Streets of the Town XV

[McBish]

Eric steps out of Iames's and heads towards Trog's moving quickly.

Eric follows a man out of Trog's and into an alley way. There are two other men waiting there. "I see you got the book." Eric holds it up, You have my money? A purse of coins is tossed to him and he catches it and looks inside. Right then. Here's the book. He tosses it to the man. We done here. "Yeah." Good then here are the letters that I assume you really wanted. Just making sure you didn't try anything funny. He pulls out some letters from under his shirt and tosses them to him. "Smart kid." Eric turns and leaves the alley and pauses in the street wondering where he should go now. He heads into Trog's.

[NecroPaladin]

Namesake walks through town on his way to the Omnishop. He needs a new hood, and currently his face is covered by a metal mask ((the kind commonly worn by Lepers in RL Middle Eastern cultures)).

[NecroPaladin]

Namesake walks back out. His head is engulfed in flame-not so much Ghost-Rider style as it doesn't look like he even has a head. He's hard to miss. He walks off into the depths of the city, to return when his player has had dinner.

[McBish]

Eric walks out of Trog's and as soon as the door cloeses moves quickly into an alley way and hides. A few seconds later several sailors look around for a bit. Eric stays hidden.

A few more sailors come out of Trog's. After a few more minutes of searching the sailors leave and Eric relaxes a bit in the alley.

Eric goes into Trog's.

[Chaotic Bob]

Katalia strolls out of the station and drops Chaotic Bob's corpse onto the ground. She points at it, whistling slightly as a stream of necrocarnum flies out of her finger, flooding the corpse.

After a few moments of this she vanishes and the new necrocarnum zombie walks over to Trog's.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Aerin comes out of the police station and heads to Trog's.

[McBish]

Eric leaves Trog's and heads towards the Slums.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Aerin leaves Trog's and heads for the station. She stops in the middle of the street and shakes her head, then casts gate and steps through.

[Chaotic Bob]

Rizzen walks out of Trog's humming slightly.
Hmm, perhaps I'll wander around, check out some of these places I've never been to before....
He pulls out a sheet of paper with various location names. He moves his finger around and randomly drops it on one. He blinks when he sees that he's chosen Hangman's Hill.
That's rather...not what I want to do right now.
He sighs.
Well that killed my spirit, lets see how that fight's going.
He walks into a shadow, vanishing to elsewhere.

Alena walks out of the Eyrie gently pulling Alex out with her. She stops so he can lock the door.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex locks the door and pockets the key.

[wxdruid]

Alena smiles, I love you. She spreads her wings before folding them against her back. She waits until Alex is ready before she starts walking towards Trog's Tavern.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex walks besides her "Love you right back."

[wxdruid]

She ruffles her feathers happily and opens the door for him.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex grins and kisses her before walking into the tavern

[wxdruid]

Alena follows him inside.

[Wukei]

Mikhail runs out of the Tavern and into the street. Great...just great...I'll have the whole family after me soon...

[McBish]

Eric exits Trog's and sees several sailors, he curses and runs down an alley way. The sailors follow after him. Eric quickly moves and hides away his coin purse, he then starts to run down the alley.

The sailors chase after him. Eric takes a wrong turn and comes to a dead end. He turns and the sailors fill the enterance to the alley way. They rush at Eric and he swings his fist knocking down the first one that comes at him. The next one grabs his other hand and tries to holds it down. Eric kicks and tries to punch the sailors. In the end they hold him down and beat him into unconsiousness.

They pick him up and carry him towards the docks as if carrying a drunk friend.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex leaves Trog's and seems relieved at the warmer air outside than in. He looks around "Come out, come out wherever you are demon..."

[Wukei]

Mikhail looks up from where he's been leaning against a building and draws a flintlock pistol, frowning.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex sees Mikhail and frowns. He folds his arms "Don't even think about it mate."

[Wukei]

Mikhail smiles, Don't think you can bully me into submission, Demigod...

[Rebonack]

Maph'tey steps out of the OmniShop and begins to stroll in the general direction of Trog's. It isn't long before he reaches the business and spots a certain fire-related diety out front.

"Oh great... it's that guy from the other night."

