Please tell me I wasn't the only one who checked for an update at least twenty times today.

Well, everyone who knows that Erfworld updates on SATURDAYS didn't.

Read the news.

I kept wondering why there wasn't a new one, then I rememvered that they don't update on Thursdays anymore. Thursdays is now my day to find new webcomics.

I did. In fact I contributed to the "Tuesday/Saturday" discussion thread. Hence my reference to old dogs in the thread title. I just found my foible funny

I did...
Just because you keep up with the news doesn't mean you can kick the habit...
Kinda like when you wear a watch for a long time, then you decide not to bother wearing one... You know your not wearing one, but your still gonna check your wrist when you want to the know the time...

I also posted in the schedule change thread, but I still checked the site at least 15 times...

Actually made me a little sad. I forgot how boring my 3:00 lab was without a new Erfworld to read.

Or a phantom arm when you lose a limb...sigh...no Erfworld till Saturday.

No, I only checked four or five times.

I didn't check any more often than I do every day, which is to say about twenty times. But not because I expected an update, just because of some subconscious hope that it will update by surprise, and like christmas I will come to the forum and see a post by Rob and Jamie saying that they have decided to do Erfworld as a fulltime job and will be releasing two strips a day from now on.

Three on tuesdays and bank holidays.

Well it's Saturday now, and it's almost 9 pm on the East Coast, and I don't see a comic yet, and waaaaaaaahhh!!! :frown:

(Post made in jest...)

It's my fault. I forgot the switch too, and just went about my normal Saturday errands until my girlfriend looked at me in the car and asked, "Wait...don't you have to update Rob's comic today?"

:o the giant is sort-of fallible?! Could this be a sign of.... mortality?

Thanks, Rich's girlfriend, you saved the day!

Haha, no worries, I was just looking for somewhere to complain. As with most forum-goers on the Web, complaining is a hobby which I indulge with all together too much frequency.

The Giant posted in a thread I started! That's like...like...

Like... I dunno. Just real cool.

I don't really visit or not visit based on the day of the week anyhow. I generally drop by daily, and see a new comic whenever the name of the link changes. Occasionally I get busy with other things, miss a few updates, and catch up later.

Me, too. Getting used is hard sometimes...
