The deep mists is a game where you are in a room...
filled with mist.

What does the room contain? will the mystery unravel?

You tell me...

A post consists of (in this order):

1. The result of what the last players' action was.

2. What the atmosphere/emotion is now.

3. Your action.

Let's start here:

You wake up.

It is dank and misty.

I stand up and walk forward.

You trip over a sleeping grizzly bear, waking it up.

The bear is quite angry.

I take out my flute and play a relaxing tune to the bear.

The bear drowsily goes back to sleep.
You are nervous.
I slowly, slowly back away from it.

You trip over the bear's mate.

I panic and run as fast as I can away from both bears.

The bears trip on other bears.

Bizarre and unholy carnage ensues.

I grab a mop and clean up the mess.

The dead bears reanimate into zombie bears and attack you.

It is a pretty gruesome sight.

I cast Chain Lightning on the zombie bears.

The bears get fried, and the abominable smell of charred bloody zombie bears fills the room.

I start pounding on the walls, searching for an exit, while trying to keep myself from vomiting.

I trigger a trapdoor accidentally, and fall down it while quickly vomiting.
I begin to explore where I fell.

You tell into what looks like an exact replica of the room, with chalk-outlines where the fried zombie bears used to be.

There is still a heavy mist; Just the thought of being trapped forever in the endless mist-room brings chill down your spine.

I light a torch.

It turns out the mist was really a highly volatile gas. There is a massive explosion, which knocks you against the wall and into unconsciousness.

You wake up to a really nasty headache and everything looking a lot more blurry.

I scream.

You notice you can't scream. As you look down, about half your body, including your lungs, seems to be missing.

The room suddenly gets colder. Was that bright light there just now?

I die.

You wake up as a skeleton warrior.

You are in a room with an undead army. A necromancer cackles at the top of an altar.

I approach the necromancer.

Prince Zahn

The Necromancer offers you to dance.

You have enough sentience within you to get a hunch that she likes you. like, like-likes you.

I, too, partake in the Necromancer's dark ritual.

A ghastly waltz sounds as you slowly dance around the room (which suddenly looks a lot more like a ballroom) and eventually end up in front of the altar.

I touch the altar with a bony hand.

OK so this thread bombed. Ok with everyone if I delete it?

Can't we just start over?

I vote for starting over!

Yeah... Sure!

You wake up in a mist- filled room.

I jump and try to grab hold of the ceiling.

Prince Zahn

You grab grasp into something, but it is fleeting like sand in your palms as you slowly sink back.

Strange, ominous giggling voices sound as you descend to the ground.

I get anxious and ask "W-what's so funny? Who's there?!"

A voice cries out "The answer to both questions is...your weiner!"

The sound of several people incessantly giggling fills the area.

I look around for some sort of door, to escape this godforsaken room.

Dire Moose
2015-09-28, 02:50 AM
You find a door and run through it!

Unfortunately, it closes and seals itself behind you, trapping you in total darkness.
You can see nothing, but you can hear strange, unnerving sounds. You can't figure out where the source is, and it's almost like it's coming from all around you.

I light a torch.

The sounds turn out to be created by a giant slug-like creature with dozens of arms where one would expect its eyestalks to be. Well, that's not good.

I throw my torch at the slugbeast, then run as far from it as I can.

Prince Zahn
2015-09-28, 06:35 PM
Upon running away into the dark and misty halls, the slug slowly but surely pursues, breaking walls as you curve around them.

You stumble upon a medieval-style armory.

I pick up the best sword and shield I can find, ready for action.

Hexblade
2015-09-28, 06:40 PM
The best sword you can find is a rusty dagger, and the shield is a wooden plate.

I cast Disintegration on the slug.

Dire Moose
2015-09-28, 08:38 PM
There is a horrible squelching sound as the giant slug explodes into a disgusting mess of slime-covered chunks.

The walls, floor, and ceiling are covered in slimy gore, as are you. The hideous stench is overpowering.

I throw up.

Your vomit hits the floor... and immediately reforms into a human-shaped creature. It hisses, spraying chunks of breakfast at you.

I slash at the Vomit Elemental with my rusty dagger!

Prince Zahn
2015-10-05, 02:45 AM
You are in luck! As it turns out, your rusty dagger has the Elementalbane property!
As you defeat the vomit elemental, a gate you never knew was there spontaneously opens behind you.

I walk through the gate to the next room, because it wreaks in the old room.

Dire Moose
2015-10-08, 11:42 PM
You walk into the next room to find that there is no floor!

You are falling down through the mist. The wind is whipping past you and you are terrified of where you might land.

I reach for something to grab on to.

You grab a... tentacle? The slimy appendage quickly pulls you onto a small ledge, where some kind of half-ooze squid has made its lair. Before you can do anything, it speaks:

"YOu gOt lUCkY thErE YoUngstEr. I'Ve sEEn maNY A Poor fELLoW fAlL tO HiS dEaTh therE."

I ask the slimesquid how it got on that ledge.

Silent_Interim
2015-10-10, 09:39 AM
"I fELL, DuH." The slime squid opens what looks like a bulbous eye and says i'M gOIng tO EAt yOu NOW."

I scream and jump back off the ledge.

As You scream and call, You find and catch a shiny coin. You notice intantly that there's a trail of shining coins and gems floating in mid air that point to a specific direction.
I catch as many coins on the trail as I can, in dire hope it'll save me, or that they would at least slow my fall enough to survive.

Razanir
2015-10-10, 01:08 PM
During your fall, you collect 100 coins and get an extra life. So even though you died upon impact, you're still alive to explore.

Despite knowing you hit something, the fog here is too dense to see anything, even your own hand.

I try to think of a test to know that at least I exist.

Inevitability
2015-10-10, 01:25 PM
Using basic cartesian logic you determine that since you are wondering whether you exist, you have to exist.

With that out of the way, I start moving in a random direction.