"Hey! The little man with the firey temper!" comes an icy sneer. "How did your time with that little holy harlot go? Hows about you let me take a shot at he-urf"

The wing suddenly stops short as the Traveler buries his elbow in it.

"I'm really really sorry about that. I can't always keep Ruin quiet. Would it be possible to refrain from smiting me long enough to make it up to you?" he regards the demon for a moment. "This is a bad time, isn't it?"

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex smiles "Ok, this can go two ways. Either you tell me why you changed wolfie into a baby and how to reverse it. Or I kill you." he ignores Maph'tey

[Wukei]

The first will be rather difficult, since I don't know how to reverse it. But the second will be rather difficult, as well. You'll not find it easy to kill me. I am, after all, a demon.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex shrugs "I could keep you in constant torture, but that's so much effort. Why don't you tell me all you know first."

[Wukei]

You don't scare me...you're good, not evil. Torture isn't your style.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex laughs "I can be evil when I want to. I killed Fenrisulfr in cold blood without thinking twice."

[Wukei]

Really? I'm surprised... He shrugs. Oh well... He turns and heads toward the docks.

[Rebonack]

"Turned into a bady? Sounds like some variant on Baleful Polymorph," Maph'tey comments. "If so then something like Disjunction should get rid of it easily enough. Better than splitting heads over the issue."

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex narrows his eyes "Excuse me I didn't say you could go."

[Baeleck]

The Masked One appears in the middle of the street. He peers around, observing the various goings-on around him.

[Wukei]

He glances back, Then I guess it's a good thing I didn't ask your permission.

[Alex Shipmaster]

"Either get talking or I get violent demon"

[Wukei]

I've already told you...I don't know how to fix it...I'm not exactly well versed in magic. So go play, little boy.

[Rebonack]

"By the sands the people here are bull headed..." Maph'tey sighs as he heads into Trog's.

[Baeleck]

The Masked One gives a small chuckle to himself as he listens to Alex and Mikhail argue. He is a little curious of what it is about, but says nothing.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex shrugs "Well I did warn you..." he substitutes sonic energy into a fire storm and casts it targeting Mikhail's lower legs

[Baeleck]

The Masked One's amusement soon turns to bother as Alex attacks Mikhail. He teleports inside Trogs.

[Wukei]

Mikhail is hit, hard and stumbles. He growls and aims at Alex, shooting at him with the flintlock.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex is hit in the shoulder and growls. He runs slightly to the right and casts another flame strike, substituting electric energy into it this time.

[Wukei]

Mikhail dodges to the side and then turns and runs toward the docks.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex runs after him, a sword appearing in his hand as he does so

[Renrik]

Renrik wanders through the alleyways, makng his way through the Town, occasionally stopping, his hand clasped around a token he pulls out from the folds of his cloak, seeking and probing for his prey. He goes into an alleyway, and dissapears.

An elderly man walks out of Trog's, and goes into an alleyway.

Renrik makes his way stelthily through through the city's secret ways, towards the Temple of Inarri.

Alena runs out of the Tavern and looks around, she takes off and makes a large circle over Town looking for Alex.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye comes out of Trog's and sighs"Alex what's got into you..." he walks the streets thinking

[Sneak]

Sneak walks along the streets, singing quietly to herself. She then enters the tavern after a quick furtive glance around.

[Wukei]

Wukei follows after Hawkeye. Hawkeye?

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye turns about and smiles sadly at Wukei "Hey"

[Wukei]

Wukei catches up with him. What's wrong?

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye sighs "Nothing, except for the fact that my son has completely and totally flipped."

[Wukei]

Wukei laughs. Oh come on, he didn't flip at all. He's got a short fuse, like my whole side of his family--except for, perhaps, the elder of his two uncles--and just thought the girl he liked was flirting with someone. He'll calm down, see things for the reality that they are, and come back and apologize.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye shakes his head "I've never seen him go off the wall like that before."

[Wukei]

Wukei shrugs. Love makes the Loki family line do some crazy stuff.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye half smiles "I know that from being married to you...but that I feel was bordering on insanity. Or a broad homicidal tendancy."

[Wukei]

Wukei shrugs, Come on...you've seen how crazy we get...

