The capstone needs a duration and would make a lot more sense as a dexterity save.

Right duration. I screwed that up. Thanks for catching it.

You might be right on the Dexterity saving throw, but I made it Wisdom based on thematically in my head, you're able to dodge because you have the presence of mind and forethought to predict where the monk will be.
