Hey guys, it's been a while, but I decided to brew this up.

Kavourp

The kavourp are a diverse race of reptilian, consisting of people of four different colors: red, blue, yellow, and purple. Although all kavourps are members of the same race, each color is distinct.

Physical Description: Kavourps appear to be a cross between a lizard and a human. Their bodies are covered in scales, and their mouths have an extended jawline and sharp teeth. Female kavourps lay an egg about once a year, which if properly cared for will hatch in one month. Kavourps show very few signs of aging and often breed until death. Despite the various forms there is an almost equal ratio of males to females.

Kavourp Lands: Because of the nomadic natures of the blue, yellow, and purple kavourps, kavourps of all colors can be found all over the world.

Religion: Kavourps tend to worship gods of travel, such as Fharlanghn, but overall, they tend not to be religious.

Language: Kavourp spoken language is very similar to Dracionic, but it's written component is composed of hieroglyphics.

Names: Kavourps that have red fathers tend to be named by their fathers. Kavourps that have purple mothers tend to be named by their mothers. Otherwise, the parents agree on a name. Generally, kavourps are given a unique hieroglyphic and a one-syllable spoken name, but red fathers or purple mothers often break tradition.
Sample names: Ot, Bix, Gaf, Poz

Red Kavourp

Red kavourps are the aggressive and territorial kavourps. They are entirely male and can be born from any male and a yellow female, as well as through a purple kavourps asexual reproduction.

Personality: Red kavourps are incredibly assertive and possessive. They can be quick to anger, but also very gregarious. A red kavourp tends to focus on his ambitions at the cost of others.
A red kavourp is very territorial. He claims and fortifies it, as the environment dictates. In nature, red kavourps often build a fence around a patch of land or find an enclosed area, such as a cave. In an urban environment, red kavourps generally follow the local property laws.

Physical Description: Red kavourps have red scales and tall, bulky bodies, making them bigger than other kavourps.

Relations: Red kavourps do not get along well with other male kavourps. In fact, if a red kavourp finds another male on his territory, he will often attack the intruder. The exception to this rule is his children. A red kavourp will allow children to live on his property until they are full adults at the age of three. Most red kavourps do not extend this male hatred to other races, but some do.
Red kavourps treat females very well, allowing yellow kavourps to live freely on their territory. Like most kavourps, however they are suspicious of purple kavourps. Similar to their hatred of males, their love of females sometimes extends to females of other races.
Besides all of the issues that come from their sexism, red kavourps tend to like people of other races, but other races tend to find them strange.

Alignment: Because of their aggressive and territorial nature, red kavourps are rarely good, but besides that they can be found anywhere on the spectrum.

Adventurers: Red kavourps rarely adventure, so those that do tend to be eccentric individuals.

Blue Kavourp

Blue kavourps are nomadic, male kavourps. They are entirely male and can be born from any male and a yellow female, as well as through a purple kavourps asexual reproduction.

Personality: Blue kavourps are nice, agreeable people. They can be very forgiving, but occasionally judgmental. They highly value people, often at the cost of their ambitions. They live up to their race's nomadic traditions more than any other color and almost never stay in one place for too long.

Physical Description: Blue kavourps have blue scales, and skinny limbs and frames. They are slightly taller than yellow and purple kavourps.

Relations: Blue kavourps try to avoid red kavourps, viewing them as aggressively violent, but blue kavourps get along well with blue and yellow kavourps. Like all kavourps, they can be suspicious of purple kavoups, but blue kavourps are often openminded enough to trust them. A blue kavourp often meets a female kavourps and travels with her until one of them dies. A blue kavourp travels with his children, until they are three and they move on as adults.
Blue kavoups get along well with other races.

Alignment: Blue kavourps are often good, but they can be found anywhere on the spectrum.

Adventurers: Blue kavourps are some of the most nomadic kavourps, making them the some of the most likely kavourps to adventure.

Yellow Kavourp

Yellow kavourps switch between nomadic and sedentary. They are the only color of kavourps to have both males and females. They can be born from any male and a yellow female, as well as through a purple kavourps asexual reproduction.

Personality: Yellow kavourps are free-spirited and creative. They are lovers of nature, but they can be submissive. Yellow kavourps are very spontaneous, because they changes their lifestyle so often.
Female yellow kavourps will spend most of their lives traveling. Occasionally, they will stop to stay with a red kavourp, but unless they have young children, they often leave. Male yellow kavourps do travel, but if they can they will stay with a red kavourp for as long as possible.

Physical Description: Yellow kavourps have yellow scales and thick frames. They are shorter than red and blue kavorups. Male and female yellow kavourps look so similar that not even kavourps can tell the difference.

Relations: Female yellow kavourps get along with all kavourps except for purple kavourps. Female yellow kavourps normally travel, until they meet a blue kavourp and mate for life, or they find a red kavourp's territory and stay there for a while, mating with the red and male yellow kavourps. Most of them will not stay on red territory for long, unless they want help raising children. Some will stay until one of them, usually the red kavourp, dies.
Male yellow kavourps do not like purple kavourps, but they get along well with blue and yellow kavourps. They have a strange relationship with red kavourps. A male yellow kavourp will pretend to be a female yellow kavourp in order to live on the red kavourp's territory with all of his females. If a male yellow kavourp gets caught, by a red kavourp, he is often killed.
Yellow kavourps like all races, but many of them find their concept of gender confusing.

Alignment: Female yellow kavourps can be of any alignment. Male yellow kavourps are often sneaky and chaotic.

Adventurers: A yellow kavourp that is not staying on a red kavourp's territory is traveling and ready for adventure.

Purple Kavourp

Purple kavourps are the rarest kavourps. They often live their lives alone or hidden as a yellow kavourp. They are all female and are born from a any male and a purple female. The birth of a purple kavourp is seen as a bad omen, and if she is born on a red kavourp's territory, the child is often killed, unless the mother runs away with the baby. Only purple kavourps know why kavourps are born purple.

Personality: Since many purple are dangerously discriminated against, they tend not to trust anyone. They live their lives in secret as a yellow kavourp, until their children are born, when they must leave or sacrifice them.
Open and accepted purple kavourps live their lives very whimsically, even more free-spirited than the yellow kavourps.

Physical Description: Purple kavourps have purple scales and thick frames. Besides the scale color, they look just like yellow kavourps.
A purple kavourp that does not successfully mate for a year, may become asexually fertilized. This child is always either red, blue, or yellow.

Relations: Purple kavourps tend to not get along with red and yellow kavourps. Occasionally, there are exceptions, especially with male yellow kavourps. Some blue kavourps mix well with purple kavourps, but not all of them. Because of this, most purple kavourps pretend to be yellow.
Their issues with other kavourps often makes them distrusting of other races.

Alignment: Because of their secret nature, purple kavourps tend to chaotic.
