the result of casting prestidigitation and permenancy on a pregnant laboratory cat, bane cats exist for no other reason than boredom and arcane magic. they often mix with stray cats in urban areas, but their dragon like quest for interest/shiny stuff drives them all over the world. a dc 11 knowledge arcana or nature check is needed to determine a bane cat from a mundane cat. party's venturing from sites of a bane cat's interest are often stalked. when the party rests, the bane cat snoops through there stuff and takes a small object, rarely anything worth more than 100 gp.

Nice. I could definately see one of these being a recurring nuisance in a light-hearted game.

A few thoughts:

It's customary for little creatures with high dex and low strength to get Weapon Finesse as a bonus feat. The regular cat in the SRD has it; why doesn't the bane cat?

It seems to be short a few skill points. It should have 7. It looks like it currently has 1 rank in Hide, 2 ranks in Move Silently, and 2 ranks in Survival.

What exactly does Monstrous Bite do? Looking at the stat block, it's obvious, but it's always good to spell these sorts of things out.

Also, you might want to clean up the entry some. The little things - capitalization, arrangement of the AC line, listing attack bonuses - do help to make the entry easier to use. Try to match the formatting in the SRD and MM.

The Koga likes it! He's fairly ceartain the feline is undangerous to the average adventurer (sept maybe low levels but then, so is everything). But in a monster campaign this would ceartainly make an interesting choice!

I like it as well, but I think it should have predestignation as a SLA at will.
The laundry cat.

You might want to know that you're thread necromancy'ing a thread (posting in a thread after a month has gone without replies), as stated in the forum rules.

However, in the homebrew forum, thread necromancy isn't as frowned upon as in the other fora as long as you add something to the discussion.

Likewise, as long as you're a pixie, it's tolerated by the bulk of the forumgoers.

Either way, rock on.
