descartes.

"That's him! That's the guy the parasite is in!" he dashes across the common floor of the tavern, far faster than any normal human should be able to. "If there are any officers in here I wouldn't mind a hand."

[The_Librarian]

"Funny, Ky, I don't think I've seen you around lately. Has someone been spreading malicious gossip?"

Descartes throws up a Psionic shield stretching from the floor to the ceiling in front of him as he gathers up energy in his hand.

Rain purrs as Aramir nips her neck, she rolls over for him.

Oh...so you don't recall being here the other day...you were a bit...furrier than usual.

Kyrian says the last three words telepathically, and only to Libris. He grins at her.

Aramir brings his hind legs up to gently rake Rain.

[Kenyon]

Upon seeing Libris, Phil's eyes light up, and all his feelings of pain seem to wash away. Doing that creepy little eyebrow thing of his, he starts to walk over, when Vinnie grabs him by the shoulder.

"No, Phil. Just....no."

"Aw, c'mon! Lookit'er! This's the woman of my dreams, no doubt!"

"Phil, in the time you've been here, the 'women of your dreams' have pounded you, smashed a beer mug in your face, kicked in the groin, REPEATEDLY, and have made overt efforts to steal your soul. Let me repeat that last part, SHE WAS A SUCCUBUS AND WANTED TO KILL YOU. Do you REALLY think it's worth it?"

Phil thinks for a moment, then looks back at Rex. "Yep."

Rex groans. "By the Emperor, you're hopeless."

Maal does not understand what Regiji is talking about, but he feels ready to do something now, no matter what happens.

[The_Librarian]

The librarian flinches slightly and narrows her eyes at Kyrian.

"Well, wolves will have their fun... and pay for it. Karma is a sweet, sweet thing."

Eralin awakes from his chain of thought "So what the hell are you?" He asks as he whistles.

"Oh, don't get me wrong...I'm an angel. Maybe you should just not be a dumbass and open fire on innocent people."

Angelus sits back down and orders some ale from Cosmo.

He's putting up a psychic barrier. I'm reshaping the aura to better pierce it.

Once he's within range Regiji leaps at Descartes shoulder first. A shower of multicolored sparks burst from the point of Regiji's impact on the shield as a portion of it is converted to random psionic static. Regiji is slowed, but he's still moving at a considerable pace aiming to bull-rush Descartes back out the door.

Rain rolls off the cat tree, landing lightly on her paws. She grins up at Aramir before taking off out the door.

Eramil waves his hand "No-no, I think Im confused. Please, tell me whats going on here?"

Aramir grins as he shadow jumps down to the base of the tree and takes off after her.

Descartes is forcibly vaulted out the door ((If only he had decided to close it!)) and onto the street.

The librarian grins and then strokes Greeny's head fondly. She turns to the man who had been approaching earlier. He reminds her of someone.

Maal lets his eldritch die away.
Glad I didn't have to fight.

[Romulus]

Eramil waves his hand "No-no, I think Im confused. Please, tell me whats going on here?"

"It's simple. You. Are. A. Dumbass."

Eramil chuckles "No, not that, why do you want that man?" A fluttering is heard outside.

Phil almost seems to squeal with glee when Libris looks at him.

"C'mon, fellas! She's lookin' at me!"

"So was the succubus!"

The librarian frowns, then abruptly gets out of her seat. The two green wolves follow her in confusion as she hurries out of the tavern.

[Romulus]

Eramil chuckles "No, not that, why do you want that man?" A fluttering is heard outside.

"Again, simple. If you stopped firing at innocents, and payed attention, you would have heard the two times we told you it's guild business."