[Hawkeye]

"But not as far as doing something that would incinerate almost anyone..." Hawkeye sighs again and then walks over to Wukei

[Wukei]

Wukei laughs. Oh yea? Did you forget my father?

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye laughs bitterly "And how many times have we killed him for that?"

[Wukei]

Wukei shrugs. Something makes me think that vengeance is not the way that guy worked...so Alex'll be fine.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye puts his arms around Wukei and puts his head on her shoulder "I hope you're right, it finally looked like he had found some peace before that."

[Wukei]

Wukei laughs. Peace is not easy to keep. I don't think it really exists.

[Hawkeye]

"It exists for a finite amount of time, for how long it lasts is up other people around you and your actions."

[Wukei]

Wukei smiles. Human nature dictates that there is no such thing as peace.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye sighs and holds Wukei a little tighter "Why does misfortune always seem to happen to other people when we're around?"

[Wukei]

Wukei grins. 'Cuz I'm bad luck.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye smiles "Now you tell me"

[Wukei]

Wukei laughs again. You wouldn't have believed me if I told you during one of the good times or told me I was being pessimistic during the bad times.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye sighs and hugs Wukei tight "S'pose saying "at least x isn't happening" would jinx it?"

[Goblin Music]

Valic lands softly on the street looking around.

[Wukei]

Wukei smiles, kissing him. Probably.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye sighs again and slightly leans into Wukei "Where were we staying again?"

[Wukei]

Wukei smiles. How about my ship?

(If I can dig it up out of the rubble...)

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye tilts his head "I thought it was destroyed?"

[Wukei]

Wukei frowns, looking displeased. My newest acquisitioned ship.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye chuckles "We'll leave how you aquired it to another time."

[Wukei]

Wukei smiles. Best that you don't know, I think.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye raises an eyebrow "That sounds ominous"

[Wukei]

Wukei smiles. Yea, well you're still a good person, and I don't want to change that alignment.

[Goblin Music]

Valic walks swiftly in the direction of Trogs tavern

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye chuckles "You've really gave my alignment a good kicking"

[Wukei]

Wukei smiles. Well you're threatening to turn me Lawful. Look at me, a lawyer and all.

[Hawkeye]

"Hey, you got that from your father, he first introduced himself as a Go...od lawyer."

[Wukei]

Wukei chuckles. Hey...he actually is a good lawyer.

[Hawkeye]

"Heh, I'll give him that much. Makes a pretty good case that the more chaotic you go the better lawyer you'll be."

[Wukei]

Wukei smiles. Ah good...I'm not lawful after all.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye smiles "I've saved you from that fate then."

[Wukei]

Wukei laughs. No, you brought me closer to it.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye laughs "We're a bad influence on each other"

[Wukei]

Wukei shakes her head. No, I'm the bad influence, you're the good influence, get it right. I just normally hate good influences.

[NecroPaladin]

Namesake reappears...On top of Trog's. He is holding what appears to be a chicken. Dead zombie ninjas roll down the shingles. He jumps onto a balcony, and heads in. The chicken stays. No explanation will be given, so do not ask.

[Hawkeye]

"So I'm the exception to the rule?"

[Wukei]

She smiles. Of course.

[Rebonack]

Maph'tey, having exited the tavern, begins to wander aimlessly. Who knows, he might find something interesting.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye smiles back "I've missed this."

[Wukei]

Wukei grins. Oh yea? So you like being spoiled....

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye chuckles slightly "It depends on what sort of spoiled you mean"

[Rebonack]

The Traveler, by utter happenstance, manages to cross paths Wukei and Hawkeye.

Noting that they appear to be enjoying each other's company at the moment he doesn't intrude. Instead he listens to a hobo who is currently playing a very old and very out of tune lyre.

[Wukei]

Wukei shrugs, Well if someone continues to make exception for you, then you are by definition spoiled.

[Hawkeye]

"And I'm very glad of it Wu."

[Wukei]

Wukei smiles, kissing him. Let's go home.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye kisses her back "Lead the way Wu"

[Wukei]

Wukei leads him off toward the docks.

[Rebonack]

Maph'tey fishes a single platinum coin out of his satchel and tosses it into the 'musician's' wicker basket.

