Alright so this is for now just a post with a question of if the abilities would mesh well.

If you took the Factotum as the base build and applied the Monk's Unarmed Progression and Flurry of Blows to it. Changed the Factotum to Wis instead of Int focus and kept the Inspiration Points the same as the normal Factotum. This would mean adding Wis to Str and Dex for physical abilities as well as adding Wis to hit and damage via the Factotum's class features.

I don't think so. Because while the abilities you mention would work decently well, then you get to the spellcasting. The turn undead attempts. The skill abilities. The ability to breech SR. Extra standard actions, which do nothing for the monk, really (they want to flurry).

Well obviously

What if you remove the spell castings, SR breaching powers, Cunning defense (If you grant them the Monk Wis to AC thing).

But give the Factotum the Monk's Unarmed, The Flurry of Blows (So if they like they can trade it away with Monk ACF), and Monk's AC ability but maybe change it to work with light armor.

It's not a bad idea. I'd keep the casting, but base it off the Cleric list. Opportunistic Piety could be replaced with a few more Monk special abilities. Maybe also kick the skill points up to 6/level, but prescribe actual class skills.

You can use the standard action to move, then your normal actions to full attack.

Well the Piety ability might be good to show their dedication to their faith and discipline and Chi abilities or something.

Well yeah the spell list might actually be good if based off the cleric list.
If using the Factotum base you get 6+Int already and the All class skills lean more toward the classical studious monks who study a lot.

You aren't the first to think of this one. (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?204698-Factotum-gt-Monk-%28and-other-underpowered-classes%29-Variants)

Less of a straight-up hack and more basing it off Factotum, but it works out well.

So you're thinking more of adding some elements of the Factotum's wis SADness to the monk? That's a good idea, and I'd suggest looking at it from that perspective. Wisdom to AC would be always on from the monk side, with ki points (call them that instead of inspiration points). Take out the spells, add in some other abilities instead, ki powered. Spend a ki as a swift, your fists get an enhancement bonus of 1/4th your character level for 1/2 your character level rounds. Don't add in a font of inspiration equivalent. Some sort of light step, always on while they have ki, makes them able to jump, run quickly, and then slow fall always on. Maybe add in the healing, maybe not. D-door for a standard action for X ki points, not limited per day. Stuff like that.
