I haven't worked out all the details for how helpful this is (I'm sure someone with more character optimization skill could do so), but could a spell-stitched undead with some classes in wizard take the Ultimate Magus PrC? The spell-stitched template says that it allows you "cast spells like a sorceror". The advantage of this over other UM builds would be that at each of the levels where the UM gives a level boost to the lowest casting class, they would all go to wizard since their isn't any pesky second arcane class to soak them up. Is this legal, and if it is, how well does it actually work? (I imagine that what undead one picks might matter a lot).

Spell-stiched gives SLAs, not spells, so it doesn't fill the pre-reqs.

since there isnt a "pesky second arcane class" then obviously it doesnt work, seeing as it is required to have two. shoot, just read that dhavaer covered it.
P.S. woulda been cool though
