Just a little writing game I have thought of. In the thread we get a small glimpse of other people characters.

Think of a situation or use someone else's, and have one or more of your characters you played in RPGs act accordingly.

It can be anything, really, even unrelated to the setting where the character(s) belong.
It's probably funnier if it's something we can relate to as real people, like waiting in line to the store or watching a football game, but just do whatever you like, really.

Example (some recent characters of mine):

Road trip, characters in a car, radio is playing AC-DC maybe just a bit too loud.

Edgar (middle-aged human mystic, Dragonlance, CG)
He totally owns the car and is driving. Sings along with the songs and headbangs during solos risking to lose control of the car. He will definitely attempt small talks with everyone. So, what do you like to do, how'd you get here, yeah me too" etc

Ramesh (young black human, slayer, Golarion, LN)
Sits on the backseat near the door because in case of emergency this will allow him to escape.
Doesn't talk much as he's too busy looking at the road to not lose track of his location.
Will occasionally comment an ongoing conversation to not make it look like he doesn't care (which is probably the case).

Budo (adult fat gnome, beguiler, Ravenloft, CN)
Doesn't really like the music but he will try to avoid conflict most likely making gaffes in the process "yeah, it's not bad, somewhat reminds me of when my granpa had a cold and his voice was just like this guy's. Cool." Tells jokes or wants to make games to occupy time.
Will sneakily try to lower the volume at every occasion using stealth or even illusions. Pets and feeds his rat familiar.

Feel free to join any situation or create more regardless of the number of particpant. The car can accomodate for hundreds of adventurers and have a whole lot of drivers.

Woody Deacon (young 6' human mage, "chaotic evil", black trench coat)
Owns the car, drives the car, probably casts the spell that allows hundreds of people to clown car into the car.
Loves the song, totally gets into the music, but drives like a boss, despite seemingly paying more attention to conversations with his passengers than with the road. Hopes that the radio won't switch to demonic voices again.

Quertus (ageless 5'6" human "wizard", lawful neutral, bright red robes, metal staff)
Quertus has suffered through these ancient forms of travel and music before, and knows to use Illusions to make it seem that the music is quieter, and magic to keep his equilibrium from being upset, so that he can read his book in peace. Ignores the invisible naga simulacrum curled up at his feet.

Rei (paragon half celestial human child, chaotic good, white summer dress)
Rei's mood is likely petulant, having just been scolded for ripping up the seat cushions to craft makeshift ear plugs. As her mood improves, she will likely begin kicking her little bare feet while stroking her newly regrown wings.

Winx (oversized minotaur fighter/cleric, breast plate & bracers & loin cloth)
Winx will alternate between using his commanding voice to regail his fellow passengers with tales off how, by the power of his deity, he smote his foes; and challenging people to competitive games: cards, I spy, on a trip I would bring, etc. That he loses most of these games does not in any way deter him.

Briq (troll cyborg, neutral?, ripped t-shirt and jeans, chains)
Briq seems amped up on a few kilotons of caffeine. He is constantly jittery, catching people's drinks before they spill, and seems to want to look every which way at once. He insists that the sun roof stay open, and periodically checks that he can fit through the opening pokes his head out, either to yell at someone, or for no apparent reason.

Alex (young human mage, neutral good, school uniform & backpack)
Alex will curl up in a corner with ear buds, while playing on a custom handheld game station. He will take the ear buds out briefly if someone, including his 2" "succubus" familiar (who is constantly trying to keep the video game characters from getting out), gets his attention. Small animated creatures made of random materials (oragami, quicksilver, play dough, Legos, etc) may occasionally ask questions of people too far away for him to talk to comfortably.

Hunter Neophotis ("human", ng?, combat fatigues)
This swarthy young man would be riding shotgun, pouring over a map, muttering "too risky, too risky" like Gollum was his evil twin. He would be trying to plot out alternate routes, including refueling spots and restroom breaks, where he felt the group would be least disadvantaged if ambushed.

As for a new setting... on the beach?

The Bandicoot

Flarg Stumbleduck (CN Gnome bard of no small talent) is playing the band. No he's not playing IN the band, he IS the band. Liberal use of spells to mimic other instruments as he does lead lyre and singing.

Gird (NG teenage minotaur that's as dumb as a post) is playing with the children. He's either being climbed on or buried under a mountain of sand.

