Soulmech
A five level prestige class for Dragonmech
Made this for a player in my new campaign. It combines Soulblade and Mech Jockey into a single bizarre hybrid. I haven't come up with a fifth level ability yet...
(Requires the Dragonmech book)
Requirements
Skills- Mech Pilot 5 ranks, Psicraft 5 ranks
Class Features- "Shape Mind Blade"
Mech Attack Bonus- +3
Feats- Mech Weapon Proficiency (Any)
Special- Mechanized Combat Practice feat OR Mech Fingers (Warrior Instinct) Class feature.
Features
Hit Die- d8
Skills- The class skills of the Soulmech are Autohypnosis (Con), Knowledge (Mechs) (Int), Knowledge (Psionics) (Int), Mech Pilot (Dex), Psicraft (Int), and Spot (Wis). A Soulmech gains 4+int mod skill points per level.
Proficiencies- A Soulmech gains no proficiencies.

Extraordinary Pilot (Ex)- A Soulmech adds his levels in Soulmech to every Mech Pilot roll.
PsiMech (Su)- A Soulmech who is currently piloting a mech or manning a weapon emplacement may manifest his mindblade as though it were sized for the mech. For example, a Soulmech piloting a Colossal mech could materialize a longsword that would be used in one hand and deal 6d6 (+the mech's strength bonus) damage.
Bonus Feat (Ex)- At second and fourth levels, a Soulmech gains a bonus feat from the Mech Jockey feat list.
Push the Envelope (Ex)- At third level, a Soulmech gains a single usage of Push the Envelope, as the Mech Jockey class feature. For the purposes of Push the Envelope, a level of Soulmech is a level of Mech Jockey.
Psychic Strike +1d8 (Su)- At fifth level, a Soulmech gains an additional die of Psychic Strike.
---
-not quite happy with the last level benefit... Maybe add Mindblade +1 somewhere in the progression. One idea was to be able to generate a mech purely out of psychic energy, but that was a bit overpowered. Although... perhaps a large-sized mech... hmmmm...
