Chaond

When some unlucky berk gets implanted with a slaadi egg, the result is usually a huge hole punched through the chest with a young slaad coming out. The little biter then pikes it, and the sod ends up in the dead book. But sometimes, the taint of chaos stays, and a few generations later, a chaond is born. These bloods have change in their blood – literally.

Chaonds have hair and skin that slowly shifts colour, usually from shades of green to blue, and eyes with black centres surrounded by green. The savage body shape and the posture of a chaond belies their sheer agility, and an addle-cove that thinks that one of these bloods is a typical lunking brute will have a rude awakening.

Chaonds are outgoing and whimsical folk, that live for the moment and are naturally social, though they do have a tendancy to foam up those around them due to their fits of emotion and not bothering with social customs. Most of them have a gravelly voice when they open their boneboxes.

Chaonds are fiercely independent, and many are planeswalkers, exploring the multiverse and are comfortable with much of the terrain on the chaotic side of the ring.

As a chaond you have -

Ability Score Increase – You dexterity increases by 2 and your constitution increases by 1. Don’t let their blocky features and thick chests fool you - Chaonds are often some of the most agile cutters on the planes.
Size – Chaonds range from 5ft1 to 5ft10 in height, and weigh in the region of 140 to 160 pounds. Your size is medium
Age – Chaonds reach adulthood at age 17 and can live for over 100 years
Speed – your base speed is 30 feet
Darkvision – You have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern colour in darkness, only shades of grey
Grace of Limbo - You are proficient in Acrobatics, and have advantage to grapple checks made against you. You can also add half your proficiency bonus added down to dexterity checks made to escape the restrained condition.
Taint of Chaos - You have resistance to Thunder damage, and either Fire or Cold damage.
Telepath – You know the missive (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?398291-(PEACH)-5E-Psion-with-Complete-Power-List) talent.
Language – You know Common and Slaad

The Chaond appeared in the 3.5 Monster Manual II and were a PC race in the Planeswalker 3.5 update.

This is my take on the chaond. The red and blue slaadi are too powerful for a PC race, so this is an alternative along with the Neraphim. The 3.5 version didn't have too much that hinted at slaadi influence mechanics wise - the resistances and the missive talent are an attempt to give that feel.
