If you don't answer by tomorrow, I'll send the llamatars after you.

Ahh, not the llamatars... Lets go with alarra and... Haruki kun? That sounds about right.

The minion eyes Catseye2121 as he thinks hard.

Very impressive, Ebil Llama Lord. You hit me where my knowledge is quite sparse: the place known as "The Town". However, I did venture into there once, awhile back and seem to recall something of the saiyan named Kyrian, and his overly large sword (unlike mine, totally wieldable, and if you believe that, I have some lovely oceanfront property in Arizona to sell you), and I do believe he was... from the future, with his mother being Alarra. However, I do not think the father was Haruki-kun, I want to say it was... El J? Not that I know much of that llama, so I am unsure. Though, I think it will be safe enough to Disagree.

Atreyu the Masked LLama
2008-08-07, 10:38 PM
Well done my ...moon headed minion? You have correctly discerned the truth from the lie. It was Alarra and El Jaspero who birthed young Mister Kyrian.

I'm gonna need someone to update the board. I'd do it myself, but I'm trying to get pictures of Spider Man who is fighting The Joker and Hellbaby outside my apt window.

Mustiado, I need a category and a square.

1) Cut to the Case
2) Destroying your Village by bedtime!
3) Follow up to the Saiyan
4) Pie-rat!

ummmmm....... I think I forgot the question. That's right, I asked Exachix about a week ago what a good Cassie question would be, then forgot. Oh bother. Okay, no need to panick. I'm just PM Exy and see what he said. Until I get a response, I'll just poke at Haruki with the +1 Badger on a Stick.

The host apologies for slow response due to Real Life.

The question is "how many feud style feuds has Castaras been involved in?"

Helgraf
2008-08-10, 03:30 AM
His lip curls slightly as he considers. He reaches up dramatically to take an envelope that is perched on his forehead, peering at the wax seal briefly before lifting it away. Taking out the note inside, he nods silently, then scribbles something on the obverse, tucking it back into the envelop and sticking it back on his forehead.

"Well, if we include that nonsense about squid bones, I will have to say three."

Castaras

DING! Correct!!

Castaras was indeed in three feud style fiascos. She has at least 2 victories under her belt.

I need someone to update the board and its time for Griever to pick a square.

1) Eyes like a Hawk.
2) Destroying your Village by bedtime!
3) Follow up to the Saiyan situation
4) You'll Ruki the day you messed with this angel.

Er.... yes!

http://www.poster.net/malevich-kasimir/malevich-kasimir-black-square-3500623.jpg

You have to look closely at it.... and then turn away. If no one looks at it, it turns round! Which brings us to a bigger question: If a square turns round when no one is looking.... does it make a sound?

Ta da!

I don't know what categories Mr Llama has prepared though. We've had questions about me (two of them!) and a question about Mr Kyrian, and one about Miss Castaras as well. So the question about Case should be safe. We wouldn't want Mr Casey to be left out now would we? Even if he does say he hates us all, I don't believe him.

Funny story.
You know the band The Replacements with Paul Westerburg?
The band wasn't called The Replacements origanlly. They were called in to play for another band that cancelled at the last minute. The MC, when introducing them, forgot the name of their band and simply dubbed them The Replacements.

Okay, Case Dallas-Dakota, "Which forum member is related to CaseRadikal Skippy?"

Hmmmmmm...... I ....hmmmmmmmmmmmmm..... this was unexpected. This question has taken almost 2 weeks to answer and as much as I hate to prolong it even further, I'm in a bit of a predicament. The hint wasn't meant to be slipped to the contestant, although I didn't mention that to DD. So after more thought than I should have put into a SMBG I'm afraid that the question can't count. So I'm going to be holding a lightning round! The next question can be answered by anyone. Mustiado will choose to agree or disagree with the answer of the first person to answer the question.

I'm sorry for this, but I think its the best solution that I have for both contestants.

Ooooo! Oooooo! I knows I does! You gave a great hint Mr Llama with a "lightning round"

WXDruid is a druid! She can make it rain! She can make the winds blow! She can call forked lightning (and knife lightning, and even spoon lightning!) She can make the sun shine when I want to go out and play and my mommy says that it is too wet.

WXDruid is a Weather eXpert!
Thats what WX stands for!

Woo hoo!! Mordokai with the topic pick.

I can't pick the topic because I know the difficulty of the questions. This way, whether you get an easy one or a hard one depends on you. For the record, Confused Kender Gender is probably the hardest.

Mordokai, I'm going to post quotes from one of our many various werewolf games. Your job is to figure out which game these quotes came from. Good luck!!

Hiya Mordokai. Here we go. This game is considered a classic. See if you can figure out which one it is by the clues given.

The silverback wolf, grizzled, scarred and perhaps a bit slow for his years howls his communication.

* Helgraf howls for the blood of Happy City *

So you are "certain" I'm a paladin. Are you claiming to be the devil then?

And your logic is flawed. If you remember, I posted first as well. That would mean according to your logic that we are both guilty or we are both innocent.

I agree with the undead-were-hippo-wolf.

If you are Fullbladder
*Filled with new found power and authority, you hold a paw out and the bloodletter stops, another flick of your wrist and the Beast who towers over you bows humbly. Tormsskull stands up in front of you*

"I will not die in vain"

"Yes, yes you will" You spit, more of a command than a statement. Dark power flows through your body and you force him to knell. You stand before the fully grown man trembling and reach out with your magic for emotions and snap his ties with righteousness. You weave new ones, ones of unbending loyalty. You then bite him*
"Now go infect, the brotherhood of paladins."
*As your mind slave goes off you feel a soft satisfaction in your bones knowing what you have done, while he will be always loyal to you, you left his hate in tact. He will be the death of himself, a more cruel punishment you can not think of for a mortal.