He continues his aimless wandering.

Oddly enough, he ends up right back at the tavern.

"I... I'm really not sure I want to go back in there. Getting torched once is bad enough. I would rather not get frozen too."

"Kill them all..."

"Shut up, Ruin."

Maph'tey steels himself and steps inside.

[McBish]

Eric stumbles out of the docks bleeding. He staggers into Trog's.

[Castaras]

A group of 50 spiders crawl down the streets towards the mages guild. They crawl in through the door.

[Goblin Music]

Valic steps out out Trogs removes his cloak reviling a splendid pair of wings which open as he flies to the top of Trogs where he sits.

[Goblin Music]

After much thought he flies of in the direction of the forest.

[Castaras]

A few spiders trickle out of the guild, and make their way back to Trogs.

[Martini1992]

Martini gets bored and sees some action in the mountains and heads off in that direction

((OK, here we go!))

The sun stands low on the horizon as a figure on horseback slowly approaches the gates.

A couple of yards from the citywall he dismounts, patting the slender black stallion's side. On foot he walks up to the guardsman on duty and gives him a friendly greeting: Good evening, officer. May the Moon of Sil'varas always illuminate your path. The man at the gate returns a blank look and motions through the gate.

As the newcomer moves on he wonders, where that greeting formular came from. At times it got difficult to separate the two sets of memory from each other. Those things which have happend in the last half year are quite precise in front of his inner eye, but unfortunately it is a real mess to point to anything that happend before then. Nonetheless, single pictures of persons and places as well as names flashed in his mind, now and then. But as easily as they appeared, as quickly they vanished into oblivion.

Apparently, the guard had never heard of Sil'varas and he wondered himself where that had been. A dim image of a great city hovered on the edge of his perception but then it was gone completly.

Shaking his head he entered the city.

The hood of his green riding cloak is cast back to reveal his long and shiny black hair. A gust of wind catches some strands and they give off a faint bluish sheen in the late afternoon sun.

His delicate features, the high cheekbones and a set of pointed ears that stick out of his hair unmistakingly declare him as an elf of noble heritage, although he carries no jewlry, banner or similar mark, which could point out his origin.
The rest of his clothing is down-to-earth and pratical, suited for riding and cross-country travelling. The vest and trousers are crafted from soft leather, just like his boots, and his white shirt shows signs of a long, exhausting journey.

He takes his expensivly ornamented quarterstaff, the only badge of wealth that can be seen, from the side of Onyx's saddle and leans upon it, looking around in awe. He tries to get an overview, but somehow he feels lost.

[metakirb]

Metakirb flies towards the streets, when he is there he falls from the sky, he slams into the ground with a heavy impact, his arms are drenched in blood.

I couldnt stop him... dammit... why wont he believe me...he says weakly, just before he loses concousness

[Goblin Music]

Bursting out of Trogs Valic sees Metakirb and rushes to him Cure Serious Wounds! what hapend he says.

[metakirb]

i.. managed to get away from terran, dam his blade hurts...

he loses conciousness

I get Metakirb and bring him to the nearest clerical house.
(where is a hut of healing?)

Terran appears infront of goblin music

I'll be taking him back now...

pulls out his dark crusader blade, still at 27 times its original size

Um..... aa NO!! and with a loud CRACK he and Metakirb are gone.

Dam, why must people interfere with what they do not understand? no matter, i have all the time in the world to find him and avenge my sister...

He vanishes

Martini runs to the mountain again to try to find metakirb

[Landaro]

Looking down the street, the new one spots something happen. There is a stout two-storied building with a sign above the door. It swings in the wind, but he can make out the elaborate letters: It reads "Trog's Tavern".
The place seems to be busy, so he assumes it to be the right place to get to know the local folk.

A lean, young fellow who is standing out front is looking up to him as draws nearer. The elf takes a gold coin from his purse and tosses it to the boy. Take good care care of Onyx, please. I'll see to him later.

With that he enters the commonroom of Trog's Tavern.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye steps onto the street from the tavern. He takes a few deep breaths before wandering the streets.

[metakirb]

High above the streets metakirbs dragon, kalessin heals metakirb with a chaos heal technique, getting up he jumps down and enters the tavern

[Goblin Music]

Valic flies to the mountains.

