Subtle Foreshadowing [Possible Spoilers]

We all know that the Giant is a genius. No one debates that. But recently I came to appreciate yet another facet of his genius when I realized at least one instance of such subtle foreshadowing that I didn't even realize it when it came to pass.

Naturally, there have probably already been threads like this, but I feel that now there may be more instances.

Anyway, the first instance I thought of was this:

Elan says "Roy has boobies." A crude, childish joke about the feat "Great Cleave," because it means Roy has "Great Cleavage." Laughed at and then brushed aside. But then:

So what have we learned today? Either Belkar is something of a prophet, or I'm nuts.