Let's continue with the beach

Angeir(Hill Dwarf Druid NG) is having a drink of his own making out of a very travel worn, but still ornately dwarven mug, while having an idle conversation with a sea turtle about potentially brewable underwater plants. Gets tired of it(turtle don't know crap about crap), turns into a shark, eats a tuna.

Ulman(Human Fighter LN) is found lounging on a chair, trying to look inconspicuous despite being the only person in full armor, wielding a halberd at the beach. Keeps muttering curses about rust and how hot it is. He's not on a job, but bodyguards and mercenaries tend to have lots of enemies. Swim trunks do not improve AC.

Zemina(Half Elf Warlock, slowly sliding from LG to CN at best) is playing in the water, trying to feel normal again, when she sees an octopus surface from the water and stare at her for a while. Transfixed, she stares back until she finally tears her eyes away and runs screaming while crying tears of blood.

Slippery John(Human Rogue CN) Sees what happens to Zemina and runs after her while brandishing a dagger that seemingly came from nowhere(he's currently only wearing shorts) shouting "NECROMANCER! I WILL KILL YOU!" Until she is forced to turn around and cast Hold Person on him before continuing running

Change of scenery

In line at the DMV/RMV or where ever you register a car where you're from.

All of these are characters from the Pokemon Tabletop United system, and so are human unless otherwise stated.

Nira Tyr (Survivalist/Stone Warrior/Touched+Messiah of Terrakion, hiker and mercenary) is waiting for a friend, since she doesn't drive. Probably tapping her walking stick on the ground, if it's taking an especially long time.

Nathaniel Berger (Capture Specialist/Hunter/Roughneck, shepherd-turned-legendary-protector) is probably also waiting for a friend, and is practicing his aim by flicking pebbles at random seats. He also has a Carnivine crouched next to him, who has several vines/leaves draped protectively over his shoulder.

Vera Hampton (Coordinator/Fashionista, contest hall business owner) is standing patiently in line, with her hair and makeup all neat and perfect. Her paperwork is perfectly in order, and she's smiling despite the long wait.

At the DMV?

Briq (troll cyborg, ripped t-shirt and jeans, chains) has donned some poorly fitting overalls (composed of about 20% duct tape) and a tool belt. He is running fiber optic cable through their ceiling, and otherwise optimizing their system.

Rei (paragon half-celestial human child) is taking turns chasing and being chased by an energetic grey puppy, outside if need be.

Everyone else who can drive would be using online alternatives (or fake IDs).

In the car:

Flint (Young adult dwarf, barbarian sailor)
Would try to get some shut eye while riding shotgun, feet up on the dash. Would yell to turn the music down in his dwarven/pirate accent, and upon nothing happening would then punch the radio into silence. Also the window would be down, and if the driver attempted to roll it up it would be punched out.

Thought I'd compile my responses, and edit/add a few while I was at it.

Woody Deacon - young adult human mage, black trench coat
Owns the car, drives the car, probably casts the spell that allows hundreds of people to clown car into the car.
Loves the song, totally gets into the music, but drives like a boss, despite seemingly paying more attention to conversations with his passengers than with the road. Hopes that the radio won't switch to demonic voices again.

Quertus - ageless human "wizard", bright red robes, metal staff
Quertus has suffered through these ancient forms of travel and music before, and knows to use Illusions to make it seem that the music is quieter, and magic to keep his equilibrium from being upset, so that he can read his book in peace. Ignores the invisible naga simulacrum curled up at his feet.

Rei - paragon -celestial human child, white summer dress
Rei's mood is likely petulant, having just been scolded for ripping up the seat cushions to craft makeshift ear plugs. As her mood improves, she will likely begin kicking her little bare feet while stroking her newly regrown wings.

Winx - oversized minotaur fighter/cleric, breast plate & bracers & loin cloth
Winx will alternate between using his commanding voice to regail his fellow passengers with tales off how, by the power of his deity, he smote his foes; and challenging people to competitive games: cards, I spy, on a trip I would bring, etc. That he loses most of these games does not in any way deter him.