[Renegade Paladin]

Gaheris walked down into the Slums. Time to try this again...

[Kylsa Lendora]

Kylsa exits Trogs and walks down the street. she examines shops for help wanted signs. She stops near the temple of Inari and sits on the curb. Jann hops up onto her knee and clucks softly to her. after a few minutes, she gets up, wipes her face with her sleeve, and walks into the temple.

[Baeleck]

Baeleck leaves Trogs, and then starts walking towards the woods. He then takes to a light jog, and then a sprint.

[Castaras]

The drow leave Trogs, heading for the countryside.

[Meynolds]

Chance exits Trog's and flies behind the Drow, from a high height.

[Saurous]

Saurous suddenly appears on a rooftop near Trog's. She looks around.

Darn. Teleportation misses must be contagious, and I've been hanging around Chance for too long.

She then ducks down as she sees the drow. She follows quietly.

[Wukei]

Mikhail walks out onto the street, adjusting one of the manacles on his wrist as though trying to massage the skin under it. He walks aimlessly toward the docks, thoughts running through his head that normally don't.

[Saurous]

Two wolves walk down the street from the woods. They looks around, staring in the windows of the buildings. One, the larger one, says something to the other one.

{Worg} Look, a tavern. We may be able to use that to find him.

The wolves stalk into Trog's.

[Goblin Music]

Valic leaves Trogs and flies into the forest.

[Kylsa Lendora]

Kylsa leaves the temple. she walks around a bit before deciding to take a bit of a rest near Trogs'. she sits on the curb there, watching all that goes on.

[Saurous]

The two wolves come back out of Trog's. They tear down the street, heading for the Mages Guild.

[Wukei]

Mikhail wakes up from where he'd fallen unconscious, holding his head. He stands, trying to remember where the heck he was going, and why.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye steps outside Hank's scowling "Nothing left here for me" he walks a few steps before disappearing in a swirl of fire.

[Goblin Music]

A cat with dull bronze fur walks out of the forest and sits next to Trog's tavern watching the goings on

after watching nothing for a while it walks into the tavern.

[Kylsa Lendora]

waking up from an apparent nap, Kylsa gets up and walks into Trog's.

[Nevrmore]

mZurvan walks out of the Omnishop and walks around Town, looking for soemthing to do.

[Destro_Yersul]

Destro steps down out of his house and walks towards Trog's, looking for a drink.

[Nevrmore]

mZurvan nods towards Destro as he walks past. "Evening, Mr. Yersul.""

[Lord Magtok]

Agent Omega realizes that Destro, who he'd been trying to get in contact with for a while, had just passed him and headed to Trog's. He follows Destro to Trog's, and seem somewhat annoyed with himself.

[Destro_Yersul]

Evening. Destro stops walking. How do you know my name?

[Nevrmore]

mZurvan realizes that's the second time in as many days that he has talked to a person whom doesn't know him. He turns around. "Hmm?"

[Destro_Yersul]

I asked how you knew my name. I haven't met you before, so... Destro waves to Omega as he goes past.

[Nevrmore]

"Yes, I seem to have a problem with that." mZurvan sticks out his hand for Destro to shake it. "I am - or should be - omniscient, you see...but it appears that I'm not quite. As such, I happen to know a lot of things that a normal person would not - one of those being who you are, it seems."

[Lord Magtok]

Agent Omega waves back, and waits for Destro to finish this conversation, so he can ask about the big Plot-mission.

[Destro_Yersul]

Well, it's understandable. Destro shakes his hand. I recently became the Incarnation of Necromancy. Something like that is notable enough to show up to limited omniscience, I imagine.

[Nevrmore]

"Yes. It's just so annoying...The gods made me specifically to know everything and yet I don't. What's a construct to do?" mZurvan says, scratching his head.

[Lord Magtok]

Agent Omega decides to wait another moment, just in case Destro has anything else to say. He wonders if he should get "The Restaurant at The End of the Universe" so he has something to do during lapses in the flow of time.