Now, the night is still dark, and villagers are ripe for the picking.

Now you hunt.

If you are Tormsskull
Tonight is not your night. As the wolves set upon you the power of the Light falters, you call, but you call in vain.

Darkness falls.

Today the Sun does not rise, instead it hides behind dark clouds as a child would hide behind it's mother.<<<Darkness falls>>

Wolves... Cities... Paladins... Hippos... I seem to recall reading some of that game thread before I started playing WW's (to try and get a good hold on how the game is to be played well) and it does seem to follow from my memory...

What does our ebil host say to that?

Atreyu the Masked LLama
2008-08-28, 03:45 PM
DING!! Correct.

The reason you weren't invited, Mordokai, is that you were still in training at the time and to be honest, what happened wasn't pretty. In fact, it was very very messy near the end, but its okay because it was one of the most intense, but in a good way, werewolf games I've played in. I miss Death. I miss him a lot.

Well, Mustiado is up. He needs to pick a square and a category.
Because I'm feeling nostolgic now, all the categories will be previous hosts of Playground Squares. If he wants to, though, he can pick one of the previous categories. He can even choose "Where in Werewolf" again if he'd like.

1) Bookman
2) Dark Cloud 2 fanboy
3) Alarra
4) Atreyu the Masked Llama
5) Sneak

A) Sailing with Ceika.
B) She'll make a lyre out of an honest man.
C) Where in Werewolf?
D) Confused Kender Gender.

I like the "Where in Werewolf" idea for a category, but I'm curious what other squares/watchers think?

As for Shar vs ummmm....Yondalla, I think it could be amusing, but I'll leave it to the others to decide. I'm just the host, I don't plan these things. I hear that Bookman does, though. He plots them out in secret chats.

"Why hello everyone! This game appears to be running well. I'll be your guest host for the weekend while the llama is off enjoying Dragoncon." *wishes she could go*

"Okay....a question for Zeb....but he knows everything about me already. Hmm....I think for this I'm going to have to reach waaaaay back to the early days..."

"In the very earliest WW game, back before we had numbers and kept track, before they're even listed in the archives, I was one of the lovers. Who was the other?"

*blows Zeb a kiss while she awaits his answer*

Zeb The Troll
2008-08-29, 08:16 PM
Ooooooh! I know this one! We talked about this one since we've been married. It dates back before my time though, so I may get the name slightly wrong.

The story goes that the other lover was a wolf and so they decided that they were going to rule the world. He gave her the wolf list and they schemed to try to make it so that they were the only two survivors. Unfortunately, he got lynched before that could come to fruition and all their plans were for naught.

The name? Oh, right, it was Lord Nathanel if I'm not mistaken. Often criticized for forgetting to put that extra "i" in his name when he made his account.

Mustiado
2008-08-29, 10:02 PM

Okay. Unfortunately, this question goes a long way back. Fortunately, Zar Peter has been here awhile.

Unfortunately, the game known as Fortunately/Unfortunately passed away after 5 threads. Fortunately, it has recently been revived.

Do you know who originally introduced the SMBG to the game of Fortunately/Unfortunately? After watching a few threads of it in action, it seemed tailor-made for its Masonic creator.

Fortunately I lied the last two questions so no one will know if I'm lying now or not.

Unfortunately I just told all that I don't know the answer.

Fortunately they will get confused because of my writing.

Unfortunately the thread is deleted so I can't look.

Fortunately I can ask the Llama for hints.

Unfortunately I didn't do it.

Fortunately I could lucky say the correct answer.

Unfortunately that only happens once in a million times.

Once in a million? That's my chance!

My mommy makes a wonderful apple pie. Having a piece of that with strawberries and hokey-pokey icecream is my most favoritest food in the world! The nice warm apples, with the slightest hint of cinnamon, and then the ice-cream melting just enough to be easy to eat, but not going all puddly in the bottom of the bowl, and the strawberries with a wonderful tang..... ohhh -

Wait. Where was I?

Oh yes. Alarra. While its not as nice as my Mommy's apple pie, everybody loves Alarra's puddings! Chocolate pudding. It is guaranteed to be completely non-fattening - even if you eat it as well as look at it.

So thats Alarra's domain. Pudding.

I suppose I have no choice, but to award Congratulation Cakes to everyone. Congratulations! Unfortunately, I don't have them with me, but I'll get them to you. We are going to need 2 more contestants and 9 more squares!! Please remember that if were a square this game, you need to wait 24 hours before becoming a square in the next game.

Huzzah!!

Welcome to the 74th game of Playground Squares! This round features the beautiful but evil lass, RabbitHoleLost and the Killer Kitty, Reinholdt. We've got quite the collection of squares this round, as well and they are itching to show off their playground knowledge.

As always, the first contestant to choose a square will go first.

Here are today's categories.

1) Before the Emperor
2) Arts and Crafty Kitty Comic
3) Who's avatar?
4) That's not what "Shipping" means!!

"I will, thanks." Takes hose, takes aim at Meyers, reaches for handle to turn it on.

"Now you'll find out why wet fur is horrible." Turns hose on and...

starts flying every which way in what I like to call classic Disney fashion. Every square player, every contestant, host, camera, audience member, and wire starts getting soaked, except for Cristo Meyers. Reinholdt holds on for dear life.

"Gah! Whiplash! Whiplash! Turn it off! TURN IT OFF!"

Someone finally manages to turn the hose off, but by then everything is drenched, except for Meyers who remains miraculously dry. Reinholdt looks around.

"I think we're going to need a new studio."
