I am attempting to change my campaign over to 5e rules, but Incarnum magic is a central point for one of my races and I would like to know if I need to switch them up or if a source exists.

Tried, failed terribly. Its hard to figure out with the non magic item centric gameplay. If you do grant abilities that function like magic items, you break the gameplay balance pretty easily so its really hard to get it so that you don't ruin the game.

You should take a look to Akashic Mysteries for Pathfinder.

Truth be told, just by adjusting the class chassis and a few other numbers of the class (such as essentia investment values and just the general benefits of the soulmelds) you should be able to translate Incarnum to 5th edition relatively easily.

A bigger concern, I think, would be the simple fact that the list of soulmelds would need to be massively pruned due to, quite frankly, being mainly a list of stacking bonuses. At least the incarnate list that is, the totemist list would be pretty much alright with a numbers pass.

I had a mooch through the Index (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?396519-D-amp-D-5e-Homebrew-Compendium) and noticed this (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?397973-Radiance-of-Chakra-for-5e-D-amp-D-%28v-2-0%29-%28Under-New-Management%29). I don't know if it's what you're looking for, though.

I was working on a conversion before, but got distracted by other things. I'll probably pick it up again soon.

Here's what I had: https://www.dropbox.com/s/j5gxscpc57teeuh/Incarnum%20Next.doc?dl=0

It's incomplete, and the soulmeld descriptions still reference multiple points of essentia, even though I moved to a binary "essentia or no essentia" model for the class descriptions, but maybe helpful as a start?
