Just a quick feat for crafters "on the go."

Instant Creation
Prerequsities: Appraise 4 ranks, Craft (any) 13 ranks, Concentration 4 ranks, Spellcraft 4 ranks.
Benefit: Once per month, a character may undertake a magical ritual of focus and meditation to create a single item of any value in less than a minute. The meditation period takes 1 hour and cannot be disturbed or the attempt is ruined. If meditation is disturbed, a successful Concentration check against DC 15 avoids the attempt being ruined so long as the character remains in meditation. After the hour of meditation, the item is created in one round per 10 cubic feet of organic material or per 1 cubic foot of non-organic material. Up to 100 cu. ft. of organic material or 10 cu. ft. of mineral matter can be affected in this way.
All materials must be at hand (and must have a worth equal to one third of the finished item). If the Craft DC of the item is greater than 10, a single Craft check against the Craft DC of the item must be made or the attempt fails and the materials will be ruined. Only complex items which the crafter has at least 5 ranks in the requisite Craft skill for may be created.

This is a spell-like ability.

nice one.
My DM once gave me a scroll from Bigby that gives me the same affect.

I think this should be a supernatural ability, as spell like abilities are usually modeled after spells. This doesn't allow spell resistance anyway, and it doesn't look like it's dispellable. And if you're busy for an hour one attock of oppertunity doesn't matter anyway.

It's effectively the fabricate spell for non-casters. Hence spell-like.

But spell like abilities have always casting time of 1 standard action, don't they?

You change quite a bit, compared to fabricate and if we look at the vampire the vampire's dominate has changed about as much as this dominate. But it's become a supernatural ability. Spell like abilities are most of the time exact copies of the spell.

The wording's a little... odd, to say the least.

So, if I'm reading this correctly, a properly built 10th-level expert with this feat can be churning out 1 epic magic item a month with no expenditure of XP? :smallconfused:

Nope. Mundane items. If you're using rules that allow empowered mundane items, then potentially he could churn out a decent bit of hardware (say, if he was forging an adamantine axe), but otherwise this is just so he can make a 50,000gp crown without having to spend several years on it.

I can see it coming in handy. The once per month pert is also good. Really nice for high-level adventures where they go through equipment quickly.
