I hate to burst your bubble, but there is already a Tactician psionic class (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/psionics-unleashed/classes/tactician). I'd recommend changing it to Strategist.

I hate to burst your bubble, but there is already a Tactician psionic class (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/psionics-unleashed/classes/tactician). I'd recommend changing it to Strategist. They share the same name, sure, but that class has a completely different feel, plus that class is psionic, which the OP probably isn't going for, otherwise he'd make it psionic.

That said, the class does need some work. The table doesn't include any class features, and I can't find weapon/armor proficiencies. It's a little unclear exactly when you learn strategies.

It also looks like it's missing some class features.

Seize the Initiative is in addition to Dexterity, correct?

Dazzling Offense in the general section looks like it can get pretty brutal with multiple attacks. I know that's the point, but it's not difficult to pull off three or four attacks at low levels, and a -6 or -8 penalty is, well, a lot.

I'm assuming there are going to be more, higher level strategies.

That said, I'd definitely play this class. General, in particular, looks like tons of fun. Tactician has a decent skill list, and the focus on Intelligence means you'll be able to allocate more skill ranks where you want them. I love that you can ignore prerequisites for combat feats, although it could be potentially abusive.

Any chance we can get some favored class bonuses for the tactician? :smallwink:

Oh man, I always neglect updating this except for once a week, after I've made all the changes in a week to set it up for actual playtest, but I'll take these suggestions in mind, probably get to FCBs once I get a full list of abilities and such though.

Sup all, made a lot of big changes, check it out.

There's a lot of TOB call backs in here, so that sort of thing should be expected. Mostly hoping to make something that works for a TOB style character with a bit of a different flavor.
