So, I'm not gonna lie to you folks, I'm pretty hopelessly obsessed with Demon Hunter (http://www.myspace.com/demonhunter) (among other bands...but this isn't their thread!). "Content"-wise I realize their type of band isn't very popular from the get go, but I have yet to find a band that even has the sound like what I adore from them (fyi: I hate hardcore, love metal guitars but hardcore vocals without at least some melodious vocals mixed in is just distorted garbage to my ears).

So, any other members of the Blessed Resistance out there? (see name of their new fan group) And, perhaps even more doubtful, any suggestions of bands I can substitute Demon Hunter sometimes before I can mouth all their songs in my sleep*?

*Author's note: I may or may not already be at this point.

...I used to be at that point, but I've since moved on to mainly death and symphonic metal. Neither sounds like what you want.