[Destro_Yersul]

Find a way to fix it? Though, if the usual rules apply, that's one of the things your omniscience omits. Destro signals to Omega that he'll just be a minute, then gets an idea. He shouts something at the universe, and a hole in the fourth wall opens. Destro's player steps through. Hi Omega. What's up?

[Nevrmore]

"Yeah well, it's not my place to bring you into my problems. See you later." mZurvan waves and walks away.

[Lord Magtok]

Not sure. I may be going mad, as I think you just emerged from the fourth wall, and that the trout wizard shouted something at the universe.

[Destro_Yersul]

He did, and I did. You're not going mad. Though I have to tell you going mad is quite fun. Destro waves to mZurvan and turns around to talk to Omega, but has to wait for his player to finish talking first. The fourth wall is going to KILL me for this.

[McBish]

Molph wanders the streets whistleing happily for some odd reason looking for Jacky.

[Lord Magtok]

Yeah...ummm...I'm going to try and pretend this never happenened. Destro, some evil drug-addicted murderous cult is getting too powerful in my homeworld, and yeah...it needs to be wiped out. Wanna come?

[Kyrian]

A man stumbles out of Trog's, looking obviously in pain. His hands are engulfed in flames.

[Destro_Yersul]

Destro shrugs. Sure. Destro's player looks at the burning guy. Crappit. Destro, go help Omega. I can't have your new temporary CG-ness interfering with His player's plotline that I've been waiting for all week.

[Sophistemon]

Jacky returns to his stolen home and flops on the couch for a nap.

[McBish]

Molph starts to search peoples mind around him looking for anyone who has seen a man matching Jacky's description.

((I'll let you decide if he can find him.))

[Wukei]

Wukei steps out of Hookah Bar and makes her way down the street toward Lillah's residence.

[Kyrian]

The man closes his eyes and concentrates. Slowly, the flames die out. He wanders around and steps inside of the OmniShop.

[Sophistemon]

A nameless NPC's subconscious briefly flickers an image of a green-haired man running into a slightly rundown house and slamming the door noisily behind him.

[McBish]

Molph smiles and flips a gold coin at the man who stares at him for a second before running off. Molph disappears in a swirl of angry colors and reappears in the house Jacky ran into.

[Sophistemon]

Jacky bolts upright from the couch as the man appears.

"Who in the hell are you?"

[Destro_Yersul]

Ok, problem solved. Destro's player steps back through the fourth wall.

[Lord Magtok]

Agent Omega awakens after shortly drifting off into a day dream.

Okay, do you know anyone magic thing that'll let Regiji find and reach us quick? I told him he could come too.

[Destro_Yersul]

You could always send a note. With dimensional coordinates. That usually works.

[McBish]

Me. I am a man in search of anwsers. Do you want to know who you are. Molph in case you forgot is an old man with white hair sticking out in all directions as if he was playing with balloons. His clothes are a mismatched assortment of colors and styles.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Svadris appears in the streets and heads for the Temple of Iames

[Lord Magtok]

Okay.

He writes a note, which suddenly transforms into a PM to Regiji's player.

So are you all set to go?

[Sophistemon]

Jacky blinks. "Do I want to know who I am? No. I want to know who you are, old man."

[Destro_Yersul]

Yep. Where to?

[McBish]

I told you that already. Suddenly two daggers fly out of Molph's hands. They are aimed as to cut Jacky's belt so his pants drop. Please try to keep up.

[Lord Magtok]

Jacky jumps from the couch so that the knife thuds harmlessly into the back.

"The hell was that for, grandpa?" Jacky draws two knives. "I dunno what answers you're lookin' for, but you found me!"

[Renegade Paladin]

Gaheris emerged from Alarra's and went up the street to Trog's.

[McBish]

I did. That is true. So why don't you tell me why you put that body on the door to my little appretices house?

[Lord Magtok]

Gimme a sec.

Agent Omega pulls a small round metal ball out of his pocket, and it suddenly stretches itself into the shape and size of a portal.

Jacky's eyes narrow. "I dunno what you're talking about. Sure you ain't senile?"

Mikhail spots the paladin, and knowing him for what he is dodges into an alleyway.

[McBish]

Molph sighs. With a flick of his hands 4 daggers fly at Jacky's arms, two each.

