So, does anyone have some homebrew for mechs?? ive been looking through the dragon mech books, an the mechanics seem a bit clunky, any advice, or is design for mechs a different beast to your average dnd fair?

Well, the way I did it on an artificer once was to take a suit of clockwork armour and enchant it with Giant Size from the Wu Jen list. Worked pretty well as a rough model of a magical mech.

As it turns out, the Jester of Doom made a contest entry about that, which you may find on this page. (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?343354-Base-Class-Contest-XXII-Taking-Pixars-of-Dreamworks)

Hope You like it, It won the contest I believe.

Not sure how compatible this (http://www.minmaxboards.com/index.php?board=138.0) is, but it has a lot of content.

The biollurgy rules of Gramarie (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?291019-By-the-Inferior-Science-of-our-Enemies-Gramarie-Mark-II)can make mechs. Though the update works better at it, it's incomplete.

Well, I made this thing (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?205732-Base-Class-The-Mecha-Pilot-(ITS-NOT-PATHFINDER-OR-d20-MODERN)) ages ago.

It'd probably be annoying to read though thanks to the broken tables and images that died out.