Briq - troll cyborg, ripped t-shirt & jeans, chains
Briq seems amped up on a few kilotons of caffeine. He is constantly jittery, catching people's drinks before they spill, and seems to want to look every which way at once. He insists that the sun roof stay open, and periodically pokes his head out, either to yell at someone outside, or for no readily apparent reason.

Alex - young human mage, school uniform & backpack
Alex will curl up in a corner, playing on a custom handheld game station with ear buds.

Hunter Neophotis - "human", combat fatigues
This swarthy young man would be riding shotgun, pouring over a map, muttering "too risky, too risky" like Gollum was his evil twin. He would be trying to plot out alternate routes, including refueling spots and restroom breaks, where he felt the group would be least disadvantaged if ambushed.

Raymond - "middle-aged" human vampire telepath, 3-piece suit
Raymond practically oozes confidence and power... despite sitting in the back by the door, and placing his bodyguard companion, Tivek, between himself and anything even remotely dangerous the rest of the group.

Tivek - young adult romulan vampire engineer/"mage", power suit w/ skirt
Although she will cooly engage anyone who speaks to her, probably while still clicking on the tablet-like doohickey in her hand, it is clear that she only cares about (guarding) Raymond. You can tell by the way she is always holding his hand, ready to pull him away from danger.

Woody Deacon - young adult human mage, black trench coat Spencer's-style swim trunks
Woody is lounging on a blanket, designer sunglasses covering his bloodshot eyes, attempting to rehydrate after a night of partying.
With any luck, people will more likely notice whatever inappropriate words/images are on his swim trunks than the bronzed bullet around his neck, or anything odd about the paraphernalia strewn about the blanket.

Quertus - ageless human "wizard", bright red robes, metal staff
Quertus is relaxing at a seaside restaurant, enjoying fresh caught sea food and a glass of wine. He is trying to puzzle through why his companions said he should order albatross, or why they thought it so funny. His invisible naga simulacrum is being no help. He is hoping his companions will allow him to borrow some money, or that the establishment will accept payment in gold or precious gemstones.

Rei - paragon -celestial human child, white summer dress
Rei is testing her wings, soaring just a few feet above the water. A broad smile crosses her face as she watches the fish swim below her. When she invariably plucks out something - a shark, several tons of coral reef, etc - she is told to put it back, she can't take it home.

Winx - oversized minotaur fighter/cleric, breast plate & bracers & loin cloth
Winx is playing beach volleyball, bellowing loudly. With his size and strength, coupled with his skill, he would be dominating the game if it weren't for his difficulty finding good footing in the sand.

Alex - young human mage, school uniform & backpack swim trunks & swim cap
Alex is building a sand castle for his 2" "succubus" familiar (she is doing more of the interior decorating). He is likely aided by miniature "construction equipment" (made of linkin logs, legos, driftwood, or whatever else he could find), and several random video game characters (all roughly "screen sized"). A circle of magic sigils surrounding the sand castle keeps the video game characters from escaping.

Hunter Neophotis - "human", combat fatigues
Hunter is flitting between groups, walking the beach, keeping an eye out for trouble. He has also picked up a few shells to give to his friends back home, and picked out a spot from which to watch the sunset.

Briq (troll cyborg, ripped t-shirt and jeans, chains)
Briq has donned some poorly fitting overalls (composed of about 20% duct tape) and a tool belt. He is running fiber optic cable through their ceiling, and otherwise optimizing their system.

Rei - paragon -celestial human child, white summer dress
Rei is taking turns chasing and being chased by an energetic grey puppy, outside if need be.

Woody Deacon - young adult human mage, black trench coat
Having driven everyone here, Woody is out in his car, taking a nap. With the sunroof down, just to annoy the pair of "SPF 5000" vampires in the back seat, making out.

Raymond - "middle-aged" human vampire telepath, 3-piece suit
Raymond drew the short straw, and is on babysitting duty. Having no interest in playing with the child, he had Tivek summon her a plaything, then devised this plan to look inconspicuous while keeping an eye on the "young morsel".

Tivek - young adult romulan vampire engineer/"mage", power suit w/ skirt
Although initially fearing Raymond's concept of social camouflage to be outdated, Tivek has thrown herself into the role wholeheartedly. She has to admit, she hasn't noticed anyone giving them a second glance since they started their PDA.

At the beach

Bombe (CN female human evoker/ranger)
Winds up chasing seagulls with flaming arrows