[Sophistemon]

Jacky leaps to the side and rolls back upright. "Watch where you aim those, old man! You might put someone's eye out!"

[Lord Magtok]

[McBish]

Oh really. Sorry. Suddenly about 20 daggers fly at Jacky. Only about 5 of them are real. He isn't throwing to kill.

Regiji suddenly becomes very alert and shoulders his pump action squid-launcher.

"I am so ready to go," he steps through the portal.

[Sophistemon]

Jacky bats at every knife that come close enough to hit him, real or not. Three daggers are knocked out of the air, and two more fly harmlessly behind him.

"Can we talk about this?"

[McBish]

Well we can. But I am sort of enjoying throwing daggers at you. Another 20 daggers fly at him this time all real. Feel free to talk. Start with why.

Mikhail walks to the temple of Inari.

[Sophistemon]

Jacky jumps back and ducks behind the couch.

"Why what?"

Destro steps through the portal in a retroactive sort of way.

The Temple of Iames explodes in spectacular fashion.

[McBish]

Quit playing stupid. Though you do a good job. Why the body on the door? He teleports the couch directly above Jacky's head.

[Nevrmore]

"Whoa.." Floyd says at the explosion as he stumbles out of Trog's bar.

[Sophistemon]

Jacky rolls away.

"I wuz just following orders, old man! I don't even know the dame! And it's not like anyone's gonna miss the bum!"

[McBish]

Whose orders? The room suddenly fills with swirling colors that should confuse Jacky 10 daggers fly at him.

[Kyrian]

The man leaves the OmniShop and starts to head for the woods when he hears a scream. He sighs as his hands turn to flames again, and if someone were to look closely, they'd see that his hands appear to be only bones now.

He reaches a dark alley and finds a woman being mugged by two men. With a small growl, the man points a fiery finger at the two.

"Guilty."

His head erupts in flames and his eyes vanish as his skin melts, showing only a clean skull underneath. The two men look up from their victim and go wide eyed. One rushes forward, only to find a chain wrapped around his chest. The chain catches fire and the man screams out as he dies. The other man pisses his pants and runs. The woman looks at her "hero" and faints as he points at her.

"Innocent."

The man turns away and leaves the alley. Getting back to the main streets, he whistles. A pitch black horse with mane, tail, and hooves all on fire, runs out from the woods and stops in front of the man. With a laugh, he jumps onto the horse's back and they race off.

[Sophistemon]

Jacky tries to avoid the knives but one still slices deep into his left arm.

"Eeee-yow! You crazy old fart! That hurt!" Jacky hurls a knife at Molph, aiming for the right knee cap.

The blood of the wound begins to congeal and clot far faster than is normal.

[McBish]

In a house:

Molph's knee cap bends out of the way. Really? Good. So who is giving you orders. Or should I keep throwing knives? Oh and he dimensional locks the area.

((These guys are in a house. Sorry.))

[Sophistemon]

The wound in Jacky's arm has scarred over. In a minute or two, no clue will remain that he was ever injured. He draws two more knives and rushes towards Molph, snarling like an animal.

[McBish]

Molph teleports behind him and throws ten daggers at his legs from behind. Yay were back to the part where I hurt you I guess. I like this part.

Eric stumbles out of Inari's and goes into the alley where he hide his gold he picks it up and goes to Trog's.

[Sophistemon]

Daggers pierce the back of Jacky's knees and he falls forward, cursing. He reaches around and tears the daggers from his legs. The blood begins to congeal. He flips over on his back and looks at Molph.

"What is it you wanted to know?"

[McBish]

Who told you to put the body on the door? He throws another dagger at him just to show he is serious.

[Sophistemon]

Jacky grunts at the dagger skewers his hand.

"Ow. Damn it, old man. I don't know. I woke up and there was a voice in my head. And a major migraine. It told me to do stuff and, when I hesitated, the pain got worse. It told me to buy a potion at the OmniShop, go to the slums, kill a guy, use the potion on the guy to make it look like the girl, then nail the girl to the door."

He pulls the knife out of his hand.

"Ow."

[McBish]

You listen to the voices in your head. That is just stupid. He throws several more daggers at him. Anyone's voice in particular?

