So I want this class to be a melee fighter with battle field control and a bit of out of combat utility. What I also want is incentive to stay with the class all the way, so good scaling.
I don't want this class to end up being a spellcaster.
The classes main stats should be Strength and Con.
thanks

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: A Shadow Born Warrior is proficient with all simple and martial weapons, and with light and medium armor but not shields.

Child of Shadow (Ex) At first level, a Shadow Born Warrior learns to manipulate shadows to his will. His shadow no longer obeys the conventional rules of light and the Shadow Born Warrior can manipulate it as he wishes. He can enlarge, minimize, elongate, move, and rotate his shadow, but it must stay on a 2d plane. He controls his shadow as a free action.
In addition to this he can craft any one slashing simple or martial weapon out of shadow. The weapon is considered magic for the purposes of overcoming damage reduction and is +1. This bonus increases every 5 levels to a max of +5 at level 20. The Summoned weapon can be different every time, but they must be slashing. At level 5 the shadow weapon gains the frost enchantment, at level 10 it gains the keen enchantment, at level 15 it gains the ghost touch enchantment, and at level 20 it frost is replaced with Icy Burst.
At level Five all sources of light within 15 feet of the Shadow Born warrior are reduced to shadowy illumination. His shadow can now freely act on the 3d plane. He can suppress the light reduction as a free action.
At level Ten the Shadow born warrior can manipulate his shadow to grant him several special abilities a number of times per day equal to half his class level rounded down. He can only use one ability at a time.
Wings of Shadow: The Shadow Born Warrior wills his shadow to form large batlike wings. He gains fly speed of 60 feet (average) The wings last for 1 minute per shadow born warrior level
Shadow Duplicate: The Shadow Born Warrior’s shadow rises up and forms as a shadowy duplicate of it’s owner. It act on the Shadow Born Warriors initiative and can freely attack but only deals half damage and all damage that it deals is cold damage. It can’t talk and lasts for 10 minutes. The Clones can’t make clones of themselves.
Binding Darkness: The Shadow born warrior commands his shadow to bind his enemies. He must make a melee touch attack on his target, and then his shadow latches onto his target. His shadow then attempts to grapple/bind the target. It’s grapple bonus is equal to the Shadow Born Warriors class level + his Strength modifier. If the grapple check succeeds the shadow can then start to constrict it’s grappled opponent, dealing 1d10 + the shadowborn warriors strength modifier damage each round. Because it’s the Shadow Born Warrior’s shadow that is doing the grappling, he is free to act normally, but he can’t move more than 10 feet away from the grappled opponent or his shadow will let the opponent go. You can only grapple one opponent at a time.
At 15th level the shadow born warrior’s abilities improve.
Wings of Shadow: Fly speed is now 80 feet (Good)
Shadow Duplicate: The Shadow Duplicate now does full damage; half of it’s damage is cold and half is normal, and can talk. (It’s voice is identical to it’s owners). The duplicate can’t make duplicates of itself.
Binding Darkness: The Shadow can now grapple a number of opponents equal to the shadow born warriors base attack bonus divided by Five and rounded down. the constrict damage also deals an extra d8 of cold damage. In addition the Shadow Born Warriors can now move within 20 feet from each opponent.
Darkness: The Shadowborn warrior can now cast Deeper Darkness with a caster level equal to his shadow born warrior level. The Shadow Born Warrior can see perfectly in his own darkness.
At 20th level the Shadow Born Warrior’s can use all of his abilities at once
Wings of Shadow: Fly speed is now 100 feet (Perfect) He can now fly for one hour per shadow born warrior level
Shadow Duplicate: The Shadowborn Warrior can now create four duplicates of himself. These duplicates can’t make duplicates of themselves. They all act on the Shadow Born warriors initiative and last for ten minutes.
Binding Darkness: The Shadow Born Warrior can now grapple a number of people equal to half of his shadow born warrior level, and those that are grappled must make a fortitude save equal to 10+ half of the Shadow born warriors level+his Strength modifier or be paralyzed for 1d4 rounds. The constriction damage increases to 2d10.
Darkness: The Shadow Born Warriors darkness gets a +10 to resist being dispelled and is no longer countered by light spells.

Sight of Noct (Ex) At third level a shadow born warrior gains low-light and dark vision out to 30 feet. If you already posses low-light and/or dark vision or gain it from another source it’s effective distance is increased by 30 feet. At 11th level, you become able to see perfectly in complete darkness, even magical darkness, out to 60 feet.

Melt Into Shadows (Ex) At 7th level a Shadow Born Warrior can “melt” into his own shadow. He can now travel along the ground as the spell Amorphous Form. However he keeps his natural shadows shape and size.

Whispers (Ex) At eighth level, a Shadow Born Warrior can hear anything within a 60 foot radius as long as it’s within 5 feet of a shadow/darkness. This is a constant unintelligible background noise unless the Shadow born warrior is focusing on the ability. When he does so he must make a Concentration check DC 20 to pick out an individual sound/sounds. He must have a specific person or target in mind to listen to. This does not function as blindsense.

Power of Shadow (Ex) At level 13 The Shadow Born Warrior can now manipulate darkness itself, not just shadows. All light within 20 feet of him is reduced to shadowy illumination. He can freely manipulate any shadows and darkness within 20 feet of himself. He can suppress the light reduction as a free action. Any light source within 30 feet of him has it’s radius reduced by half.

Walker of the Void (Ex): Once a Shadow Born Warrior reaches 11th level he can use the spell Shadow Walk with a caster level equal to his Shadow Born Warrior level. He may use this class feature
once per week.

Attack from the shadows (Ex) At 16th level the Shadow Born Warrior has the option to attack someone's shadow rather than their physical form. He may only do this with is Shadow crafted weapons. The attack resolves as a melee touch attack, and only works on beings that are connected to their shadows. So flying creatures are immune to this ability.

Echoes (Ex) At 17th level the Shadow Born Warrior can now hear anything within 1 mile of himself as long as it’s within 5 feet of a shadow/darkness. The concentration check to pick up individual sounds is 30. This ability does not function like blindsense or blindsight.

Warrior of the Void (Ex) at 19th level the Shadow Born Warrior is now so attuned to the shadows around him, that whenever he is not in total light he gains blindsight out to 30 feet. He can now also manipulate shadows and darkness within 60 feet of himself and reduce all light sources within that 60 feet to ¼ of their radius.

Finally a shadow warrior fitting for its name.

A few notes.

1. Formatting: Child of Shadow is hard to read. Use Bolded/Itallic feature names + Newlines.
2. In practice. Ghosttouch starts getting relevant approx. at 5th level. The majority of gametime revolves around levels 5-15. This means that players would almost never get to enjoy it. I suggest mopving it to 10th level and finding something more thematically appropriate and more useful than Keen (overlaps with Imp. Crit feat anyway).
3. Walker of the Void should have increasing #uses with level increase.
4. Wings of Shadow: what's the usage frequency? (daily I presume, but you'd probably want to specify)
5. Shadow Duplicate: ditto.
6. Unless I missed something, Sight of Noct makes the clause for seeing in your own darkness (level 15) moot.

Also move Icy Burst to 15th and find something else for 20th.

Also, dead levels are not fun.
Move the shadow abilities (Dimming included) one level down, as well as 2nd Sight of Noct to 12th and Warrior of the Void to 18th.
This will leave only 6th level empty, but with a 2nd attack gained and a feat, it won't be too noticeable.
