Hey everybody! I've been hard at work tinkering with my Avatar: The Last Airbender system. I know it's still not perfect, but I am pretty happy with where it's at right now, and I would just love love love if anyone, given the opportunity, would be so inclined as to test some of this out and let me know how it plays. I'm especially curious as to how it stacks up compared to other 5e base content, as that's the bar I'm building toward.

At this point, I've reworked the Lacer and Samsari classes. The Lacer is more of a fighter, one that uses elemental attacks and physical power. The Samsari, in contrast, is a caster, a squishy elemental character who uses elemental powers for utility and combat.

There is a lot of choice involved, but every since my first incarnation of the Lacer, the feedback I've gotten is that it was too confusing and not laid out well enough. I've worked really hard on streamlining it, and even with adding more differences between the elements in the Lacer class, I was able to cut out more than a page of empty space.

The Samsari has seen fewer changes, but I did remove the familiar (not really thematically appropriate, as /u/chifii was kind enough to point out), but substituted it with a new ability I think will work well. I feel like the Help action is one that's pretty underutilized, so I was hoping to find some play there.

I wasn't going to put anything new up until I finished creating the forms for all four elements. While I'm sure they still need work, I'm happy to say that I have a list of forms for all four elements ready to go.

I've also got an elemental subclass for the Barbarian and Monk classes, one that adds some elemental abilities. I was originally going to create one for the Fighter and Rogue classes (seeing as how those two classes have subclasses that grant spellcasting) as well, but was having trouble implementing them and didn't feel they were necessary. The Barbarian and Monk felt more thematically appropriate to have.

So that's it! Like I said, I would love if someone had the opportunity to try this out. I've included PDF versions of everything, although these are still not final versions. But I know some people have trouble viewing the Homebrewery.

I've also included links to my [Patreon](https://www.patreon.com/alexctanner?ty=h) (which I spent most of the day setting up). I just wanted to have it because, since this is such a passion project for me, I wanted to do what I could to get some custom art commissioned for it. I only mention it in case anyone really wants to support it, but at this point, someone being able to play it and actually rate it in play would be incredible.

Thanks so much for checking it out!

I'm not really all that adept at criticizing 5E work, but I just wanted to stop by and say hey, I am consistently impressed by your commitment to this project, and the quality thereof!

Wow thanks! I'm guessing you remember when it was, for a while, a Pathfinder e6 set of rules. I really appreciate you taking the time to drop by. Even though the Pathfinder set didn't come to complete fruition, that period of development still really helped to shape what has come now, so I'm still really happy with what I created then.

Thanks again!

You're quite welcome. If nothing else, I have you to thank for turning me on to naturalcrit.com - I'm trying to adapt all of my own E6 classes with it, because the results really are quite pleasing to the eye. I'm absolutely hopeless with the image editing, though, but the text layout is fantastic!

I'm going to try and give all of your work here a look over and let you know if there are any glaring issues. I don't play 5E so I probably can't give you a good idea of whether or not they're balanced, but I don't think the system is too different from the one I'm used to.

Hell, maybe I'll even try my hand at 5E E6.