[Sophistemon]

"Ow. Ow. Ow. OW! That one hit the bone! Yeah, someone in particular. Vizier, or something. I dunno. I can't pronounce it the way he did."

[McBish]

Where can I find him? A couple more daggers are thrown at him.

Gwen and Hawk walk out of Gwen's gate and start walking towards the beach.

[Kyrian]

Aramir runs out and follows behind them.

[Sophistemon]

"OW! Jesus! I don't know! ****! I'm just a murderer, man! I don't do the planning!"

Rain follows Aramir

[McBish]

Hm... well that sucks. Are you sure? Several more daggers are thrown.

[Nevrmore]

"Watch out, Gwen. There's probably like a 85% chance that something horrible is going to happen before we get there." Hawk says jokingly as they walk towards the beach.

[Sophistemon]

"Argh! Christ, you're a sadist! Yeah, I'm sure!"

Gwen smiles, I know, if they try, well I do know how to use lightning.

Rain pads along next to Aramir.

[Kyrian]

Aramir playfully whips at Rain with his tail.

[McBish]

((These two are in a house.))

Ok what was his name again? He throws a couple more daggers but they stop before hitting him. They float menacinly above him.

Hawk just smiles lightly at Gwen and continues walking.

Gwen and Hawk walk out onto the sand and the beach.

Rain follows Gwen.

Aramir follows.

[Sophistemon]

"I don't know! Vizier or something! I can't say it, it's too complex and I ain't used to all of the wacky names yet!"

[McBish]

Hm... well that sucks. Ever dagger in the room that Molph has thrown float into the air and point at Jacky. Give me a reason I shouldn't kill you.

[Sophistemon]

Jacky smiles. "I can't die."

[McBish]

Oh that is a good reason then. All the daggers sink into Jacky in a way that won't kill him. Listen to me tell Viser or whatever his name is that if he threatens Lillah again he will die. And if you go near her again I won't kill you but I will trap you in Limbo and let the Lords of Chaos play with you until the end of time. Do you understand?

[Sophistemon]

Jacky nods. "Ow."

Verdandi bursts out of the station, her face stained with tears, but lined with anger. She storms out of the town and into the countryside.

[McBish]

Molph disappears in a swirl of color.

[Chaotic Bob]

A gray mindblade flies into the streets, from the direction of the woods. It impales an NPC through the chest and seeps into them. The NPC looks down with horror as his form begins to lose stability and changes into a large shadowy figure. It roars and runs off towards the woods.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi lands in the streets, scowling, and goes into Trog's.

[Sophistemon]

Jacky pulls the knives out, groans, and crawls on the couch to heal.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi comes outside and flies into the air, and begins circling over town.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian appears on a rooftop and watches her.

Serra bloodrage enters town, looking around a bit heads to the tavern to rest for a bit

Verdandi lands on the edge of a building and looks down at the streets below.

Metakirb flies out of the tavern and heads to the mountains.

Terran darts out of the tavern, he follows Metakirb towards the mountains

Narfang arrives on the streets, looking up at the building Verdandi is perched on

... Boss? Captain?

Calith exits the tavern and darts to the mountains.

Verdandi looks down at Narfang, tears glimmering in her stern eyes. What is it?

[Renrik]

What's going on? You wrecked your desk. What's happened? I've served under three captains, and I've never seen Supagoof or Iames do anything like that. What's happening?

[AmberVael]

Verdandi's wings shake as she contains her emotion, but her face remains stony and stern. Iames is gone.

[Renrik]

What? ...how? Where- what...

Narfang begins to climb up the side of the building to approach Verdandi as he says this.

Verdandi somehow pushes herself up to her feet in an instant. No! Stay away! Don't get near me! One of her hands drops down to her sword and she stares at Narfang with an almost mad glint in her eye.

[Renrik]

Narfang is stuned by the sudden movement and drops a short way to the street. He lands with a dull thud, and stares up at the valkyrie for a moment, his eyes wide like a scared rabbit. He sits there, trambling and transfixed, for a long moment for before closing his eyes and regaining his wits, and stand up slowly.

What's the matter? What's going on here, boss?

Just go! Verdandi's voice is somehow compelling beyond her words... apparently there is a little magic behind it. Tears stream down her face, but she also remains steady and stern.
