Help me spend money! (Brewsters GP)

Playing a Pathfinder rules Stonghold game as a fighter. Good rolls and a very generous DM ("DUDE?! Your dice f--king hate you! Re-roll that!") have resulted in none of my stats being below a 13.

My Fighter is level 6 and a spiked chain trip and AO master, designed to troll the hell out of enemies.

DM has said all players start with 16,000 gold. Besides the spiked chain, full plate and some other weapons Ill want for preperations sake (1 long-range, 1 slashing and 1 bludgeoning) I have NO idea in how to spend my booty to make myself maximally effective.

Please help!

And, if this is a pathfinder game, then note that the spiked chain is no longer a reach weapon.
