Hiya guys, sorry I've not been on the forum for a while, I've been a bit under the weather. With that in mind though I would like to congratulate everyone on yet more awesome base classes!

I would vote for:

1st: Figure Skater by fuzzysora: I really love the imagery of this one, the idea of skating through my foes at a fast pace while taking them out with awesome figure skating moves is just cool (pun intended). The execution works well to my mind as well. Great job!

2nd: Princess by Zaydos: As always a bit of a long read to go through everything and I'll be honest I'm not normally a fan of the "OMGZ its so massive" approach to classes (not because I don't admire the work, but more because I simply don't have time to read and then rate them properly). Anyway, time is something I've had quite a bit of recently, so I made myself a hot chocolate and sat down and gave this one a long go over and well... its fantastic. Exactly what you would want from a class with such a name.

3rd: Feychild by ezkajii: I just really loved the idea of fairy godmothers and for me exploring the fey is always interesting. This is one of those classes I would probably make an npc out of in order to create an interesting encounter or companion.

Great work to everyone else as well, it was actually pretty tough to pick which classes I liked best!

1. The Princess. I think it does a really great job filling an underrepresented niche.
2. The Floramancer I like the mechanic and I love the idea of being able to port in so much floral mythology into the game.
3. The Figure Skater. A very interesting fusion of mechanics, but a few disjointed bits within the flavor cohesion that makes it take third place for me.

1. Dark Child. I love LoL. So seeing this as a class just made me very happy.

2. The Princess. Fantastic work by Zaydos as always.

3. Feychild. I dig it.

1st - Floramancer. The biggest problem I had with most of the classes was the sheer number of abilities :smalltongue: this one sticks to a simple progression, and I very much like what's there. The unified system for choosing flower powers is pretty cool too. I wish there were more flower-powers to choose from, and without, this is a pretty close pick vs Princess. Still, I'm not totally comfortable rewarding based on volume, and similarly, I try not to condemn based on volume, so this ended up on top.

2nd - Princess. Almost all of the abilities are relevant, flavorful, and likely to come up in your average game. It's on the border line of "so many abilities you'll probably forget some in game", but I feel like if you're roleplaying a princess, you'll ask "wait, can I do _____ because I'm a princess?", look at your sheet, and be like "oh yeah, I can". So, points for that  As noted in the above, though, it still felt a bit crowded, so it takes second.

3rd - Feychild. This one does pretty well in terms of a few good abilities, but it seems a bit too strong for a base class - Sorcerer casting, Cleric domain-type stuff and Turning, Druid companion-type stuff, added AC and DR... It's a bit too much. Overall, a nice, flavorful class, and I appreciate the work put in, so it takes third.

1st Feychild: A fairly well balanced caster, and one that appeals to my love of the fay. In the end it wins because it is the one class in the contest I'd be likely to just allow into a game (even Princess is going to be highly dependent upon the type of game I want to run). While there are things that worry me about it (at-will out of combat healing to full hp as a minor benie at 16th level, at-will out of combat ability damage healing at 18th) they are not instant nos or guaranteed game breakers

2nd Figure Skater: A close 2nd for me, and almost first. Lots of options, feels different and unique as opposed to just being another caster. While I do feel Blow them a Kiss shouldn't be able to be a move action, and the triple and quadruple axel are available too early, as a whole the class was interesting and unique.

3rd Floramancer: The class shows promise and could be made into something really neat with more flowers to choose from and the inability to stack the same flower effect (DR 8/- at Lv 2, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope; 4 free trip attempts/round at Lv 2, etc). That said with some work it could be a really cool class.

1st: Figure skater I love that it's a different kind of martial class. It's not just a fighter or rogue variant, and it's definitely viable in its own style of fighting. I love the idea of skimming around enemies and slashing them up, all while doing elaborate spins and jumps. It lets be on the front lines with so much grace. Lots of options to begin with and even more with the wintery/ cold theme. I'll definitely be playing as one when all is said and done.

2nd: Princess Dense, flavorful, and well made; I promise I'm not describing a cake. Possibly the only thing that keeps this in second to me is that I subjectively like the concept of playing a figure skater better. While I like the ideas of the oaths and vows, I've never personally been big on that sort of character restriction. That said, this is a class that I would probably give a shot, at the very least as the warrior variant. It's hard to see just jumping into a campaign and saying "by the way, I'm a princess," without coordinating with fellow players and the DM first. It's clear that a lot of work went into this, and I appreciate the attention to detail in the lore-based aspects. Zaydos always pulls through with amazing homebrew.

3rd: Feychild I like the flavor and depth, but it seems perhaps too powerful to me. That said, all the ideas that make it seem that way (spontaneous casting + domain-like bonuses + turning and rebuking + companions, etc.) all make sense in this class. The balance just seems like it needs a tweak to me.

Honorable Mention: Floramancer I know it doesn't really count for anything, but I really did appreciate this class, it fits the theme great. I'd love to see this updated with even more flowers and their respective powers. I like that it's not exactly a caster, or a fighting type. Some of the effects were a little vague (what is a dirty trick? am I just missing something?), but in general it's nice and simple and effective. I'm not sure how it'd fair in in-game combat, but I'd be willing to give it a shot.
