Pretty much what it says. What's your favorite epic action music from TSFH, especially as background for a gaming session?

"United We Stand" is pretty hard to top for a fight scene, imho.

Wow, this thread is gonna get swarmed... :smallamused:
I see you're continuing from my other thread?
Anyway, I like to use either the 10 hour repeating tracks (for long fights) or just extended versions of songs for stuff. Some favorites:
To glory! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s9mi__FaFhc&noredirect=1) usually for epic end battles, quite heroic in my opinion, and it's start really pumps out the blood.
Archangle is also quite good. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NaJ3WtWOQTw&noredirect=1)
Norwegian pirate (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rXJRPFlLK2o&noredirect=1) for an escalting combat, with foreboding tones at the start, but then fast action.

Other, non necessarily battle:
Heart of courage (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XYKUeZQbMF0&noredirect=1) is one of the most heartening music pieces out there. I love to put it when the party makes a decision for a great undertaking, or at the preparation stage/ "getting to" stage of the major event in the campaign arc. It just brings out the heroes!
Mercy in darkness (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Y8X3PqkhAQ&list=PL31ADD59DA8CD02C5&noredirect=1) is a lovely piece that I would love to use for either a moment of tragedy, divinity, loss, or great grace. In short- a very pristine and special moment. I didn't find an extended version of it, but it is awesome nonetheless.
Freedom fighters (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h58C5mHVWfs&noredirect=1) is a masterful piece that builds up great tension and expectation. I envision it with the PCs just starting to see something unfold. like an army rising in the distance, or some strange phenomena or such. It has a great feel of expectation and realization.
The Entire All Drums go to Hell album (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=88SOwK7Ocsk&noredirect=1) Is a great album for keeping the pace and tension somewhat fast paced and elevated. I like to keep it as a background music for arenas, pirate coves, chases, fantastical locations or more tribal settlements.
Sky Titans (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vX_iQqwYsuM&noredirect=1) was the opening music for our pirate campaign sessions! It captured the "high seas adventures" theme quite nicely, a bit of a cinematic feel. I've grown fond of this music ever since.

There are quite a few more, but these are the ones that pops to my head at the moment. I will be watching this thread! :smallwink:

The title track from Invincible is one of my favorites.

Here is my short Epic Battle playlist, only a few tracks are from TSFH.

Personally I'm fond of a few:

Protectors of the Earth (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KO1jKOzs9oY) - This has a good building sound to it. In my mind's eye I fleets of ships assembling but it could also be used for gathering armies or defenses before a big battle.

Strength of a Thousand Men (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VG-mLawoxrs) - For me this would be good music for some sort of race condition. Maybe the heroes are pushing their horses across the open plane to catch a fleeing target. Or maybe they are rushing to escape a dungeon that's collapsing around them.

For the Win (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rl_ndy61ON4) - I think this would work well as victory sendoff music. It has a fast pace that hints there is more to come, but there's a positive tone to it that says to me 'we came, we saw, we kicked ass.'
