The Occultist
The occultist is the seeker of hidden truths, the master of forbidden lore and the speaker of forgotten truths. Unlike a sorcerer, who casts spells using innate talent, or a cleric, who receives spells from the gods, the occultist takes his power from scraps of forgotten lore and dread secrets. Ancient truths, words of fell power and invocations of binding and summoning are all part of the occultist arsenal.

Class Skills: the occultist’s class skills are Knowledge (all skills, taken individually) (INT), Use Magic Device (CHA), Decipher Script (INT), Intimidate (CHA), Disable Device (DEX), Search (INT)
Skill Points at 1st Level: (5+ Intelligence modifier) x4
Skill Points at Each Additional Level: 5+ Intelligence modifier
Weapons & Armor: occultists are proficient with all simple weapons. They are not proficient with any armor. Wearing any armor interferes with the occultist’s spellcasting, causing his spells with the somatic component to fail.
Spells: An occultist casts arcane spells drawn from both the wizard/sorcerer spell list and the cleric spell list.To cast a spell, the occultist must have an intelligence score of 9+the spell’s level. The DC for a saving throw against an occultist’s spell is 9+the spell’s level+ the occultist’s intelligence modifier. The occultist can cast any spell he knows ahead of time. due to the incantations and gestures that power an occultist's spells, all occultist spells count as having being both verbal and somatic in nature


Class Features
Fell Invocation I: invoking dark powers and ancient rites, the occultist can cast all manner of potent magic. Choose one 1st level spell (either arcane divine). You may cast this spell as a supernatural ability once per day.
Fell Invocation II: as Fell Invocation I, except that you may choose any spell of 3rd level or lower.
Fell Invocation III: as Fell Invocation II, except that you may choose any spell of 6th level or lower.
Fell Invocation IV: as Fell Invocation III except that you may choose any spell of 7th level or lower

Invocation of Mistborn Secrets
prerequisites: Occultist
effect: you may cast obscuring mist, and fog cloud as spell-like abilities once per day.

Canticle of the Dreaming Dark
prerequisites: Occultist
effect, you may cast sleep[ and darkness once per day as spell-like abilities.
